Not even the least little bit impressed, They aren't very professional and lack people skills, you cant request the same groomer for your pet every time and even if you could they wouldn't contact you to let you know if the groomer you requested didn't come to work that day you would have to contact them to find out for yourself the day of the appointment. I wanted to fill out all the information that they required in advance to my appointment as I had two dogs to handle on the appointment day and that was a problem for them. It's all about their convenience not yours.Your memory is mistaken, At PetSmart the person that groomed my dogs for over 5 years left and at Port Rover their groomer kept calling out so they were going to consider discontinue the grooming part of their services. As for four dogs I only do two dogs at a time, two dogs one month and the other two the next month so you basically lost 4 clients at one time and two paying clients the appointment day that I came in with my dogs, if I could have asked you questions at the time that I made the appointment if would have saved both of us time and you money because would have been able to give the two appointments that I had to someone else . As for recommendations from you that's a hard pass.

Paula and her staff have the magic hands. She can do any cut! I’ve trusted her for the last 7 years with my furry babies and she ALWAYS delivers. The love and care she shows them is remarkable. Paula will decorate with a bow for your girl and a handkerchief for your boy. Holiday time she will go above and beyond! Thank you guys for always being consistent throughout the years!!

My dog and I had a wonderful experience at The Dog House today. Willow can be easily stressed and I had my doubts that they would be able bathe and brush her and comb out mats all in one day, so I was pleasantly surprised that they got it done in just a couple of hours. And she looks amazing! The person at the front desk was friendly and came around to greet Willow and was very comforting, and the owner also came out and introduced herself. Willow seems to have enjoyed her short stay, and her sister will hopefully have a great visit when she goes tomorrow. We will definitely be going back.

I have bringing my poodles two dog house since the Dog House Began to exist:-) many many years I started each one at six weeks years old on their grooming regime and so now they love going to dog house! I too love dog house I highly recommend them for your pet of any sort!

I am a long time customer and have taken my last two pups for grooming there. Their rates are reasonable and they always do a great job with the bath, cut, nail care, and flea treatment.

Our SP was very dirty and way past his grooming time. He had matted in spots. But they did a very good job with him . When he was picked up, he wasn't traumatized or having his " you betrayed me" looks. He was happy and had great to ime. First time we've used Dog House and she took him in quickly for us. Very satisfied with our boy!

Small shop. Called for an appointment on Wednesday, next available was Friday at 10:00 am. Arrived at 9:50 am on Friday with proof of rabies vaccination. Was informed my 11 month old Australian Shepard would be done at 3:00 pm. Five hours for a nail trim and a bath! I arrived early, 2:45 pm and was informed she would be ready in 15 min. Cost was $33. When I examined my dog, she did feel like she had a bath but there was some dirt on face from her tears, and the tiny sticky dirt on her front paws was still there. Not too pleased with the service. The hair ball behind her ear was still there, but I guess that was a service I did not ask for. I was also informed that my dog was in need of obedience training. I would have felt better if he had told me there was a hair ball behind her ear. I don't recommend this place.

We have taken our Black Lab there for 5 years. When we mention that it is time for a bath he runs to the door. We love taking him there because we know he will be well cared for. They do a fabulous job and he absolutely loves going to them. When you find something good there is no reason to look any further. I have recommended The Doghouse to many of my friends. They have been pleased and are continuing to take their pets there also.

Very pleased. I have been taking my toy poodles to the same groomer/vet for 7 years and was apprehensive about switching to a groomer closer to home. Hours are great, staff is friendly and the groomer herself has been at this location for over 25 years. Paula House (groomer) was very pleasant and did a wonderful job. Both dogs came out looking beautiful and acting very happy.

I've been going here for over a year now and I've always loved their services and the prices were not bad for the requests. All of a sudden being a return customer means absolutely nothing and the price went up by $20 for nothing much out of what I've previously asked for and they didn't care whatsoever and said that's the cost! Nearly $100! On a shi-poo dog! This is our last appointment. Looking for another grooming service who values loyal customers.

This was my first time there, It was recommended by nephew 2 yrs ago. They are great, I took my pit there for her nails trimmed and my chorkie as well. They did the bath, you can feel it, but I thought that my chorkie would have gotten a hair cut, but they didnt, so sad for herNow I have to find a place to cut her hair for me. But overall it was great. I love the coziness of entering like a house.

I've been here a couple of times before and everything was great. Today i picked my dog up and his face and ears were not as i wanted them. Still plenty of hair. I mentioned this to the young lady and she told me they did the best that they could. Really?? She was young so i don't know if she was even experienced because i never had a problem anywhere else. I chose to go back to them because it's closer to where i moved but I see that was a mistake. Looks like I'll be looking for another groomer that will get my poohbear right. Now still have to go spend more money to get his face and ears trimmed up.

Picked up my dog yesterday from being groomed, first visit. I should have looked at her prior to leaving. The main thing I needed was nails clipped and paws trimmed good. The nails dont look like they have been cut a tf all and the fur on the paws is so haphazardly cut it looks like a 5yr old cut them.***received a phone call to bring her back in for fixing the paws and they were super nice about it. Not many places will do that so I'm a happy customer***

Small cute adorable place. I have a super hyper active dog that takes alot of attention and care. Dropped her off for 4 hours and they took absolute great care of her. Every time I call they provide wonderful customer service... Walking in they cared more about the animal vs the human. Couldn't ask for a better place.... But thats not all... My 2 year old Australian sheppard was groomed, cleaned brushed and well take care of for 38 dollars.... Yes I said that right... 38 freaking dollars! Petsmart wanted over 120..... 120 dollars?!?! And this wonderful place did it for less than a 3rd.... Same care, wonderful treatment and my baby looked amazing. HIGHLY recommended place... Thank you for such wonderful service... Will be visiting frequently. Stay away from the greedy chain stores and check out the dog house for grade A service for you pet

We have a very VERY hard to groom dog - a Wheaten Terrier. We are so lucky to have found this groomer. The owner grooms our dog and she's an EXPERT at grooming our Wheaten. They are super nice and gentle with the dogs. You can tell that all the people there love animals. Top notch professionals. They've been grooming our dog since he was a puppy. We'll never go anywhere else!

Today was my dog Oddie's first visit to the Dog House and it was a great experience for him. He was treated so kindly, he has never been groomed before outside of us doing it at our house and I was nervous dropping him off and having to come back and get him but the women working there took such good care of him and he came out looking, smelling, feeling like a new handsome boy!! I will definitely be taking Oddie back to The Dog House from here on out.

My collies visit the Dog House every month, or more! We call it the Spa. Paula and every single person there is compassionate and friendly. My collie girls love going there. I have a rough coated, a smooth coated, and a boarder collie mix. They have NEVER experienced any nicks or other physical trauma. They are the ONLY place I trust.

I have done business with this company for almost a decade and to any of you dependas out there tanking the google reviews because "Maury" isn't on yet, claiming "The Dog House" is not the best, you are kidding yourselves. This outfit is super clean and loves animals so much that the mere mention of their name sends my dog into a happy smile-spin. Thank you for being there for us.
