I’ve been coming to Robin’s for at least 15 years, with both my family dogs growing up and now my own dog. I cannot recommend Robin and her team highly enough. They have always taken such great care of our dogs. Not only that, they are terrific when dealing with customers as well. Support a local woman owned business that strives to provide genuine loving care for your creatures. My personal favorite part is that they’ll keep your dog for most of the day giving you ample time to get errands done. 10/10 recommend.

I wanted to love this place. They are affordable and do a good job. However, the owner Robin has been nothing but incredibly rude to me. The first time I thought maybe she was having a bad day. The second time, she made me cry. If they are this rude to people, it makes me wonder how they treat animals. We will find someone else.

Our last dogs groomer was charged with animal abuse. My dog had NO issue stepping in this place. It is seriously the best groomers oden has been to. Very good pricing too. He smelled so good and his bandana was adorable!

They are friendly, and professional. My dogs love them. I have three Schnauzer’s and one Australian shepherd. And I love the fact that they leave the skirts on my Schnauzer’s. And when they ever have any problems, they give me a call and not blindside me. I really appreciate that. They doing wonderful job with my Australian Shepherd. She looks forward to going. I also like the fact that they clean the bellies really good and shave them down really good around there Peri air for a nice clean area when they go potty. Thank you Robin and all your staff are doing a wonderful job.

Always friendly service and very reasonable price. They treat my dog like she’s one of theirs. Every time I ask my dog ( a very opinionated shepherd mix) if she wants to see robin she is so happy and ready to go. She always comes out looking like a new dog and smiling. Happy pet means a happy owner.

I took my dog to Robin’s Grooming for the first time today. When I called to get an appointment, the woman who answered the phone was very short with me. I chalked it up to her probably being busy. My mom dropped my dog off for me the next morning. When she came home, she said that they were not friendly at all and I hadn’t mentioned anything about the call the day before. When I walked in to pick him up no one addressed me initially and then one of the ladies said she would be right with me. As I was standing there waiting, one of the groomers yelled at a German Shepard she was working on because he moved a little. That definitely didn’t sit well with me. She continued to act agitated with him. I’m just hoping my dog wasn’t treated in that manner. They did a good job as far as the grooming, but I won’t go back. When you’re running a business, the least you could do is have a little appreciation for your customers. These ladies acted like I was bothering them. I’ll go bother another groomer with my money.

Very disappointed in the overall service and atmosphere here. Took our 7 month old Cavachon to be washed and groomed for his third time (twice at another groomer in Harrisburg). We got a call about an hour or so after we dropped him off stating that they would not be able to finish grooming him because he was to fidgety and was even biting at the groomer. We apologized and said we would be there to pick him up. It was weird to us because this was his third time getting groomed but figured maybe he was having a rough day. We arrived to pick him up and the lady was completely rude. Telling us we need to train our dog better and its our fault. I had to continuously ask her if we could pay so we could get out of there. Im not surprised he wasn't able to stop moving as the atmosphere was so chaotic with birds extremely noisy and it sounded like a zoo. Not from dogs. Not to mention the very unpleasant smell. I see now why we were able to get him in so quick. They charged us $30 and didn't even wash him and the parts that are groomed and his nails are cut uneven. Im glad we will be able to take him else where to have it done correctly. Save your money and time! What a headache that lady was. 30 years in business and they haven't figured out basic customer service! Shocking! P.S. Hand written notes everywhere to inform customers of random rules/info is tacky and trashy. Use the $30 you stole from us and print some professional signs that are more welcoming. What a JOKE!

I have been taking my bichonpoo here for a number of years and we love the service and the price point . He always looks great . And the salon doesn’t smell bad like some grooming places I have been in before always smells fresh .

Called to schedule an appointment for our dog after our neighbor suggested them. We had been using a local groomer, but wanted to check them out as they were just around the corner from the house. Whoever I spoke with on the phone seemed highly agitated and extremely short with me from the very first exchange. On top of that, she clearly had an issue hearing me due to background noise. When she asked me to bring a copy of my dog’s shot record, I explained that our dog does not get vaccinations because she was in remission from an autoimmune disease. She immediately was like “well we can’t groom your dog.” I understand the reasoning, but some better customer service and/or even checking to see if an exception could be made given that it’s for medical reasons would have been appreciated. I was really turned off from the moment she asked why I was calling, but as the conversation went on it was clear this place wasn’t right for us. The tone was all wrong. That’s not how you speak to customers let alone people. Work on your professional demeanor.

The place is convenient and I guess they do adequate work but I always feel kinda unwelcome here - like they don't really want to groom my dog or I'm imposing on them by bringing her in. To be fair, I've been there three times and "they" is really just one person but that person is the owner and it's been the same experience every time.And it's LOUD. The roar from a huge fan that blows from the kennel into the waiting room and the squawk of the parrots behind the counter make communication difficult. All the noise, mediocre customer service together with a generally dingy, dusty interior and you get a shop that's not really inviting and an unpleasant grooming experience.

"30 years of experience," that's atrocious! DO NOT, I stress. Bring your dog here. The staff was EXTERMLEY rude and unprofessional. The shop is FILTHY. I wonder how they're still in business, honestly. If I could give this place ZERO stars 🌟 I would. Do yourself and pet a favor and avoid this place. You're better off getting a pair of clippers and doing it yourself!

Robin is the best! I never wait for an appt. Shes resonable and my dog jack likes her. Shes been doing this a long time and she knows what shes talking about. My dog has cushings decease and i didnt know it but she suggested i ask jacks vet and she was right. I really appreciate being able to take my dog to her

My dogs love coming here and they always smell soooo good and look so cute with their bandanas and neck bows when I pick them up. Prices are reasonable and there's usually no issue with getting a same day or next day appointment!

I have a miniature poodle and he gets matted very quickly but Robin definitely got the job done without making his hair too short. She does a very great job and her prices are very affordable. I highly recommend.

I came up here to look at the reviews because I was thinking it was just my mind . When my doggie got groomed the owner was so nasty. I was talking to her about my dog and I guess I was wasting her time I turned my head and looked again and she rolled her eyes. I was like ok then. Her assistant asked her something and she snapped on her. When I got my dog home he was non responsive to me and I noticed a sore that was fresh. I said that was there before... That is what I told myself. Pray it was but just the fact that she was nasty! Nope never again! My dog can't say if someone is hurting him so before I flip I will not go back

I took my maltipoo to Robin's for the first time, when we entered into her place of business no one said Goodmorning. The employee asked me what was I there for and what my dog name was. There was a very negative vibe there. Rudeness I tried to make light of it she asked what kind of cut I wanted for my dog but being my first time I really didn't know. They are supposed to be professional 's so I think they could have shown me pictures or offered new customers ideas. When I picked my dog up the charge was $50.00 I asked w if that would be the charge next time she responded back " probably now either you have a set price or not. I am not going back the ladies there are simply rude not professional at all. Terrible experience for me.

Beside them keeping my dog for hours, everything else was great. Just keep in mind that once you drop off the dog in the morning. You won't get them back till the afternoon.

Quaint and quiet Robin's grooming nest truly is a jewel in the rough. I would've never thought this small brick building would be a terribly great place but I honestly have nothing but great things to say. Service is prompt and the grooming always meets whatever style you've chosen for your fur baby. My dog always comes home a more confident much better smelling animal.

I take my cat to Robins Nest to get his nails trimmed. He wiggles too much when I try to do it and I worry he will get hurt. The groomers at Robins Nest are always so friendly and very quick. I can always hear them talking to my cat too which I think is sweet. Good prices and friendly service!

I came her at the last minute to get my pooch a trim. The staff here was so sweet and flexible! They let me bring my baby in and they gave her a perfect haircut! Robin's will be our regular spot from now on!

So I didn't actually get my pet done there. I just called up there asking for a quote for a bath for a senior cat was. I was responded with a nasty rude answer that they don't bath cats. If they don't that's fine they should just say so nicely and maybe change there name to be more direct if they don't like people. When I do get a dog they will not go there!

We have been taking our Jack Russell, Huey, here for the past 16 years! He is very picky as to who he likes as well as he doesn't care for other animals. Somehow they are able to handle him with care and ease...and he loves them! Highly recommend!!

It was very uncomfortable in the shop. So noisy we had to yellh to hear each other above the barking dogs and fans.The owner seemed irritable and took offence at my wanting to observe the nail trimming. Very rude. Although the young woman who actually trimmed the nails did a decent job I would not want to ever go back. No one seemed happy.
