Very pleasant and helpful people and the store is kept clean and you can see and tell the workers take pride in the work that they are doing. I would recommend this store to Anyone and if you ask any of the employees for help they seem like they are always welcome to help you. I would rather shop here than Walmart anyday for my food The only issue the I have is I wish it would be more American products but now a days I suppose that is asking a lot. Highly recommend !

Went to get groceries everything was fine. Got in line to check out and the girl working there had no idea what she was doing. She messed our whole total up for groceries. I had to go to a manager and have them refund my money and ring my food up all over again. By the time I got home my meats were warm and my ice cream was completely melted.

Usually pretty clean, the shelves are normally stocked pretty good, but other than that prices are extremely high :-( but that's Joe biden's fault, not food Lion so I can't blame them

Nice place, good clean store. Very cheap groceries compared to the NY metro area (but slightly more expensive beer). We bought a full cart of food for under $100, pretty amazing.We came about 10:30 pm, half an hour before closing, and left slightly after 11 pm ( their official closing time), and no one said anything to hurry us up. Just the opposite, nice people, polite service, great prices.We'll be happy to come again.

I loved working there until getting hurt. I have a few bad things to say is you do not get treated right or respectfully there tell people with disabilities if you don’t learn faster even when not trained right we can’t make you learn to count. Very disrespected and they make people get carts that physically cannot. We get told they don’t do doctors notes. They make elderly who takes very long to get the carts go out who limp the whole time they are doing it. There’s people who bully others they get to keep their job and remove the people who report them. When someone gets hurt they are supposed to do a report with the employee but instead fill out the thing without you with no info that’s needed to be put in there. Been really thinking about getting a lawyer. If you fix the issues in these stores and buy an electric cart pusher and treat employees better you wouldn’t lose anyone. I’m sorry I’m putting this on here but I feel that corporate needs to know about these issues. It’s so much that goes on that you don’t know.

During our visit to Food Lion we found the store to be clean and very well stocked. We found everything we came for. However the prices are high, as with most things these days. Employees were friendly and helpful.

Store organized pretty decent for the most part. Definitley no a Kroegers by any means but for what choices are here it is one of the better food lions we have. Just dont be in a rush! Grab your groceries and WAIT in the few register lines that are open...

Found most of what I needed. Pretty clean and the cashiers were pleasant. I wish they carried White Grape Seltzer water that our Food Lion carried but they didn't. Otherwise it was a good experience.

Best food lion on the lower Eastern Shore. Clean and quiet. Easy on and off access. One has a stoplight the other is a yield. Clean parking, ample parking for campers, tractor trailers and normal vehicles, staff is friendly and will help.

This store is in an older building but the inside is clean and bright; it looks like new. The aisles are wide and the shelves were orderly. The deli meats selection is a bit limited, but I'm from the Philly area so my expectations are high in this regard. Overall, if I lived in the area I would certainly make this Food Lion my preferred supermarket.

This is certainly a good alternative to Wal-Mart. The pricing is fairly competitive, they always seem to have good deals on the meat and Dairy. Their produce section is not incredibly large, they have some pretty nice offerings. the staff is fair and courteous and have gone out of their way in the past to help my grandmother load her groceries due to her mobility issues without question. If you have not shopped here, I would strongly suggest doing so, while you're at it and make sure to grab an MVP card.

A fine grocery store I shop at quite frequently. Many excellent sales are available to MVP members and the staff is friendly and efficient. One small complaint would be that, though the deli is supposed to be open until 9pm, if the floor is being mopped- whether it be 8:55 or 8:23- there will be no more deli service that night.

Usually I have nothing bad to say about this store. Today at the Deli though I waited a couple minutes till someone came to counter from fridge. An older woman having her masks hanging from 1 ear approached and started working on something directly in front of me. She never acknowledged me and I had to go to service desks to have someone come over and help me.

Overpriced. Above local market pricing. Better selection than Walmart on some things. All of the tags for every item and its MVP price and regular price and sale price simply wear the eyes out; it's so busy to the human eye that I simply stopped going there.

Clean, Fully stocked, good variety, produce is fresh. I would really enjoy a selection from local farmers. Everyone is genuinely amicable, this makes for a pleasant shopping experience.

Moved to the Eastern Shore a year and a half ago. Food Lion is the best place to shop for groceries. They are almost always in stock of items I shop for and the staff is Fabulously friendly and hard workers.

This store is the complete opposite of it's fellow Food Lion down the road in Exmore. If I weren't wearing a mask, people would have wondered why my mouth was hanging wide open in shock.⭐The parking lot was free of litter and shopping carts! And there wasn't a group of employees hanging outside smoking 🙌⭐The produce was FRRRRESH, the cool alcove helps I'm sure, but EMPLOYEES make it what it is, and it shows that they KNOW what their doing, AND they take pride in it.⭐The entire store seemed to sparkle! Was clean, stocked, shelves were fronted.⭐And the young black man at the register not only greeted me but was friendly! We had a nice conversation about how to tell when a cantaloupe is ripe.As a former Food Lion employee of 13 years, it was sooo nice to experience this store. You've got a new customer, it'll be worth the drive from Exmore.⭐It takes a great leader to create a team and every person makes this store great.

It is simply OK since my new house is located in Middle Earth (another name for towns like Janesville located on the Eastern Shore of Virginia) and it is the only grocery store that one could consider close by. (Less than 15 miles from my home) .

Will not use Instacart again!! They substitute items ordered with higher priced items! I ordered body wash and they substituted it with hair conditioner!! Ridiculous and I did not get my items at MVP price!

Well laid out. I was totally impressed with the refrigerated produce section, I thought i was in a beer cooler. The prices were just a lil more than I have been paying all around and I balked at some items I needed.

Customer service is non-existent.Stand at counter: at least 5 minutes with no acknowledment.Get in line and wait: they cant help me. Told to wait for managerManager says she will be right there.... Continues to check out customers, leaves her aisle light on. Wait another 5Finishes her line: disappears....Go somewhere else.
