Great selection of meats. Prices Not too bad, canned goods seem to be much higher. Just depends on what you need. Haven't tried their prepaird food yet.

Small down home country store with a great eating area as well. They have food to order as well as hot food already prepared. Staff are always nice, polite and knowledgeable. I work for a group home and bring one of my individuals in to pick up lunch. He is always welcomed by the staff and made to feel special. Grocery store has a little bit of everything and prices are affordable.

I used to go all the time a few years ago. It was great. Sometimes hectic but the deli did a super job at tracking orders. I went in today and it was not busy at all. One person in front of me. One lady came to the glass and just stared at me really quick and as I said hello she dipped away and started doing something else. So I waited for another couple of minutes. This time a younger lady greeted the 2 good ole boys behind me in line with "what can I get you fellas?" Never once acknowledging me. The two guys proceeded to order. None of them even considered asking me have I been helped or nothing. This was straight up disrespectful. Instead of voicing myself, because I have no problem with being heard and demanding respect I simply walked away with not wanting their service anyways. I'll keep my $15 and go home after work and cook my own pork chop. I should've taken some photos lol.

Pretty good prices for a mom and pop store such as this. They have a good selection of products and the price is comparable to large chains. They have smoked meat which is a rarity and surprised me a good bit. I never had a problem with any of the employees either. Its fast to get checked out. Faster than chains that are 20 times larger and have one lane open. That much is for sure.

I love this store. It's small and old fashion, but I always find everything I'm looking for. The have great country ham, and there supply is always impressive, plus I can buy pieces to cook with. They have fresh collards and kresses during the thanksgiving and Christmas session. The staffs is always friendly and helpful.

Went to have some propane tanks refilled. The people were pleasant and moved the line along. The price was good (under $4/gal). I also enjoy the food.

Wow Produce Center use to be a great store but since new owners took over, its down here. And that deli since Marie left, its nasty the employees are nasty and they are unsanitary. I went to get a breakfast and I watched as the handle others food, with the virus running rampant, none of the employees behind the counter have on mask, none if them wear gloves while handling the food, wow. If you want to get customers this is not the way, they ran me off after seeing that. One lady just gave a man a folk that was uncovered with her bare hands,ewww. How after seeing this does anyone know these nasty women wash their hands. Do yourself a favor, if you want good food with clean clerks who are handling yoyr food, go to Mrs Geda's Kitchen on Commerce St. In Petersburg Virginia

It was a nice little store with that country store feel.... Employees made you feel welcomed. The only thing that I didn't like was that the items were a little more pricey than I expected. Overall though, the store was great and I rated it asfour (4) stars. ****

Normally the service is good but,this time the cashier was rude and charged me 9.00 for 3 boxes of cereal that was discounted to 5.50. The red stickers was on the boxes and she never looked at them. She was nasty until I pointed out the stickers.

Prices were way too high. Produce was very old and almost looked close to rotten. A frozen item that sells for $3 at Food Lion costs over $5 here. Outrageous prices. Food Lion is cheaper and less than 2 miles away.

Thumbs down...Food was the worst. My ribs was cold, like they just came out of the refrigerator, hamburger with gravy was terrible, my cornbread was dry and over cooked, mash potatoes was lumpy, the green beans was ok. Expensive for no reason. Almost $13.00 that I did not eat. I dont understand how they sell food, southern food at that. Oh the staff had great service though. The best thing about my meal was the Pepsi. Oh and not to mention, a cup of ice was $.55 cents. SMH I will never eat from there again.

Great country store featuring many home grown items. Deli is oh so delicious. Always depend on them for great ham, half ham, season meat and you absolutely get the feel of country. Fair selection of meats and usually reasonably priced. I would recommend trying to make it an every week spot for full grocery shopping. Outside of the Deli and Meats, the groceries are a little pricey. You will benefit by coming here with a direct purpose of meats or immediate hunger and go to your grocery store of choice for other bargains.

Bought meats only to get home and discover they were outdated. Called the store and spoke to the owner. He swore I was reading the date wrong, even when I told him they smelled awful. He finally agreed to return my money. He was extremely unpleasant. I won't shop here again.
