Love me some Ollie's. Only put 4 stars because their secret shoppers are very obvious and when they follow you around it makes me feel some type of way. I understand you never know who's going to steal what but Everytime I go in there I drop at least 70 dollars. People know me in there. And to be followed and watched in their marked down aisle seemed a bit disrespectful to me lol

This store has a great selection, especially of books! The people are friendly and willing to help you. Unfortunately, customers don't care if they put things back where they belong, so it's a little unorganized. I will definitely be back.

Enjoy shopping Ollie's, can find just about anything you're looking for, at great prices, employees very nice, good customer service, you can find a lot of brand name, products of a lot cheaper! 9/21/23 UPDATE, I shop there often , great prices,recommend, buy when you see what you want, may be sold next time you shop!!! I love Ollie's and have been to many different ones up and down the East Coast. There are usually always some good finds and most of the time I really enjoy the staff. Unfortunately this location has one particular staff member that is so unpleasant. Not sure how she is still employed there with the little to no customer service skills she has but I actually dread being in her checkout line and when she is out on the floor I feel uncomfortable being in an aisle she is working in. Customers shouldn't feel as if they are such an inconvenience to the employees yet she gives off negative energy everytime I have encountered her. I had a very heavy item that she offered no help in trying to find a way to scan without me straining myself trying to lift it out of the cart by myself and delaying the line. Additionally because their carts cant go outside to prevent theft she was no help in offering a cart literally behind her that didnt have the bar so i could easily take out my very heavy purchase. Her tone is rude and she constantly rolls her eyes and sighs as though annoyed. I thought the first time I encountered her she was just having a bad day but now I feel as though this is just how she is. Probably should find a job that doesn't require working with customers... on the flip side, there is one very nice employee I have encountered that always greets everyone so friendly working right next to the door and she restores my faith a bit more. Wish I got their names but anyone that shops here regularly I am sure knows exactly who I'm referring to.

I’m giving 5 stars because the store delivers on its promise of “Good stuff cheap.” It should be noted that the store is ALWAYS busy and the store is in a rough area so the customers can be challenging. The cashier and store associates aren’t extremely helpful or friendly, but if you go with a proper expectation, you will be pleased with the items you find. It is also important to note that it is a close out store, so what’s there is there.

I love going to Ollie's. Just like their slogan, "good stuff cheap". I like the fact that not all Ollie's have all the same merchandise. I've have went to Ollie's in Hampton, Newport News and Portsmouth.

The employees are always helpful and nice. They are always stocked with a lot of great items. They have really good deals. Pretty clean for an older store and they keep stuff pretty organized considering how customers will mess items up. I enjoy going into this store and shopping.

Just comparing this Ollie's to another Ollie's, this Ollie's was horrible to say the least truthfully.We have shopped Ollie's for years on through, and never ever seen an outlet in such deplorable conditions.

There was one young blk male working the register that made me coming in worth it. They don't really have anything and the prices have went UP however this young man's customer service WAS EVERYTHING I complimented him and left. HE is the reason they're getting 5 stars

Couldn't even get in the door because they were doing inventory and closed early, at 8pm. When it's advertised they close at 9pm. I was TRYING to go in to get some things for grandma.

It has a little bit of everything. If you love Target, you'll love Ollie's even more. This is where Target moves their overflowing inventory. Brand name, brand new, same quality, only heavily marked down in price. Shop here before shopping anywhere else.

I LOVE THIS STORE!!! This is my everything store. My coworkers used to joke me because almost everything I bought to work had an Ollie's sticker on it. Once they checked it out, they never turned back. We had to get before it was gone. I only missed one item recently. (Smh) I Love the Ollie's Follies discounts. I definitely take advantage.

Great place for discouts had a good time shopping there Sunday night until it was time to leave and the short little Manager wanted to bark at the employees like he owned them. I had 52 items and he told the girl helping bag that she should be over by the door greeting people and had no intention of helping out. If I was working under him I would have walked out. This location needs a better manager.
