I live down the road from here, so I go here pretty frequently. They have two self-checkout kiosks which I use all the time because this location is very understaffed and they're constantly firing and hiring employees. I rarely see the same person working here for long. The store is pretty easy to navigate, and employees will usually help you if you have any questions, but because of how inconsistent this place is, your experience could be different. It's a good place to get snacks and supplies and there's a gas station right beside it as well, so it makes for a great stop off of I-95.

My one star isn't for the cashier, she did her best. There were 20 people if not more in line and he other person there straight up said i'm off the clock and let her drown like that. Anyone with a sliver a decency would have got back on the resgister.Shes lucky i wasn't a secret shopper

Due to a Management change this store is now horrible. Store Manager Bonnie is rude to customers constantly on her cell phone even when ringing up customers. The store is NEVER stocked the stock is on carts all over the store blocking isles or shoved into the back room. Store Manager Bonnie also has a habit of disconnecting card readers so that the store can only do cash sales but this problem only occurs when Store Manager Bonnie is working. If you value your time or yourself as a customer don't bother shopping here because whatever you want is probably out of stock. Unfortunately this store does not have a Redbox movie rental like many of the other stores do.

2622 Courtland Rd. VA is the worst managed store! I live in a rural area and was happy that this store was now here but it does no good being here. The inventory is never consistent. There are always numerous boxes and carts in the aisles causing customers to bump into, trip on them, and have to maneuver around them while trying to shop. The freezers are never completely working or stocked. Outdated milk is left in them. They are always understaffed causing long lines with an even longer wait time. The debit machine has been broken for weeks and instead of getting it fixed they make customers “insert card twice then swipe” taking up even more time after waiting in a long line. Customers who require the use of a chip are basically out of luck. If you only have one terminal that works completely, why not use the working one when having only one register open??? I waited in line for almost 30 mins only to have to leave to go to ATM and come back which I decide against. I will just take the trip to Walmart from now on because this store offers no convenience.

This store is pretty bad, I am not from this area,I am living here for a short period of time for work. I stop by occasionally for a few items I forgot to get at the grocery store. Everytime I come to the store the staff is constantly cussing about their boyfriend or their fellow employees and it doesn't stop when a customer comes near them. The only times it's difficult to hear them cussing is when every employee in the store is hanging out the back door smoking and you are standing at the cash register waiting to pay for your items

Easy to find items, staff always helpful. Only store we actually have within a 15-20 min drive so when you need something g or forget something it's nice to be able to just run up there

Teresa came from the north prince George store and is so amazing at the store she has helped back this store so much better I shop here all the time and I walk in and no matter how bad my day can be going her smile on her face makes a difference she is amazing

It's too messy, employees helpful but my goodness stuff everywhere. The store has good selection nice price just too darn messy. I am never going to try this place again.

This is one of the few Dollar General's around that is always well stocked without merchandise blocking up all of the aisles. The employees are always very friendly and helpful.

Ashley, who is fantastic, was working all by herself. Dollar general should have at least two people working at all times. Ashley was getting it done, very quick and friendly!!

They sell defective cigarettes, and electronic products and wont let you return them and when I called corporate they were useless in rectifying the issue I'll will no longer shop there.

Only at dollar General can a young man come in and try to buy blunts or what's ever kids smoke and have no idea and the cashier tells him to go get someone with an it to come buy them... just another reason the world is going to heck..
