Wow!!! Great experience!!! The employees were so helpful and patient!!! Helped me find everything I needed!! Bathrooms were very clean too! I seen the manager, Ms Shirley, and she didn't mind talking for a minute even though she seemed busy😃The cashier, Christine, was very sweet and funny also😂I think I found me a new store to shop at. That store is awesome in Petersburg😍😍😍

I understand there is a shortage on workers but George was rude and I remained patient and tried to be understanding but no matter how many people your down customers should still be able to do returns, exchanges, refunds and sales. If you are unable to provide all the services then close the doors for the day. Rude should never be an option when dealing with the public you chose to work in retail dealing with the public so do your and remain professional.

Hello allI Was just racially profiled at this location here in Petersburg Virginia for having a backpack as a purse I use from my daily life , I was in this store with my mom and I told my mom that I would be back and go off to look at some clothes and I was stopped by this (white) lady and was told that I can’t have that in here walking around and to report to the front because I had a backpack which is my purse,and I told the lady that I would go tell my mom and before we could get the the front good enough the lady (African American)(Donna)on the register close to the door gets on the loudspeaker and says the person with the backpack come to the front. Mind you I was the only female with a purse backpack in there and have been coming to this location for many months and has never had a problem. The store manager ( Mrs Phillis) was very nice and caring and helpful in this situation and said she would handle it from there . As a African female and I did not feel safe in that situation. April 6th 2022 On a Wednesday 2:15 pm.

This is a very nice Rose's!! It is clean and well organized. Clothing is hung so you can move and look through it, not all jumbled up. Great sales! Staff is courteous and helpful!

The employees working the cashier were very efficient and courteous while their Manager Shirley is discussing things that should be discussed in a team meeting. I am currently in line with 9 other customers and Shirley has yet to open another register to get the crowd down and the people out of her store since we are to practice Social Distancing. The only thing she could offer was Thank you for being patient. Kudos to the staff and a big thumbs down to Shirley the Manager got being very unprofessional.

Always a great experience..until today. Witnessed unpleasant and disrespectful conversation between a cashier who was preparing to leave, "George", the manager (and indirectly, his paying customers). After crudely directing her to reopen her register, he states "That's what happens when a lot of people come in 10mins before closing thinking they can get fast service". Store was full of senior citizens. The cashier was very professional; the MANAGER, not at all. I do not think that behavior would be tolerated in Mechanicsville or Midlothian.

Customer service was poor. I had to call for an employee to unlock the bathroom 3 times. Good thing it was not an emergency! The cashier took a very long time to ring me up due to talking to others while I was at the register....

Roses is a very different kind of retailer where you can find all kinds of different pieces from home deco,kitchen, clothes, seasonal merchandise and even shoes. They have hidden treasure with great prices if you like that idea. So stop in and shop.

laundry mat, and upgraded version as far as size wise of Family Dollar. They still sell cheap products as well as old outdated products and cheap electronics and other items from china. They have electronics and other products that aren't as bad but they are scarce. Most of their products are poorly made and inexpensive and break after a few uses. You get what you pay for. You can also find products from other countries and a few american made products here but dont expect the best quality.

One of the female employees got me a cart when I was carrying to much and one of the male employees got me a item from one of the locked showcase. The cashier was Outstanding as well, Roses has great customer service!!

You would never know that this store has recently opened. It's very crampt and it looks like all they. Did was paint the walls of the old store. Same floors same everything the staff acts like you're and inconvenience.
