I planned a pickup of mulch, soil and patio bricks after church. I got out of church and no notice it was ready. I then did my grocery shopping. Still no notice, so I went to the store. The staff was very helpful and got my order ready. The person who was to have pulled the order was no where to be found. However, I credit the staff with getting the job done in the end. It was extremely busy too.

This particular Lowes always seems to fall short in customer service and organization when compared to other locations. I recently went to buy a propane tank and was left standing outside for way too long. I had to go back into the store and ask the several employees standing around to please come give me the propane tank.Update: Lowes responded to my review and stated they would address the issue. They get an extra star ⭐️ for responding.

Absolutely the worse experience at a Lowe’s I’ve ever had. Nobody around to ask questions. When you do find an employee they run from you. Wait ed in line at customer service for 20 just to be told info on the website is wrong. Please go elsewhere for a better customer experience.

Called to inquire about a few leftover boxes to be reused; and was greeted by a rude and disrespectful associate who told me they didn’t have any today and to go to Dollar General! Every Lowe’s has extra boxes that are compacted at the end of the night; yet associate Jonnie wouldn’t even take the time to even take down my name or try and set a couple to the side for a patron. Very disappointed in the Customer Service.

The store has a wide selection and the associates I encountered were okay, but there were many issues with the store itself. 1. You have to pay for a shopping cart? No thanks. I ended up going back to the parking lot and found one that wasn’t locked.2. Garden department had hoses all over the place, and they were marked with safety cones, but no one was actively watering. I had to pop wheelies to get the cart over all the hoses.3. When I attempted to exit the store to get a cart I struggled to find an accessible entrance because all the checkout lanes were physically blocked with metal fencing & carts chained together. Only 1 land was open (self checkout). This was concerning for safety reasons.4. I drove 45 min to this store because my local store does not carry the specific item I needed. Its location was listed on the website incorrectly so I had to wonder around looking for it on my own. When I eventually found it nearly all the bags were torn open with the material spilling out. What a waste of time and money. I ended up moving half the pile out of my way to get down to bags that were the least damaged because there was no way I was coming back.

This review is just to warn those considering a fence install. In the end they will likely give you the lowest price. But it will not be worth the endless delays, poor workmanship, constant disrespect, ongoing double-talk, and no ownership.In my case, the project fell apart because one, the Hammer Contractors workers 'forgot' the tool they use to put a post in concrete and said they couldn't go back to get it. And two, because Lowes delivered damaged gates. Despite having those gates at their and every other nearby store (same sku, I went and tool pics), they, two weeks later, still say they are 'on order' says store manager Shatoya, install clerk Chris, and his manager Shaila (whose boss Mike doesn't speak with customers, she says). All while the damaged and unused materials sit on my property.Lowes has carefully put blocks in place to keep customers from going up the chain of command, likely because of just such problems they don't know how to solve.I purchased the fence to protect myself from the attacks of bad neighbor's bad dogs, which I was clear about from the beginning with Joey the salesman.Six weeks after paying in full and signing the contract, the job is half done and weeks away from completion.Beware.P. S. Also, please don't fall for the "you must sign this today to get that price because it's the end of the quarter," like I did.

Felicia Store Manager is a bully.This Store was good to shop at.It not anymore because of this Manager Felicia. We spent around $10,000 to $15,000 per month there. We will not shop there anymore. We going to take our business to Home Depot from now on. She have bully the best people that hardworking and knowledgeable. Always willing to help.*Felicia is insecure person.Not good. Big bully. Lowe’s shouldn't have someone like that represented Lowe's.Other contractor feel the same way. If she still work with Lowe’s we will not be shopping at Lowe's.Thank you

Well, don’t shop at Lowe’s anymore folks. They won’t give you store credit anymore for returns without receipts and their system is too stupid to recognize the card you purchased the item with. I know what card I used, I only use one card. Home Depot it is from now on for me. Ridiculous!

We went to a few lowes looking for a specific dishwasher, online said it waa in stocks but they didn't have them when I got there. I called portsmouth and the lady on the phone (Sherri) said she would look, but I had just got to the store by the time I got to speak with someone and told her I would be coming inside. I came inside and she was already looking for it. She found the item promptly, brought it out for us, walked it to our car, and even helped load it! Definitely great customer service! Thank you Sherri!

I really like this location because they always seem to have plenty of inventory and staff are always super helpful. I had to buy some 80lb bags of concrete and some schedule 40 pvc as well as some conduit couplings. They had everything I needed!

I had to get assistance with a carpet that was not priced. I saw another carpet to compare it to. When I spoke with the manager he was kind enough to take $30 off the price of the carpet because it was not priced or wrap. That felt good, the manager was willing to work with me rather than shutting me down for asking.Great customer service!

I purchased my mom a tub handle online from this location. I didn’t see a pop up ask me to schedule an installation. So I went in ,spoke to a mgr & he said there was no way he could schedule an installation. I would have to return the items, get a refund, but it again, then schedule an installation. Instead of going through that, we just hired a local professional to do it.

This is a large location with a big selection of home improvement, repair, and decor with a fairly large garden center. The problem is that there are no associates to assist you in the store and the lines are always very long. It’s a great place to find what you need, but don’t expect help and be prepared to wait in line.

Had two separate but both equally wonderful experiences at this Lowe’s store in the past week. The first was a simple pickup order. Quick and easy I got it out of the locker. To my surprise there was a little goodie bag in there with a little kid apron which I thought was a great touch since I have a 4yo.. the second experience was with a customer service agent JOHN. He helped with my return and even pointed me to the correct item I should have gotten the first time. As we were walking to the correct location he noticed I stopped to check out a display of kids toys and he offered me a free toy from the customer service desk. My son LOVED putting together that little football man later that night and I wish I could thank John again. I will be looking into the kids workshops also thanks to him and his kindness

Just the worst. Almost all of their shopping carts are chained up. Why even have them if nobody can use them? I had a ton of stuff I needed to buy, but no way to actually carry any of it. I had to go to Home Depot to get what I need, at least they have shopping carts. Ridiculous.

I am currently in the store shopping for a washer and dryer in the appliance section. I had to search for help. When I saw someone who could help, I called the gentleman over. He then called someone else over to help me. I didn’t know she was even working in the store because she had a shirt over her vest so I couldn’t see it. I asked this Patty about an appliance that was not price matked. It was a scratch and dent item. She retrieved information for me came back and swiftly left. I asked if Patty would help me with a few more appliances. I needed her help because I was not knowledgeable of the extra functions. As I began to question her about the features of the different appliances, she seemed very irritated and inhospitable. Her demeanor was such that she did not want to help me. I had multiple questions about a few different sets of appliances and discounts. One of the appliances had a tag on it that read $100 off. I asked Patty about the discount and she immediately snatched the tag off and said that the promotion was over. So then I asked politely since it was present do you guys honor that? Patty said no I will not do that.So, I moved on and stated that I wanted an estimate of these two appliances with tax included because I wanted to make a purchase.Patty disrespectfully and unprofessionally fanned me away and said I need to see the item numbers I’m blind. She walked away, and I guess, as she was searching for the totals she yelled across where I was, and asked for my number. I thought that was very disrespectful and unprofessional because she could’ve politely walked to me and asked me for my information. I wouldn’t yell that information over the store anyway.I walked over to her and asked for the store manager.She asked why I needed a manager and I informed her that I received her behavior as unprofessional and negative. She then called over someone who was not the store manager.The associate Stephanie who came over was polite. Stephanie also informed me that Lowes no longer offer military discount on appliances. This is some information that Patty did not offer.The store manager Mike came over and was extremely professional, informative, and polite.

Trashiest Lowe's in the area. Associates are hit and miss. Most don't care about helping you find anything. Nothing is correctly stocked. Good luck trying to find couplings or hardware.On top of all this, this store now refuses returns without a receipt.On top of Lowe's terrible website, this is the final nail in the coffin for them as far as I'm concerned. On to Home Depot.

Canceled my order for no reason. I got a very good deal on some flooring and they canceled it because I guess they weren’t making enlighten profit. I already started tearing out my old flooring when I got the email. Absolutely ridiculous. Never shopping at Lowe’s again since all they care about is profit and not their customers.

Larry was very helpful when I needed a new garbage disposal. My old one got jammed and was leaking. The new one was a simple twist on. Took an hour being my first time and making sure to read the instructions first but it wasnt hard to replace.

The return policy sucks. I have a line vinyl fence that was delivered damaged. It’s been over 90 days and I can’t exchange or return it. Putting up a fence isn’t always going to be put up in 90 days. If you don’t inspect a bulk order with over 30 post then you are at fault. Ridiculous. Poor customer service. No loyalty Lowes. District manager or General manager should be looked at for this poor customer relations policy.

Very helpful, friendly associate by the name of John, my husband and I felt he went above and beyond to help us. There was an issue with a gift card we were trying to use, wouldn't work at the self checkout and he opened a register to help us. The purchase was $600 and my husband and I were greatful for his help

This location is awful. The sign on the garden center entrance says that it’s open until 7. I’ve been there a few times before 5 and it’s closed and locked. I asked an employee walking past about it, he shrugged his shoulders and said “I dunno” and kept walking.Last time I went was the icing on the cake and the definite last time I will ever step foot in this particular location. After standing in line for 10 minutes at the self checkout due to only one self checkout register being open were being told “Sorry, it’s cash only here. You have to go to an actual register.”Where?! No actual registers are open!!! So they call an employee to the actual register and then the self checkout lady publicly berates this poor kid for several minutes about leaving the register.Oh but it gets better!!!! As soon as I walk away and get in line at the register behind the others that were turned away from self checkout… someone else walks up to self checkout and the self checkout woman says “Hi, you’re using a card? You can come over here to this register” and allows that person to use a previously “closed” self checkout.What gives? Horrible customer service. I’ll stick to locations where the employees actually value the customers.

8/18 Paid over 3k for fence materials and wasn't notified of delivery. Delivery was supposed to 8/20 they lied, sent me some materials that looks like it's their "defaulted" materials that needs to go back to manufacturer. Discolored, 4" and 5" pieces mixed in on panels, pieces unleveled on panels. Complete disaster. Called store manager and was hung up on. I am closing my account and all my relatives.

Customer service is bad and one guy with key to each department . Told the guy Brian in tools I needed a battery charger and few other things that was locked in cage and never came to help me but went helped other person that came up to him after I did so I stop his co worker to help and he told him also do to him not having a key to help me for the tools only Brian did still never came after 20 minutes waiting left I'll spend my money elsewhere. Need to either get more employees or train other to have keys to be able to help all departments.

We purchased couple item here and experience was amazing we purchased our washer and dryer and Sherry at the appliance department took care of us for every step she was very helpful and professional. I have gone there second time to see what my Blinds options for my window and Jasmine helped me out to chose my blinds and customize it the way that i needed it. Thank you definitely will come back again
