This is one of the few “ethical” antique stores that are out there - actually caring about history and preservation of provenance. I love that the rooms and displays are thoughtful curated, objects are clean and the owner was extremely friendly when we visited, even if it was close to close!

This is a must stop in Port Royal, a friendly antique shop with lots of interesting goodies! Lots of vintage, actual antique and primitive items! The (new) owners of 2.5 years have transformed this shop to a must see!!!

Very helpful staff! Came in the other day and was taught a little history about the place; it used to be a motel and was built back in tge 40s-neat! There's so much to look at, definitely think about stopping by!

Excellent service, both owners are awesome people.I bouth few time here, and always finishing with a big smile.My old kellorgs telephone and now my Emerson tube radio are in excellent shape.All the items are top notch.Dont hesitate to stop and talk with the owners worth every minute!Glad to know that there are still store like this!

Great little.. well not that little antique store. Great fair prices. Mostly old niknaks that will carry you back to your grand parents home and garage. Old toys even some I didnt even know they made. Staff was very friendly and helpful. I would reccomend the Minnow Bucket to everyone who loves antiques. This isnt an antique furniture store they do have some. And make sure you say hello to there ghost that roam the halls.

Took a drive down towards Tappahannock with the Port Royal area being a quick stop on the way. We had a great time hunting for treasure in The Minnow Bucket Antiques Shop, and chatting with the proprietor. Although it is not a huge antique mall, there is a good mix of antiques, ephemera, books, advertising, LP's and vintage bric-a-brac. Items are displayed well and prices are fair. If you're in the area, it's worth a visit! We'll definitely return.
