I love everything! Everything is clean and organized and it’s the place i buy everything I need, I RECOMMEND THAT YOU GET THE BRAND “Sheba” for cats it’s the only brand I can’t find in there but overall great.

My experience was fine. What I took issue with was when an elderly lady was told she couldn't write a check to pay for her groceries because the checks had been processed for the evening. The poor lady dug through her purse and was able to find a 10 dollar bill and $4 in quarters. She had the cashier start to take thinks off of her bill. She wouldn't have even had any groceries left once she got it to $14, so I covered the $30 for her. As long as a store is open, a customer should be able to pay with the means they have even if it does inconvenience the manager that probably shouldn't have processed the checks before the store was closed. If this is a Food Lion policy, then it sucks and needs to be changed.

Worst grocery store in the area. I moved over here about a month ago and this store is always out of stock. Their selection is equivalent to a dollar general. Can never find FoodLion brand apple juice and jimmy deans breakfast bowls especially. I go here about 2-3 times a week and nothing seems to be restocked. It's unbelievable how empty most of the aisles are here.

I can't bring myself to shop anywhere but food Lion. Convenient, in & out, l almost never find them to be out of something l need, well stocked.

Food Lion is a monument here in Virginia. Everything you need, nothing you don't. Prices won't shock you one way, or the other. Food Lion will always be there for you.

I'm always in and out, never have a huge wait. All the cashiers are good at their jobs and actually will be pleasant to interact with. The only downfall this store has is that on a truck night they will pull everything onto the floor blocking one side of the isle.

This seems to be smaller than your average Food Lion in the area. However, the store was clean and the cashier was friendly. Like all Food Lions, the selection isn’t as big or nice as other grocery stores, but what they do offer was presented well. If you know Food Lion grocery stores you will know what to expect.

They are very unprofessional and rude at times. When I first came in the store, I saw cashiers on their phones. Some were so busy talking amongst themselves to notice customers that wanted to be rung up. I saw one cashier turn her light off because a customer had a full basket. The management team shows favoritism and helps when they feel like it. The parking lot is dirty and most of the baskets are broken. The front end floor is always dirty with papers on the floor often. They do not tuck in their shirts, or use the radios or other devices like I’ve seen at most other food lions. Also no one informed me about the great reasons to download the food lion app. Or how the online coupons work. Overall I hope they find better staff!

Since I wanted to buy some stamps. I needed a cashier or manager to assist my purchase. With NO open service lanes I went to customer service where she insisted to me I needed to use self check out. She could not help. I eventually got my stamps. Keira was rude condescending and generally very unhelpful. This was the tidewater and bapaume Ave store

I can't think of a better rationale for automating the check out area. I literally just received better customer service from the automated check out. I went to see one of the cashier areas , with their light on.. and no one came. Then , I went to a space with two cashiers who were chatting. She said she's not open. Then she says to her coworker outloud, " can't he see my lights not on". Why? What's the point ? Did I really offend you by trying to buy groceries?Honestly, if it's to much trouble to help me make a purchase, food lion should just go completely automated so there customers can leave with a smile.

Food Lion is a very good place they just need to keep an eye on some of their stuff that's laying on the floor I stepped on some kind of oil on aisle 10 and told the manager and there was a guy with me that was just shopping by himself and saw me slip luckily the grocery cart caught me I sprained my ankle a little bit but I think I'll be okay they have pretty much everything you're looking for we'll see how my ankle does

Quality has been going downhill recently. There's been items in the deli section that have been out for 2 weeks. Expired 9 days ago and covered in mold. Most prepackaged veggies are out of date by a few days as well.

This store is literally the worst. I hope this store gets shut down cause it’s that terrible. Not only are they the rudest and most laziest workers I’ve ever encountered also the most disguising I’ve seen in my life. The store is disgusting as they always have many homeless hanging around. Not a place I’d like to ever bring my family. Couldn’t even leave my kids in the car with an guardian due to the fact even the guardian was uncomfortable. But not they anyone would do anything about these issues. I will take the time to explain how horrific it is. Tear down the place and put a Whole Foods or something.

Food Lion is cool. I'm a Leo so...I guess that's good enough for me? No just kidding. I like food lion 🦁 They have good quality products and everything is usually in stocks. They are very conveniently located and for that reason. I usually choose them over Walmart.

I'm 30 steps in and there are 20 flies on the bakery items. I think, oh it just near the door so that's understandable. I walk to the deli section and there are 20 dead flies in the case... Flies were everywhere which made me think that the air or coolers are not working properly. This also makes me think anything that needs to stay cold is bad 😔. I put my things back and left.

This store is good and the lines weren't bad, especially since it was crowded. It was quick, in and out. As expected the cashiers at any Food Lion are nice to you. The parking though was eh (it was kinda tight in some areas of the lot) and people almost hit into me, although that wouldn't be the fault of Food Lion. This isn't my go to Food Lion, and I wish more Food Lions had self checkout.

Customer service was awesome. The lines wasn't long at all. The employees was very nice and speaking with a lot of potential. Seems as if everybody as good work ethics. The security seem very alert and open minded about there surrounding and seem really serious about there job. I give this store a 10 on the scale. Customers seem happy

Employee mopping the aile with no wet floor sign, I assume an employee will she looked homeless. Another male employee was standing out front on his cellphone smoking, he looked filthy. The cashier was rude. I said hello, she mumbled what might have been hello. She walked away and started having a conversation with another employee. I assumed my transaction was complete... she glanced at me and kept on talking.

I went to Food Lion to get canning supplies. I was able to find pectin but couldn't find any jars or lids. With all the food deserts in our city and many other cities across the US, it would be nice to see all the food stores prompting education on how to preserve various foodstuffs. The customer will benefit, the store will benefit. A real win - win. It really made me sad to ask the very young people in the store if they had canning lids and was asked, 'what are they?'. Fingers crossed.
