I was on hold for the pharmacy for 1 hour. It's ridiculous. I understand being busy, but this is unbelievable. I even called the front of the store, trying to get assistance with no change in outcome.

If I could give them less than one star I would. The attitude, sheer laziness and inefficiency at this location is astounding. Transferring one prescription has taken 3+ days, 2 visits and multiple phone calls and still no result - was told to call back again in 30 minutes.

I find it difficult to give one star but zero was not an option. I was on hold for 25 minutes before the phone disconnected . In past I have been notified prescriptions were ready a number of times and always had to wait or not able to pickup. I will have new pharmacy tomorrow but for people who still want this to be their pharmacy please your employees need help!!!!

If I could give this CVS a ZERO stars I would. The service is absolutely terrible. When you fill a prescription it seems as if they don’t start working on it until you get there. Even if you have called it in multiple days ahead of time. Without fail I ALWAYS wait extended periods of time. The last straw was when they never notified me that they were out of my rx and needed to order it. I had one pill left before I found out by looking online. I had finally had enough and had them forward my prescriptions to another pharmacy. I went to the new pharmacy the next day and no doubt, they never forwarded them. I waited for 30 minutes before driving over there to figure out why they hadn’t sent them and EVERYONE in the pharmacy was extremely rude. When I first started going there it was great but it has drastically gone downhill in the last few years.

This review is for the pharmacy only, NOT the front end of the store- Awwwfulllll! They don't answer phones so don't bother calling. Employees are awful communicators. Just go to Walmart, save yourself the frustration. Hopefully they'll get better management and an entirely new team someday.

I was trying to explain my situation and the pharmacist was rude to me today and said that she didn't want to hear it I didn't have 40 minutes to wait and I am not sure if I can get down there tomorrow but but I was treated poorly I never got a call saying that I had a medication ready at all and yet they said they didn't want to hear it I am thinking about taking my services elsewhere

Before the bad rating let us remember that the folks working there are nice. The problem is that they are understaffed and spread too thin as with their duties. Cashiers are being made toDo do covid shots. I called the store manager and she remedied the problem. All CVS in all states are this way. Way too big pharma with greed as their goal. We are switching.

This is the worst pharmacy on the Eastern Shore of Virginia. Someone from the Main office needs to come down here and look into how poorly this pharmacy is ran. Nobody answers the phone. I put a prescription in on Friday 9/23/22, and I was told that it would be ready on Monday 9/26/22. I went to pick it up on 9/28/22 and the prescription wasn't ready. It wasn't that they didn't have the medicine. They didn't have time to fill it. I have a seizure disorder, I can't go without my medicine. This pharmacy is terrible

This is the WORST CVS EVER!!! Why does it take a full business week to fill a prescription!? They need to shut this pharmacy location down for good. Stay away from this CVS pharmacy at all costs! You'll end up dying while waiting for your medication. They don't have any sense of urgency whatsoever when it comes to people who depend on medication. DO NOT GO TO THIS PHARMACY on Lankford Hwy(route 13) in Onley, Virginia.

The Pharmacy employees are worked like dogs and I don't think the company big wigs care one iota. This does trickle down and lowers customer service, however I don't blame the workers. They are obviously doing the very best they can and I commend them for not going postal.

I was told three times over the course of four hours that my prescription was in the process of being filled. Finally they told me they didn’t have the drug at all. I couldn’t contact another pharmacy because it was too late. Before you tell someone you are working on filling their order you should tell them whether or not you have the medication on hand. That should be standard practice for any pharmacy. I will not get things filled here again. Will go back to smaller mom and pop pharmacies where I know what they say is what they mean.

Like right now I’m on the phone with you all I sit for over 45 mins on hold. I go to the drive through and of course it’s closed. It’s taking over a week at times to get meds filled. None of our meds go on auto refill. There is meds we need or we can have heart attacks and more stuff and it’s always said we don’t have enough help. Well someone from corporate needs to hire more people or get this place in shape. If you can’t fix this than your going to wind up getting sued by people. We need our meds you can’t keep making us go with out them especially blood pressure medicine and stuff like that. Please fix your issues. You never was like this.

The front end of the store is okay - but the pharmacy is a nightmare. Pharmacists are so rude - also undependable. Prescriptions are difficult to fill, or filled incorrectly or not accessible- Do not trust your health to these people.

I phoned in a prescription on 7/18/2021 that had an expiration date of 7/29/2021. This item is usually not in stock and has to be ordered. I spoke with a pharmacy tech the same day and told her I’d be using the GOODRX card since my insurance doesn’t cover this. She indicated she would make a note and attach the card. Since then, I’ve called and used the automated system to check on the order and learned it was still in progress. I spoke with a pharmacy rep today who told me they would now have to call my doctor since the prescription has since expired. I’ve called her myself, and will now try CVS Salisbury to see if I can get better service. Very frustrating!

Trying to get through to the pharmacy is nearly impossible. My husband and I were up for our 3rd covid booster shot. Their online service only gave options for 1st and 2nd booster. When I finally got through, the person answering wouldn't even listen to my entire question and harshly pointed me to their website for covid related questions.Currently, my doctor has called in a script for my recently diagnosed Lyme disease. That was 10am this morning. I've been trying to call all day long. No contact with a person yet.If you live on the Eastern Shore of Virginia, go to any other pharmacy. The service at this location sucks.

It is an absolute disgrace that this pharmacy required multiple trips over several days to obtain prescription medication for a dying hospice patient that were called in by the doctor on a Thursday and the order is still not complete on a Monday. Pharmacy is extremely understaffed. CVS corporate should be concerned about prescription errors because this branch is an accident waiting to happen.

They were inside, about 3 I could see from the window. They saw me, no response. So I rang the bell. Finally after another 2 minutes and no response, I blew my car horn. Remember, I'm at the window. At last a response. They will be with me as soon as they can. 2 min, the prescription, they are working on it. It will take 20-30 minutes . I left. And I have to return later. Great!!!

I do not even want to give one star. The pharmacy in Toano, VA is the most inefficient business I have ever dealt with. Please do not use this pharmacy as the medications are never available and the staff is incredibly slow. It took an entire week for them to fill my prescription and it was for a common medication.

This store has treated me much better then the rite aid in exmore but you still have the pharmacist filling the order to what the insurance company wants and not what was ordered by the Dr. That is dangerous. Was filled for 200 test strips for diabetes instead of 30.

A few weeks ago I made a phone call, in search of Narcan/Naloxone. As we know there is a current Opioid Crisis, and I would like to be as prepared as possible if I come into a situation where I may be able to save someone's life. The girl entered my insurance information and then proceeded state, "You must not know what you're talking about." I further explained to her that there is a standing order for Naloxone in Virginia and I would like to fill a prescription under that standing order. She stated, "There is no standing order that you're talking about, I just asked." I then requested that Annie the pharmacy call me once she arrives. I'm guessing the message was never relayed to Annie. Today I called again, I have now completed the REVIVE! training, although Narcan was not available to be distributed upon completion of the training. When contacting CVS the second time, the standing order was acknowledged but I was told that I had to be the person who was going to use it. The pharmacist, Kelly, stated, "Are you going to use it on yourself?" I told her "No, that I was going to use it save someone's life in the case they were experiencing a overdose". I further explained that under the standing order I would like to request this prescription be filled for myself, and under my insurance. I asked if she could run my information to give me a price or verify if I insurance would cover the prescription. She stated, "You will have to bring in your prescription." I clarified that she wanted me to print out the standing order to present to the pharmacy? She notified that I would need a prescription and I should come into the pharmacy to speak with someone. I again requested for Annie to call me to clear up this situation. This is a VERY unprofessional and uneducated response. Needles to say I called H & H Pharmacy in Oak Hall, spoke with Chris. and he is filling the prescription under that standing order for me as we speak. He didn't make any unprofessional, judgmental, or rude comments to me either. He made a phone call to verify the protocol used for this process and called me back to verify if I would like to complete the request.

This place is ridiculous go to ANY other pharmacy if you can. My doc called in prescription for antibiotics I called CVS when leaving docs office they said it'd be an hour. It's been over 2 and still not ready. This is just 1 example of the many issues I've had with them.

On multiple occasions I have traveled to The Shore and had a RX issue. CVS has always handled with no problem. Only reason this is not a 5 is the one I use back home can be jenky!

I am out of state on vacation and I had to get a perscription filled at a local CVS and the GPS chose this CVS in Onley, the staff there was so nice and caring especially in the pharmacy. They made u feel welcome and treated u with respect. Definitely will go back if I have too.

Terrible CVS. Couldn't get half of what I needed because they don't keep up on stocking the shelves. Very dirty and almost seemed abandoned. Just go to walmart down the street, much easier to deal with.
