This store serves 90% retirees and is doing a good job keeping affordable items on hand. Important also, is keeping a real check out person on at least 2 registers. Hard for many to stand very long, let alone walk around to get what they need.

A small Walmart. They have self checkouts and a deli and bakery though it is small . None of the staff talked to me so not to friendly. An okay place to go for a quick shopping trip.

One of the friendliest Walmart stores I've visited!! Help is often offered, or easy to find if I have questions. Store is always clean, as are the restrooms and parking lot!! It's nice to see friendly faces every time I am in this store!!

By far the worst Walmart I’ve ever been to. Rudest workers by far. They lied about me apparently stealing something so far as to take it to the store manager just for it to be proved that I didn’t. Worst experience by far!

One of those small towns still left in America where you can get out of your car, and leave your windows down, and doors unlocked. I went in almost every store in the strip with Walmart. It has the nicest people anywhere you'll ever go! It's the kind of town you want to find where you can still raise a family and not worry about crime. It takes me back to my younger years where I found things to be uncomplicated and simple. Not far from New River. It's very scenic. It felt like down home!

First time living in a small town. Walmart is tiny... but it has everything you need. The employees are friendly. Pick-up is available and has been prompt and friendly. The only negative thing for me is that it's very hard to find products. It's not set up the same as the bigger walmarts. I'll figure it out, though! Delivery needs to be added, please 🙏 🙂

I hate leaving 1 star reviews but this is the worst Walmart I’ve ever been in. I’ve heard Giles county people are rude and never understood it until I came in here. The store is set up nicely but most of the workers are super rude

I am from India and I am going to Walmart any time they’re looking Main everybody and the manager Noncy this mean to me talking hi ma’am, so then they not give a response anytime and this register number 4 the whole time and she give me a hard time all the time can you change in the manager in Night Shift please and then give me some main manager number we need to talk to and some man manager in the Walmart Pearisburg

Purported low prices are not worth it in the long run. Demoralized, underpaid employees & insanely bad management result in a very bad experience for loyal paying customers. This company destroyed the competition & replaced it with the absolute dregs of commerce. You simply can't do worse than Walmart.

I do not ever get excited about visit this place! Hope they want forget to send me my W-2's at the end of the year for checking myself out!😱 Be sure to check your receipt if you use self checkout. Bought 4 of one item and somehow got charged for five, and I very clearly remember just scanning four!

I did the online shopping for the first time and pick up time was 6pm-7pm I gotta say it was easy and the employees were pretty quick on bringing my groceries out to us!

Walmart is Walmart, and since Google keeps shoving at me to review them I will.Self service while convenient and fast, sucks. I hate today's age Walmart has at most one line open and a long line for the self checkout. Especially with this small Walmart in Giles co, it's not big like Cburg or Radfords Walmart and has limited self checkouts. While only opening the small checkout with the tobacco. It's just a hassle to self checkout more than 20 items!

They had just what I was looking for and seemed courteous. Prices aren't too bad they also have the grocery side of it too. My wife and I recently ordered some pictures from our phone camera here. Great price and the photos were outstanding, thumbs up WALMART 👍👍👍

Good location for your grocery needs. Makes living in small town much easier. Staff are friendly (mostly), so don't be afraid to ask them anything. However, as tradition with a place as big as Walmart, you're gonna encounter a few oddities, like misplaced groceries, smashed cakes, broken seals, etc. As long as you dont expect 100% perfection, you'll be alright.

Normally I am pleased with most of the times I go there. There was a couple of things they were out of but it's to be expected since this store is one of the smaller Walmarts. I went at the perfect time evidently because they weren't busy. 🙂I get my prescriptions at Walmart so this was a quick visit to get that. Nothing has really changed. Everyone is very nice and helpful.

They've got a lot to choose from but they definitely need to hire more people, especially cashiers. For probably the biggest grocery/retail giant in the world, this is unacceptable! Check out times are too often too long. The sales associates over in grocery were very proactive in friendly with me though.

Little disàppointed that the work of the associates (at no fault of theirs) has been placed on consumer, (hence self checkouts), but associates stand right on top of you inspecting every move making you feel like a criminal. All associates providing assistance have been very knowledgeable, helpful, and courteous though. 5-stars to them, especially night crew.

As usual...I do not get paid to check myself out nor do I get an employee discount, and I feel like I am taking someone's job if I am tempted to do so. With that being said...waited in the checkout line. Did I find what I was looking for.. No..but will I go again..Yes, because there's really no other options.

They are always looking for better ways to improve. If prices are wrong, they are happy to assist upon request. Sometimes people in other areas help you find something or they get someone stat. They are lenient, friendly and love children. Their pharmacy is the friendliest and most educated you can find.
