They need to do a little better keeping people distant from others because today some old trash walked up in me and started scanning her items before I left the check out and I started to sneeze on her he man woman hating self no respect for blacks having ash. This area is known for violence so stores should have things in place to keep disrespect like this from happening. Now if this ever happens again that poor trash will be mad at the reaction of her action

There are three Food Lions within a mile from my house and this is by far the best. The staff is friendly and the store is clean.

Great service and selections of items. I go for the Tillamook cheese they always have it in stock. The chicken from the deli is amazing check the date and time on tag so you get the most recently cook fresh out the grease deliciously priced chicken!

Today is Sunday October 8th....my husband and I went into this establishment to purchase cabbage heads and beef smoked sausage because the employees at the Chesapeake Square Walmart basically refused to help us... while in Food Lion a young lady was nice enough to not just help us find some but brought down every box on her cart just to find what we needed.... kudos and bravo to this young lady's kindness and respect for her great customer service

This store has gone downhill! The produce is hit or miss…mostly miss…And fruits and veggies are not cheap! Fuji apples looked horrible when I cut into them. Very disappointed.

This one is clean, and the majority of staff are friendly and helpful. The people at the deli and butcher shop always go the extra mile to get the things I'm looking for.They've also recently added self checkout lanes, which really help get people in and out.

Being from out of town, we felt like the food lion was family. Grocery list in hand we found every item needed for a short stay. Staff was totally focused on customer service, led by an older lady in customer service and helped much by a young man named Gary or glen?

Disappointed in the staff of this location. Since installing the self-service lanes, the clerks have become rude and insulting to the customers. Got a taste today. Is this a trick? Probably. But the joke is on them. Ha Ha Ha. Will definitely no longer help any of the employees with shopping cart retrieval or loading the belt a certain way to help with bagging at the register. Nope. The employees will do ALL of the work from now on. Today is the end of Nice Spice to these folks. BTW: The manager needs a new 'do. The meatball on top isn't a good look.

great neighborhood grocery storethey just need to put workers back behind the register .the scan urself register always have issues and be backed up.otherwise they have good sales and fresh produce and fruits and fresh c I think meats

So happy you got the self checkouts!! Now I don’t have to look at the sour face and the no thank you no hello no nothing from the little girl on the register with the cigarettes! She hates her job!! I said thank you just to see if she would speak and she didn’t say a word back to me. Proceeded to check out the next customer! 4/18/23 5:44pm Her name tag was covered by her coat.

Great experience ya'll 🙏 I've been ill and I needed a cart- it was there; needed Sanitizing wipes-they were there; needed more wipes lets while I was in the store, they were there; needed help in the dairy department she was there! I had a "Ragu Sauce " experience 😁😆 you know...it's in there🤣🤣

I shop here often.they usually have a decent selection and their produce is decent compared to some of the other food retailers in town. They recently added self checkout to their store and I like that a lot. I'd rather ring up and bag my own groceries so it's a plus for sure for me. The associates are always real friendly and helpful if u need anything they will go out of their way to assist u.

This is one of my favorite food lion. It is a very clean store. I am disabled and they always have a riding cart. The employees are very nice especially the manager that helped me yesterday. Kind friendly clean service. I will be shopping here weekly for the great sales they have as well.
