Although they sell many things that I need, I will not be returning to this place. As a loyal customer since I moved to VB, I have encountered issues with their cashiers. On my last visit, a woman cashier rounded up extra to my receipt by $1.60 without asking. This time, another woman cashier charged me $5.99 instead of $3.99. If they require an additional $2, they should simply ask, and I would gladly donate it. It is essential that the numbers are accurate to me. I hope they do not treat other customers in the same manner. We pay for the items, and they are not free. We are also trying to save money and protect the environment. However, after this experience, I am too exhausted to double-check every time I pay with them, especially during busy hours when there are many people in the queue.

I truly enjoy my experiences here! I’ve visited multiple times. The staff is friendly and quick to assist. They are more than fair with the prices and are actually priced like a thrift store which is really refreshing. One of the best thrift stores I’ve ever been to. I highly recommend it.

I will not support this business any longer. I watched the worker jessica being extremely rude to another employee in front of a long line of customers. The worker told the manager, and i watched the manager lose the most friendly worker I've seen there. The owner of this place needs to do a major overhaul of the workers. It's unacceptable.Update: Thank you so much for replying and handling the problem worker! It's great to see people care! I will definitely come back after seeing how quickly you responded to me, and i imagine dealt with the situation.

This is literally the absolute best thrift store I’ve ever been to! The workers are all so accommodating and kind! They also always have the most beautiful pieces! Jessica and Ken who work there are ABSOLUTELY amazing! They create such a positive atmosphere.

This is a very nice thrift store. Have been in here very many times over the years. Always have a wide variety of items Furniture mattresses clothes household goods records vintage I mean you'd be surprised of the array of items they have here. Just like any thrift store sometimes the pricing can be a little iffy. But have been in there many times me and my wife. Keep up the good work for thumbs up

I went to Thrift USA and the workers were super nice and very helpful with everything. They helped me out out of the kindness of their hearts and made my whole week! Thank you Jessica and Ken for being genuinely nice and helping me out with things that I wanted!

I walked in at 6:56. The “open” sign was on and the door was unlocked. Customers were still in the building. No one greeted me and it seemed like the employees were trying to avoid eye contact. I asked a worker how much the Christmas tree was that was in the window. She looked at me confused and said “We’re closed. I don’t even know how you got in here.” She then said “Come back tomorrow morning.” She lacked customer service. Needless to say I was unable to buy anything and was escorted to the door like I was a criminal. I will never go back there again. All I wanted to do was buy a Christmas tree for my family.

I love coming to this thrift store. You never know what you're going to get but it's always going to be a good bargain. And today on top of that I had the best cashier. She was personable very friendly and actually talk to me but didn't over talk me. Her name was Peaches and if you get the opportunity to go through her line you won't regret it. There's not enough people these days that are friendly and she put a very positive spin on my day

I was able to purchase an evening gown for my homemade Halloween costume, and even though it was one size too big, it still was a lovely dress. I even had someone make an offer to buy it from me once I had it for my costume.

Pretty good selection if you look, lots of cool vintage furniture. No refunds or returns though, so if buying clothes makes sure you know your sizes. They have different discounts on different days of the week, Thursday for active duty and Tuesday for students I believe. Just show em your ID 👍👍

This is the best thrift store for clothes that I've ever been to, and I'm an avid thrift store shopper. Reasonably priced as well, and they don't have junk clothes. The whole store is organized very well. It is so organized that it doesn't even really have that thrift store feel. Almost like a regular department store. I do wish they had more tools and electronics available. Those departments are a little skimpy for the size of the store. I've been going to this thrift store about twice a year for the last 9 or 10 years. The only other thrift store that is even close to this one is Family Thrift Center over on Wesleyan.

Updated review: June 2023I've returned to this thrift store multiple times and each visit has been very pleasant. The staff are always super kind and sweet even though I'm sure it's exhausting working in second hand retail. It's always clean and organized with cute clothes (just unfortunately not in my size sometimes!) Highly recommend this store!Previous review: (2022)I just moved to the area and I wanted to check out some of the local thrift stores. Thrift Store USA was 1 of 3 I went to and it was probably the best one. The staff seemed to get along with each other and friendly with the customers. I was happy to see a large selection of Plus Size clothing and found many cute pieces in the section but left them for others since I'm not plus. I really appreciated how organized the clothing racks were. All color coordinated and by size. It helps me feel less overwhelmed because I skip sections that aren't my size or a color I wear. I usually thrift in Southern CA so I felt that the prices were just right and affordable. I found a few pieces here and excited to go back and see what else I can find.

Huge selection of clothes, household items and even jewelry. I buy for the whole family- my toddlers love to pick out their shoes and clothes and I feel good that we aren't spending "an arm and a leg" for kids clothes. As for adults, I do agree that some clothes are expensive but usually they're a certain brand or with new tags. That being said, I don't spend a lot on clothes in regular stores never over $10 but here some things will be over $20!

I love this place, but you guys need to use a different labeling system. The stickers are next to impossible to get off, and when I finally do get them off, I've damaged a really nice item. I noticed other reviews with the same issue. The adhesive is like super glue. Other than that, the prices are good and the employees are very nice and relaxed. 5 stars when labels get fixed.

One of the largest, well organized thrift stores we've every been to. So much to discover and treasure hunt through: Clothes, bedding, housewares. They have it all. I found Jerry Garcia and Beatles men's dress ties! Perfect and unexpected! Well worth the trip. Take some time for some well deserved shopping therapy.

Normally love this store for its good prices, array of items, and cleanliness but apparently they train their staff to read tags properly by putting mislabeled tags out and if you try to buy something with it they tell you they can't sell it. This has happened twice and it's a really good way to upset customers. We wanted to buy a handkerchief that had it's price marked twice on it and even offered to buy it for the full original price and they told us they couldn't sell it to us and it would have to go back into rotation. We were coming here weekly but with this I don't know if we will anymore. If this is resolved I'll redo the review but that's been two visits that have ended in disappointment.

3+ years donating (2-3 times/wk) and purchasing at this location, and today I was disturbed to see the staff yelling at my wife and daughter as she continued to look around (by the register) as I was in line paying. No we didn't make a scene, I finished my purchase and we left. I am disappointed to find this acceptable in any business.To show my support of your quality of service I am leaving you a 1 star and moving my business else where.Like your recent management replies state "you must be doing something good" I don't expect much change from this location as they seem to be profiting enough. I would recommend a less profitable location as they seem to care more about human interaction vice a profit. Just read the replies to negative comments, it seems like the staff are acting just like the management. You can also see the same trend on Yelp and FB.

This was my first time checking out this thrift store, and I wasn't particularly impressed with their selection of men's shirts (the only things I really paid attention to), especially short sleeve button down ones, which were sparse compared to the long sleeve shirts they had. The shirts that were there were organized by color, which was good, but I'd rather they had organized them by size, especially because it was difficult to even find the size on many of them. However, the prices in general were better than those of my preferred thrift store (up the street), so I will return here from time to time.

Love the variety at this thrift store but the prices are very high. If you are sourcing for resell, this is not the place and is for keeps only. For example, all their scarves, regardless of material, are $3-4.99 a piece, not $1 like they should be, so watch out, those can add up fast. I also don’t see how anyone in need could afford anything there…just sayin.

Their employees yelled at my elderly mother and ran at her as he kicked her out of the store all because she didn't know she needed to wear a mask and wasn't leaving the store to get one quickly enough. She was putting down her items as he ran at her yelling. I found several other complaints about the same employee yelling at customers for various reasons as well as hearing several first-hand antidotes. We didn't even get an apology or any acknowledgment that he did anything wrong. They even said that they didn't have any idea what employee would be doing this when this man has been known to yell at customers. They claimed he must have been talking to someone closer to him not yelling at her. Not okay at all. I would never shop here.

A friend recommended this place to me a year ago when I moved down to Norfolk and I can honestly say this is one of my favorite thrift stores to go to! Practically furnished/ decorated my whole house on a budget here. Prices are very reasonable, staff is super friendly, and the quality of the items they get/ sell are very good! I’ve even got a few clothing items from here. 10/10 recommend, especially for decorating/ furnishing a living space.

This place is awesome. I just moved here from Ohio. I had no dress clothes because my previous job didn't require them. I found way more than I needed! I found 2 pairs of dress pants for less than $2 a piece!!! I can't find prices like that at Goodwill! I also found 2 pairs of shoes both under $10 a pair, with one pair being worn once and the other maybe a few times. My cashier was super friendly as well! I think her name was Erica. Definitely will be coming back!!
