As I have said before, this store has many items that are hard to find in other stores. It is worth the visit. Homemade biscuits and breakfast items are hot to go meals. The store reminds me of when my mother took us shopping as a child. Enjoy your experience as I have in the 1970s.

I love Piggly Wiggly, this location food is always on point. The cabbage, turkey wings and breakfast! Great selection of meats.But I was in there this past Tuesday getting some smoked meat and spoke to a very kind gentleman who rang my items up. I asked him what he was cooking for Thanksgiving and he said he was working! Why are y'all open? It was deplorable and I was immediately saddened. Thinking about him today and hoping he has a wonderful day despite his raggedy employers having him work on Thanksgiving.

The breakfast is duh bomb!! Excellent home cooked food. Feels like your grandma cooked for you. The staff is friendly and welcoming. Prepare for a 5min wait if there's a line. Absolutely worth it!!

It's not the best grocery store. But the cooked food is delicious. Right at the door you can get a plate of Hamburg steak in gravy with mashed potatoes fried chicken, lasagna, collard greens, and more. The menu changes daily. The prices are between $7-10. I didn't see any fresh produce but the meat was on deck. Its not exactly in our part of the hood. But it's safe enough for going during the day. For a quick lunch or dinner. If you hungry in Hampton Roads stop by. And the people that work there are really nice.

$20 for food with no seasoning gravy on the potato salad the only thing that was right was the oxtails was tender just needed some seasonings first and last time eating there.

The marvelous food smells as you first walk in draw you, then the bakegoods. Employees are helpful & courteous. Shelves well stocked. Prices are reasonable too. I always stop in for my last minute items.

The store looks messy but is actually clean. I found hard to find wine at this location. For those who like them, they serve chitterlings on Wednesdays. They serve hot food to go from 7am - 7pm.

So my cousin and I went to get Wednesday chitterlings. There at the start of the lunch hour. We ordered the “chitterlings,collards and potato salad. $99.00. Only to get to our homes to find out that they served us hog maws. We are 30 minutes away you can only imagine our disappointment.I was also disappointed with the potato salad and collard greens (which by the way tasted like salad )the potato salad was to soupy. I am in Va. for just a little while and always make at least one trip to this store. Can’t really say that on my next trip here that I will return or recommend the food here. This was on 10/05/2022.

Purchased some pork rinds last month (Sept) Got in my car and drove off. I opened the bag and started to eat them and noticed that they tasted rather strange. Checked the expiration date May 4th 2022!!!!! I'm glad I only ate a few...but my stomach still felt a bit queasy. I like this store but I think they need a visit from the health department. Please don't be like me and assume that what you purchased from there is fresh. LOOK FOR THE EXPIRATION DATE!

If you haven't tried this place for breakfast, you don't know what you are missing. They give you plenty, and they have a nice selection of meat to pick from.

Went in looking for specific item. Called ahead and lady confirmed. Drove from oceanfront there and they didn't have it. I was a bit mad. Had driven there about 3x that week with no results. Store is nice little grocery. Noticed a lot of older people go for the prepared hot meals. Like to see that for the elderly.

I like to buy the fish already prepared by the pound from the deli area up front. I come home and heat it up in the frying pan after adding the seasoning I like. It is the easiest way I have found to cook fish at a great price.
