I shop at this Harris Teeter quite frequently and I usually have great service. Today however, I had extraordinary service because of my cashier, Nate. I told him that I wished good reviews gave him a raise. He understands how to bag items perfectly and is nice and polite. Someone give this guy a promotion!!

Roslyn and Ymani (and another Manager- first name A----) were extremely helpful with my return. It was a complicated promotional return that was very thought provoking to avoid over refunding. All three young ladies were professional and diligent in figuring it out. Thank you kindly for the great customer service.

I wanted to give a special thanks to Pam from the deli on 11/19/23 at about 10:30am. I asked for my usual pound pf pastrami shaved. She actually shaved my pastrami to perfection. There was an extra customer waiting and she acknowledged her advising someone would be with her momentarily. She is courteous, thoughtful, professional, and kind. What a phenomenal customer experience from beginning to end! Thank you again so very much again Ms. Pam you truly made my day brighter and are an immaculate example of what customers hope for!

Very nice store and people. My only complaint is they never have Chick-fil-A gift cards EVER! How can I get 4X fuel points when they don't sell the gift cards I need?

I work as a cashier at this store but I wanted everyone to know about the AMAZING job Dana did making my bonus child's birthday cake. When my boy saw his Pokeball cake, his eyes lit up and his smile was contagious. I even showed the two wonderful ladies (Ashley and Roslyn) at the customer service desk on my way out and they said it looked great!!!! Thank you, Dana, for making my boy's birthday one he won't forget!!!!

They need to upgrade this Harris Teeter. It's so basic. No pizza bakery.. no coffee.. nothing upscale at all. I thought Harris Teeter s were supposed to outshine the other grocery stores. Bread selection is really not good at all either. Come on Harris Teeter.. STEP IT UP!! EVERYTHING around you is doing great business. The business is there. Employees are always fantastic!! Have to say!! 💕

Yesterday I visited this Harris Teeter for the first time. The store was clean and well stocked. I decided to check out in the self service line. Ahead of me was a young Black man, who appeared to be making a quick stop to get something to drink. It looked like he had come from working outside and it was hot out. There was an older white man ahead of him, who kept making comments about how the young man had "cut" in line. I do not know the exact circumstances, but it looked like there was some type of misunderstanding and that perhaps the young man hadn't been aware that the older man was in line first, I didn't witness whatever happened prior to the disagreement. However, the older man was being loud and somewhat obnoxious and attempted to place his hands on the young man. This was unnecessary and the young man respectfully stepped back. I, a white female, walked up and stood next to the young man, as he was completely calm and I didn't want to see him end up in a potentially dangerous situation, due to his race and youth. The elderly white man continued to make loud comments. Finally, the young man stepped out of line and placed his drinks back into the beverage coolers and left. It left a very bad taste in my mouth. One thing that really bothered me was that no store employee, regardless of race, stepped in to resolve the conflict. The young man left the store with his head hanging. If an employee can reasonably explain what happened, I would like to hear it. However, until I see her something different, I do not plan to return to this store. The young man exercised self control and did not engage with the obnoxious older man. I believe that had the situation been reversed, it could have ended very differently and it was upsetting to witness. How do you suppose the young man felt after this interaction?Do better Harris Teeter!

2022 update. This is a great location for groceries especially if you need or want something a little bit better quality. Produce is always very good. The meat counters always have nice stock. The bakery is great too. I don't shop for everything at this store but when I want something special this is where I look. Store is always clean and well stocked. Staff was great as usual.

Great place to shop. They are well stocked and also carry a large variety of specialty items. Samples are always available to try. The deli sandwiches are huge and a great value. Impressed with the seafood selection. The staff are always friendly and courteous.

I had big order today and then got my cashier named Elijah , this young man was not only smiling, asked me if I found everything ok and then proceeded to ring up my items , what a pleasure to watch a professional young man at work , fish went with fish , meat separately, produce with produce, candy with candy , can goods with can goods , bananas treated with out the bounce and bruising they’re usually get , boxed dry goods with boxed dry goods OMG haven’t seen this in years , give this guy a raise and a promotion to train everyone, either way I want it know how good he is that I’m sitting in the parking lot before I leave to let you know how much I appreciated him … happy new year !!!

Stock doesn't take place until after opening. I have gone a few times and a lot of the sale items are not in place, missing, or they haven't been stocked yet. Setup is normal from other stores, but their produce is old/moldy at times. I have purchased expired items before, which I did not catch until getting home, so be sure to check the dates on items.Their check out lines could be quicker too. Too many times people are waiting in line to check out while other employees are just standing around the check out area. Ensure you check your grocery bags before leaving because I have left items behind as they were not placed in my cart after someone bagged them.

Mike in the Meat Dept. was Awesome!!! He cut the pork loin for me and gave me service with a smile. Waiting in two long lines to check out wasn't any fun, but the cashier was very nice which made up for it.

My favorite go to supermarket. The selections here are great. They even have local items to chose from. The meat and produce are exceptional as well. I particularly love the grocery pick-up service. They pick up your groceries and also put them in your vehicle for you. Perfect for busy, on the go people. Everyone I come across that works here is courteous, professional and always willing to answer any of my questions. I love this place!

Great store, wonderful people, very clean. Only store I have seen the milk use by date for 2 weeks, produce is fresh. The store is small enough so those with limited mobility can walk or use one of 10 electric carts. Meats are fresh. Overall this store is my main grocery store to stock my pantry once a week.

We just moved to Virginia & I usually shop at Kroger. I found this by pure accident & am very happy I did. This store has the best produce & meat. I haven't tried their bakery yet but everything looks amazing. Best customer service by far.

Clean and the food is kept fresh..great selection of fruit and veggies. The meat and seafood departments have a nice selection..the deli carries Boar's Head meats and cheese. The bakery makes fresh goods daily! The prices were reasonable but are a bit higher on canned and boxed foods..unless on sale or coupons. A nice parking area and friendly staff.

Staff is friendly. Great prices on food. Awesome reward program. Place is always clean. Open 24 hours with police on-site. Correction they are no longer open 24 but new hours are 6 am to 11 pm.

My last visit was very inviting, I had received several acknowledgements and salutations from the staff asking if I needed anything. At the time of checkout , Veronica was warm, friendly, fast and efficient again receiving a warm thank you and well wishes for a great day and holiday. I go to Harris Teeters to pick up items mostly, not to grocery shop. The flower dept is "THE BEST" in the area! A cute young lady name Olivia is unmatched for quality and customer service! Love Her! They have a really good deli, soup and salad bar! Really tasty chicken, good subs, awesome bakery, fresh produce dept and some of the best customer service in the area! The only negative, TO ME, are there high prices, especially now, being that they are not opened 24 hrs. anymore. But you can catch the daily sales and be satisfied with competitive prices. Its worth your visit!

I am a regular Harris Teeter customer, but only for certain things. Their fresh breads, they have some good cheeses (I love aged goudas), some good imported beers--all hard to find items in my neighborhood. Don't get me wrong, it's a great grocery store and everything they have is of the best quality. They are also the most expensive guys in town, by far. So, for most groceries I'll go to other stores, but for those things the others don't carry I'm incredibly grateful to have Harris Teeter close by.
