Stopped in for the first time this weekend and regret not doing it sooner. Everyone was so welcoming and friendly! Beautiful plants, gardening necessities and more at reasonable prices. They currently have their Christmas display up and it is AMAZING! If you haven't stopped in, do it now!!

It’s amazing that this place has such a great Christmas walkthrough display behind their store. Some of it was outside and they had two different buildings to walk through as well. The staff was so friendly and it was a great experience and kids loved it.

I *LOVE* Norfolk County Feed & Seed. I visit at least once a week, most of the time, and the employees recognize me!They’re very down-to-earth and comfortable to be around—and don’t hesitate to offer more affordable solutions to your garden hiccups (like spider mites), especially if you ask for something lower-end.They’re always selling fresh produce from locals (tomatoes, peppers, collards, etc.) for prices cheaper & quality BETTER than that in grocery stores.*I always come here first, rather than a chain garden store.FYI: Houseplants come with a punch-card where you get 20% off your next houseplant purchase after 5 visits!

This beats any of the big stores hands down. The personal touch is important in gardening. They can provide worthwhile advice and provide the best solutions. There starter plants in the spring have always been healthy and plentiful. From pine straw and cedar mulch to the proper fertilizer, you cannot go wrong here. A Portsmouth landmark.

The customer service was top notch and the store had a nice old school feel to it. I could tell that it's been in the community for years. I understand why. It's a nice place to go for pest control products, gardening stuff, and general decorative housewares. Thanks for being so nice. I shall return. 😊

Love this place so helpful, and the plants are always healthy and ready to plant. prices can be higher than most, but you definitely get your money's worth here with th knowledge and help they provide. I highly recommend coming here over anywhere else.

I love this store! Everyone I've ever spoken to there has been so helpful, whether it was gardening advice, carrying things to my car, or finding me someone to answer questions. They always recommend the best products without ever upselling.They helped me make the squirrels stop digging for half the price I was about to spend on pest control products.Great plant and seed selection, too, so diverse and reasonably priced! I'm not allowed to go in the indoor plant area anymore, because I can't stop buying house plants...

Lovely people and fantastic plants. I especially love the little surprise tropical plants they get in every month from Florida. There are rare jewels sprinkled in. I, also, love their garden starts. Quality and strong healthy plants!

This is one of the best places to get your lawn together or Garden started. The staff is so wonderful and will help you with any questions and always have great ideas etc. The room in the side is like a museum with something’s you haven’t viewed in years, They also sale fresh vegetables in season and great tomatoes 🍅 and garlic & onions etc.

This is an amazing plant, yard, pet, and home store! I am thoroughly impressed with the selection and service. The selection of houseplants is huge, and all of the plants look healthy and well taken care of. The first time I went in was about three months ago, and all of the plants I bought then are still thriving. Added more to my collection today! The two shop kitties are the sweet icing on the cake :) will definitely be going back!

I love Norfolk County Feed and Seed. They have a large variety of plants and gardening materials and during the holidays they have a nice Christmas set up you can walk through and visit with Santa Clause.

Great selection on plants and they have kitties roaming the building! If I could give a higher review I would on that alone. Very nice staff, and I do love Lowe’s, but this place made you feel like you’re at home. It takes you back to a country home feel and I love it. If you love plants and a magical sense to them go here!

The nicest people work here! They have a couple of live-in cats that are just as sweet without being invasive. Very helpful staff. Great selection of healthy plants. Fair prices. I drive the extra distance to shop here and always buy more than I'd planned on.

Good local place been in business many years family ran knowledgeable and very helpful looking for winter plants to put out in my garden. I have bought my spring plants there last couple years .more plants coming soon was.told will be going back to buy some collards kale and such . Just great to support hard working local folks everyone so nice they sell alot of lodge cast iron products also

Great selection of various types of shrubs, edible plants, and ornamentals. We got a few banana pepper plants which are growing beautifully. We purchased a Black Knight butterfly bush and it is blooming beautifuly!
