Their prices and quality are wonderful, especially for the volume and size of their store. And it feels great being able to support local businesses. This is a bright happy place and Mrs. Raines is a delight. They sell everything for the serious gardener and probably more than a few farmers. Outside they stock things like fence wire and posts and vegetable seedlings and beautiful flowering perennials. Inside there is a floral shop with live arrangements which are always appreciated. You leave with the impression that that you just met some of the nicest people around.

I know Larry personally. We have been friends for years and are old CB radio buddy's. Him and his wife are good people. The best prices, and he will answer any of your questions. I like to spend my money on a local business. I will ALWAYS get my garden supplies from him and his wife. She is one of the nicest people I've ever met. So polite. He will help you anyway he can. Nothing but good vibes when you walk in. I've never gone in there without being spoken to. I encourage everyone to buy from him. Forever a loyal customer and friend.

Mrs.Raines is the sweetest person I have ever spoken to over the phone. I called her to see if she sold compost & she told me she didn't but gave me some numbers to call. You can't leave here without having a smile on your face. The owners are genuine and always happy to see every customer. This truly is hospitality at its finest and other businesses could learn a bit from them. They have hunting dog food, farm feed, garden supplies, candles, flowers/hand crafted flower bouquets that are beautiful, among many other items a country store would have. They special order my dogs food, as he has allergies, and got me a great deal on a good grain free dog food. I highly recommend at least stopping by, even if it is just to leave with a smile, you won't be disappointed. :-)
