Be prepared to wait for a very very long time if picking up medication. I didn’t experience this myself, but while waiting in line there was a woman who had just had surgery and was unable to stand on her feet. Zero empathy or accountability from the pharmacy staff- in fact, the pharmacy rep was being a little snotty to the woman for complaining. Also, the drive thru window is closed pretty much all of the time. Extremely unprofessional and inefficient staff. Go elsewhere if you can.

I switched to Walgreens thinking it would be better than CVS. I was wrong. They don't take my insurance and didn't even call me to tell me. So I'm waiting on my prescription for my son and I'm almost out of his medication. I can deal with it at home but I can't send him to school without it. They could have at least called me and the white lady on the phone was rude. What is up with these rude pharmacy people. I did not know they did not take my insurance I have used that pharmacy before years ago. Anyway heres hoping the next one is better. I just want to pick up my prescription without any issues it is not that hard. Can we just get a kiosk so we don't have to take to anyone?

staff very rude and dismissive....I was then told my prescription would be filled later that day.. to find out 24 HRS later that they are out of stock and I have to wait LEAST 24 to 48 more.......never again

Drive thru, if open, can take over 15 minutes. Long lines inside.So far my first delivery has taken over 3 days.Can't win here.

Good news for all of you tired of waiting in those long, slow lines at this Walgreens Pharmacy. After yet another horrible experience today, you will no longer be stuck in line behind me. After waiting for over 45 minutes and someone behind me complained I was the first person to be waited on by the manager who was ticked off about having to do some work & treated me rudely and abruptly like I was an inconvenience instead of a respected customer. Any question I had was responded to dismissively like she couldn't wait to get rid of me. Horrible person. My lifelong response to this kind of treatment is to vote with my feet. I drove from there across the street to the CVS, bright, clean, modern and friendly. Maybe if enough of you follow my example they will close this place down, gut it and put in a nice restaurant. Everybody needs to have a dream. Adios.

I finally decided to get vaccinated! It went wrong but I didn't give up until I got my 1st Pfizer shot. ~ The process here you go online you pick your 1st and 2nd date along with your location and have the choice to complete your paperwork before your appointment or when you get there 15 minutes before.. I am very proactive. I printed mine out at home completed the questionnaire took it with me arrived early. This is where it got frustrating. You will be waiting in line with pick up/drop off medication line. It's very confusing because no one helps it's 1 person in the drive thru, 1 lady at the register, and about 4 people in the back packing pill bottles. I waited in this line over 30 minutes with my paperwork already filled out. Once I get to the register she take my paperwork (I am a Walgreens member there over 12yrs) Guess that didn't matter but she had all my info just throwing that out there. She said someone would be with me shortly... Shortly became over an hour . While others were still waiting patiently mine ran out. I ask for the manager. Fast forward--- He was so rude he told me using his hand language to have a seat like everyone else and they will be with me asap! Excuse me. No you will help NOW. There was several elderly people waiting for longer times being ignored . The time I was done fussing making a scene ( I wasn't using profanity) he had a guy from the back come around finally calling names, giving vaccines and having people waiting around 10-15 minutes just in case of a reaction. My next appointment October 4! Yay! To become a Pharmacy Manager I expect better Customer Service .. yelling and using hand gestures is very rude and upsetting. Jobs are slowing requiring this vaccine to work or even requirements to travel passports etc. Be polite as you would want to be treated. Respect the elderly they have seen so much in there time and this era is a nitemare. Walgreens you guys got to do better and have a better process with providing these vaccinations. It's confusing and unorganized.DON'T GET DISCOURAGED GET VACCINATED! 😊✅

Worst customer service ever. They are to interested in who didn’t cover for their shift and had to work. They are to busy taking care of drive thru for the lazy people who can’t get out of car and walk in. But I see why. You get waited on quicker and I stood inline by my self for 20 minutes until I just had enough and said how about taking care of people inside. They said they were short handed. I said put more people on Go to CVS much better store. Better qualified people and have much more manners. Plus they really work to get you in and out

RUDE !!! The Pharmacy staff is the worst. I called earlier today to find out why my son’s prescription was so high seeing that he has insurance. When I was speaking with someone I gave information needed and was waiting to have my question answered. Who ever the lady was on the phone made me feel like I was bothering her by asking a simple question. I was told that his insurance was canceled in 2018 and that’s why , I find that funny because you just filled a prescription last year with the very same insurance . No worries I’ll just take his prescriptions elsewhere.

This pharmacy is extremely slow, unprofessional And unorganized. The customer service is terrible. Regardless of the Amount of people in the lines you are always here close to an hour. If you listen closely you can hear them discussing patient information and medication. There are numerous HIPPA violations that I am actually surprised that they have not been fined for. Just look on the counter and you have access to peoples personal health information. The pharmacist is a joke. One person came in and had a medication that was suggested she talk to the pharmacist about. The pharmacist Immediately told her to contact her doctor. I was actually nervous about getting my Covid vaccination here. They are always understaffed. Hopefully Walgreens will investigate or do further research into customer complaints. I will definitely be shopping and filling prescriptions at CVS Moving forward and I suggest you all do the same.

The pharmacy department is EXTREMELY Unprofessional and lie about everything under the sun if it's a medication they don't want to fill. In addition, they could care less about the customer's time or any customer service for that matter. I saw one review where it stated the pharmacist makes up his own rules when it comes to filling prescriptions and unfortunately, I have to agree. Get BETTER, TRAINED (customer friendly) staff ASAP!!!!

I moved to Chesapeake a year ago and this Walgreens pharmacy staff are very rude and they need better training. You ask a question they get very nasty with you. I have been trying a get a refill for over a week my doctor says they have sent it over several times!! But they claim to only have 2 Out of 3 prescriptions ready. They refuse to contact the doctor to try to get it done. The Walgreens in Virginia beach has excellent customer service and I'm asad I had to leave them. I'm going to switch to another store. DO NOT USE THIS LOCATION.

This pharmacy is SLOW !!!Unfortunately for those of us that need our prescriptions filled, expect a 10-20 minute wait per vehicle.Regardless of having two drive-thru lanes, the pharmacy techs, only use one lane at a time by alternating back and forth.Maybe they are unable to multi-task.

More than 20 minutes on hold just waiting for someone to answer. Didn't fill my prescription because i didn't have my insurance updated....LIKE I AM JUST NOT GOING TO GET MY 4yr old's meds! Three registers and only ever seen one used at a time... place is under staffed at peak HRS.18 minutes later I finally get my prescription after waiting in line. There was actually someone running the second register but she's not the register and went ahead and received what looks like a package from Amazon a personal package from Amazon is more important than her job today apparently. So back to one person at one of the three registers this is no place personal business in this is no way to run a business... get it together Walgreens CVS is right across the street

Manager Gwen was rude and short as I awaited my pictures I printed.. earlier in the week I printed pics and the young man said give me two minutes and I’ll print them out (nice guy) on this particular day I stood in front of counter simply waiting. I didn’t ask for help because the approx time my order would be ready is 30 mins .. Gwen said their not ready I said no problem I’ll wait.. Gwen walked by me 3xs didn’t return to check on the status of the pics. No problem- I go to parking lot and wait- when I reentered (45 mins later)the young lady checked on my pics and said there is no order- the order doesn’t even look like it was submitted- I stated my order was confirmed - she’s said there is no order- a week later .. this morning- I received an email my pics were ready smh - I advised the store to discard my pics since I went to Walmart to print the pics- the manager acts as if she’s bothered - bad experience

This Walgreens has spiraled down and has become the worst I've ever gone to. There is always a line inside and outside. Morning, noon, and night. You can't pickup a prescription in under 20 minutes. One of the pharmacists makes up his own rules about what he refills and when and will bold face lie about why he won't fill it. (Seriously, if I've had a prescription filled there every month for 10 years from the same doctor at the same strength, why do you need to double check with the doctor every month to make sure they wrote it right?) I've called in prescriptions, gotten a text that it was ready for pickup, and waited in line only to find out they put it back after a couple of days with no reason. They used to be open 24 hours but now they aren't. It's a shame because they used to be the best pharmacy around.

Hour and a half long wait for a shot that I had an appointment and had pre-filled all required paperwork for. Time was the only thing that mattered to me and it was abused. Otherwise a clean and well-stocked store.

I have always loved this Walgreens but the pharmacy has gone down with slow service and the drive-thru makes no sense having 2 lanes but only 1 server. You wait in line because only a couple cars ahead then due to slow service other cars show up in other lane & get served ahead of those who've been waiting. Took me 20-25 minutes to get thru the drive-thru the other day. Its a simple concept:2 lanes = 2 servers1 server = 1 lane

Was told by patient first on Taylor road to go to Walgreens because CVS doesn't take Tricare. We get there 15 minutes before close and they tell us that Tricare isn't the main insurance. I give them a secondary insurance card and they act like they're typing away ay the computer and the girl keeps coming back with the most ridiculous questions to buy time pretty much. She then says that our daughter isn't pulling up on that insurance as well. My daughter has two insurances and is covered by both for circumstances like this. I ask the woman to pull my insurance infotoi comfirm that with me and the main pharmacist gets on, it's now 9:04 and they pretty much saybtheress nothing they can do. We asked for him to send our script to CVS next door because we were highly frustrated knowing either it was them rushing to get out of work or our skin color. I'll go with both considering both pharmacist treated us unfairly and unprofessional. We went next door to CVS with NO ISSUES, NO ISSUES. NOT EVEN A QUESTION. THEY FILLED IT! Do yourself a favor and go to CVS. They are just plain rude and unprofessional at Walgreens.

They need management that is welcoming to customers. Walked in today and asked where to do a return and a manager stated loudly l maam go wait in the linealine I was entering the store. No answer , NO greeting.. just that. Then I saw the photo cashier had just finished with a customer and I walked towards the cashier and the manager yelled to her to get off that register and come to front register so another staff person could go to lunch, leaving me standing there. Then told me, Ma'am come get in the line.. WHAT THE HECK?! She pulled a cashier to make sure I would get in the line at the front.. This location has alot of problems... They put carts in front of pharmacy drive thru regularly. They.Had great staff at one point, I don't know where they all went. They are not very rude.

The Lab Corp is HORRIBLE! It’s a Rude Older black lady that doesn’t listen to the patient! She needs training on customer service! I almost missed my Surgery clearance deadline because of her incompetence! She is a disgusting person to do business with and very ignorant. Would not recommend.

Very rude to me. Dropped off my prescription in drive thru then person pulled up beside me and they waited on them first after I’d been sitting there waiting for five minutes to be serviced. When I said something they said they hadn’t noticed although they took my prescription in first. Then she shouted out to her coworkers across store about what I was saying to her to belittle me

Stop my brother with stage 4 cancer goes IB to have prescription filled. Denied by insurance company Walgreens charges 400 dollars for pain meds. .he can't pay that much.. understandable at this point. We contact insurance company and they agree to cover a 3 day emergency supply until doctor can be reached Monday morning.. all they need is for pharmacist to call and verify a 3day emergency supply. Nope.. Walgreens pharmacist are apparently 2 lazy and could care less about a stage 4 cancer patient to do this.. pathetic and basically no human decency.. I wouldn't bring my dog here with the attitude these people have. Walgreens has permanently lost my businesses...

Waited in line at the pharmacy at 5:30PM. Got to the window at 6:01. Sat there till 6:08 for them to tell me that they are closed. Such a waste of time. The representative was completely rude. I get off at work at 5 and came straight over to be denied my medication.

This is my go to drugstore. I love the way the store is set up, the cleanliness, the excellent customer service and of course all of the gift ideas during the holidays! Sometimes I just walk around to look at all of the items. This store has something for everyone with prices that won't leave you feeling violated. And I love my reward points!!!

Very dissatisfied with the pharmacy service, was told to come back several times because my prescription "wasnt ready" even though I had waited the time they said. It just kept getting pushed back. If you don't know when it will be ready, just say that. Don't tell your customers to come back at a certain time just to waste more of their time.

Lady working the photo counter aowed me to be skipped in line and refused to help me...told me to wait while the skipping person uploaded pictures to attempt her machine instead of assisting me with my task. Customer service is just non-existent these days
