Delicious lattes and breakfast egg and cheese sandwich in a comfortable upbeat location with super friendly staff and owner. So nice that I visited a few times on a recent trip. The owner may have pointed out an awesome “secret” local beach but I can’t confirm or deny that at this time. 😉I’m looking forward to going back again.

Love this quaint cafe! An absolute asset to Onancock!If you are looking for a great drink and/or bite to eat during a daytime stroll through the town, then this is a must stop. The food and drinks are excellent, with lite bites and heavier selections available.The service is friendly and attentive. Everyone is made to feel welcome and like a regular.Wishing all the best to this gem!

We found this gem of a place when we stayed a night in Onancock on the way to Virginia Beach. Went first for a midday snack then for breakfast the next morning. Do not miss the ham and fig bites on homemade sweet potato biscuits! We loved them so much we got some to go to enjoy after we got to Virginia Beach. The breakfast sandwich was so good we put off breakfast on the way home so we could eat again at Foggy Place. Wish we had this place near to home.

3.00 for a cup of coffee that must had been made when Bush was president and served cold. When told of problem with product, told I was rude after being handed a cold cup of coffee. Awaiting refund. Owner uncooperative. In less you are ordering a $6.00 specialty drink, they give you swill that isn’t fit for a car battery.Interested in selling overpriced, local art and junk to clients who have too much money to spend and like supporting faux artistsOwner recently responded that I was coming in before closing. That statement is false. Last time I was there , it was four hours before closing. Nowhere during her rebuttal of my comments did she apologize for the cold and old Coffee, not the first time, nor has she offered a refund. She just asks those not satisfied with their swill not to come back and never offered a refund for her sub par product.Pretty typical in that she wants to charge premium prices for a product that shouldn’t be served as she feels entitled to be in business and her customers owe her. Shut that dump down

I love foggy place. The service is always wonderful! I've never had any of their food, but their beverages are great. I wish they had soymilk, but they do have almond milk. But it's the service that really makes the place. One time I was completely clumsy and spilled an entire latte on their counter and floor. I made a mess! I asked for a rag or mop to try to clean up, but the baristas insisted they take care of it. I felt awful, but they were too kind. Another time they let me try my frappe until it was at the desired sweetness. Lol. I asked for moderately sweet, so they put in a few pumps of syrup and let me try it. It wasnt quite sweet enough for me, so they gave it another go and hit the mark. It's truly the service that makes this place, they are wonderful! Thank you for being an Onacock gem!

I was recently on a road trip and stumbled upon foggy place cafe. I cannot say enough positive things about foggy place. Between the delicious coffee and pastries to the welcoming staff I would 100% recommend stopping in. In addition to the excellent coffee foggy place welcomed my dog and had water out for him. If you’re in the area you will not regret stopping to try this!
