WOW. What an absolutely beautiful store, I’ve never felt so comfort and peace in a shop! Very friendly staff, super cute kitties, STUNNING CRYSTALS, very large selection, so so informative and detailed, each crystal has a card stating it’s name and purpose for those of us who can’t remember them all. There’s a library to gain more knowledge from and a meditation garden in the back! Highly recommend and certainly will be returning. Thank you for such a beautiful shopping experience.

Such a huge selection of everything you can think of! I loved every part of the store and all it had to offer! The rings were gorgeous and the selection of Incense was great! The staff was helpful and I will definitely be back again soon!

AWFUL customer experience. This place tried to STEAL my rings TO RESELL them! They kept my rings for over five weeks. I came in and called multiple times throughout the five weeks. They lied stating that their “jeweler” would be fixing them. Fast forward, 5 weeks later and nothing has been done to the rings at all. They were hoping I forgot about my rings so they could resell them. I finally had a friend go to pick them up. She had to make multiple trips because they actually took my rings out of the store to some unknown location and allegedly couldn’t “find them!” SHAME ON THIS COMPANY!!

I visited a week ago and was utterly disappointed. I have been visiting Mystic Moon for 30 years and this was the first time I was not greeted by an employee. In fact, it seemd there were no employees in sight until I asked very loudly if anyone worked there. At which point a man who had been enthralled in his laptop came to the register. I asked when more 7day ritual candles would be in stock. He pointed to a plethora of boxes stacked on the showroom floor (fire and/or tripping hazard by the way) and said that they were already there. At this point, judging from 30yrs of excellent service by Mystic Moon employees, I was baffled when his response was NOT to open the boxes to sell me the items I needed. Instead he suggested I come back the next day. The shop was empty except for myself and two other African Americans women. And I'd never been in the shop at a slow time that employees weren't stocking, taking inventory or assisting customers.I'm hoping his utter lack of customer service skills, his lack of desire to sell products, and his inability to offer the exception customer service Mystic Moon is known for is a him issue and not and indication of culture change within the shop. I will be returning this Sunday. Exactly one week later and I hope the shelves are stocked the way they have been up until this point or they at least go back to calling folks when what they want is back in stock like they've done for me several times over the decades.I want to remain loyal to this establishment as they really helped me when my mother's death was more than I could bare. And I've been loyal to the shop since. If this new culture of ignoring customers and neglecting basic duties--- like stocking when the store is slow and shelves are obviously empty--- hasn't changed when I go back, I will be searching for a new shop for my spiritual practices. But I REALLY REALLY don't want to. I have loved mystic moon since I was 15yrs old and they were just a tiny shop in a flea market. But I have to feel like my spiritual shop at least cares enough to serve me when I'm looking to buy supplies for my spiritual practices.

Used to love coming in and seeing them, but now half the stuff they sell is just from Amazon, shein or temu. I saw them selling hair stick that cost $7 for 10 on amazon at $8 each one.Kind of lost what it was supposed to be.

I started to come to Mystic Moon to buy crystals, incense, and oracle cards, and I was instantly impressed by their store. It is big, cozy, and inviting; plus, they have adorable cats who roam the store. They offer a great selection of metaphysical items, and they have so much to offer than just their products. Mystic Moon has a loving community and offers weekly events for like-minded people to get connected.

Beautiful place with great energy. Bought protective stones for my boyfriend and I with sage spray and sticks and they're amazing. I can't wait to come back here and be a regular shopper. Definitely recommend!! Blessed be! 🌛🌕🌜

I love the people who run this shop and make it such a nice place to be. Very welcoming and I love the atmosphere. I live on the Eastern Shore but I always come back to buy crystals, read books, browse, and socialize. I've attended the drum circle before and it is so beautiful.I love this shop! My first time in the store, it had an amazing energy with good prices and organized shelves. I wanted to buy so many things there but being short on money, I ended up getting 5 beads, which the kind lady at the register gave to me for free. In such a small act of kindness, it meant so much to me. Even if she didn't give them to me for free, I would recommend this shop to anyone in the area.

I could go on and on about the Mystic Moon. Home away from home. Even when I'm hundreds of miles away. I first started going to Mystic Moon back in 2004 when I went to my first Drum Circle. They were still across the street at the Flea Market then. From the very first moment I was treated like family. I was greeted with the warmest of hugs ever and welcomed in as a sister. I went back every Monday after that. I went to the store all the time for all my ritual and altar needs. They are very well stocked. Very knowledgeable. And always happy to teach the next generation. Debbie is wise beyond her years and has always been open to help guide us children or just listen when we need an ear. Come by and sit a spell. Pet one of the shop kitties. Read a book, have a cup of tea. You won't regret it.

I went for the first time today. I love how it doesn't look corporate, like The Heritage. So apparently, the atmosphere is consistent with the theme of what the store sells and promotes. Wasn't a terribly busy time as there were only three workers and I. Two of the three seem somewhat friendly while the other one appeared somewhat distracted and just want to expedite the transaction. I am not saying she was rude, she just didn't seem too engaged with interaction. Almost cold. I kinda had that "hurry up, purchase, and leave" vibe. As for the purchased product, I was told that the candle was patchouli scented which was the reason for purchasing. Sure enough, there was no scent whatsoever when I lit it. With that said, I might consider returning should there be no other options in the future.

My experience was not good. I've been to the store 3 times. My first visit I was ignored totally, clerk was too busy sitting at a table visiting with a friend. I wasn't even acknowledged as being there. When I asked a question, the answer was brusk, I guess I was interrupting.I attended 2 drum circles. Bunch of little clicks. Once again, ignored. Is it because I'm a senior citizen and everyone else was quite young? More activity going on outside so drum circle was almost devoid of participants.Overall, not happy.

This place has kitties ! Please do not pick up cats tho. They have wide variety of stones/ gems. They have assortment of candles, spells and charms. If you are looking for any herbs or oils they are neatly placed in baskets and shelves

I stop by every year when I'm in VA. The shop is the type of place you could spend hours exploring. Every time I think I've seen it all, I find more interesting pieces (clothing, candles, essential oils, carvings, jewelry) tucked away in a corner. The garden is very calming, and the store is a riot of color and activity. There are almost always folks hanging around, visiting like old friends, even if they haven't seen you for years. It's the type of place that any well-mannered person is welcomed.

I've been to my share of pagan shops, and Mystic Moon is easily one of the best I've ever seen. Deb and her staff create a warm and friendly environment where anyone interested in the craft is welcome. The store is a unique blend of library, shop, and community center, with a pair of adorable cats adding their own charm to the atmosphere. Working with Deb as a consignment vendor has been easy and pleasant. She is an honest, straightforward, genuinely wonderful gal who puts even the most anxious and awkward person (raises hand) completely at ease. I'm always happy to visit Mystic Moon for all my witchy needs and would recommend it to anyone in the Tidewater area, even if you're just passing through. When you're there, you're home.

Loved the place. They had a wide variety of those things i might need for different sorts of workings, the staff was knowledgeable and helpful and the reading was spot on. I will definitely be back! I've been to some other places locally and when i spoke to folks, it seemed a bit more like i was an interruption but not here! Oh, and apparently, this place arranges and sponsors large numbers of pagan/heathen events in the area and when i asked, is open to house events for the pagan/heathen community!

Store is stocked well but seriously over priced the things I buy from kindred spirit are a fraction of the price versus the products sold here. Same products just over priced to pay for an unnecessarily large store. Aside from that there's an excellent library in the back however you can't rent out or buy books. Many cats so this isn't the place to sit and read if you have allergies
