I enjoy shopping at food lion for the prices etc. This food lion on E. Little Creek Rd especially because it has a great cashier there named 'Donesha' (spellchk). My husband and I visit all the local Food Lions. Store #0557 is our favorite due to location, cleanliness, atmosphere and prices,also the cashiers are polite. We've encountered Donesha(after I asked her name) a few times. Shes awesome every single time. She greets you but isnt overly chatty like a lot of them at grocery stores. She stays about her business of totaling your items and shes fast. She can teach other cashiers how it should be done. I dislike waiting on lines because the cashier is chatty or has a bad attitude and only greets 'certain' customers. Thanks -Donesha for making our weekly visits great when we check out on your line.

Food Lion is always my go to. It's close to home and convenient. This particular store is close to my work. Started going here a few months ago on my way home from work. Nice store and friendly associates. Pretty well stocked , at least for what I buy. Layout is different then the one by home but starting to learn it. Will continue going here for future shopping.

I used to love this place, cashier's are nice but it's dirty, poorly stocked. Guy in produce section oblivious to the way he has things blocked. Lots of trash in front of store. Sad.

Disappointed. The last 2 times I've gone in here to get food it's been expired. Bought a pie for Thanksgiving and when I went to bake it I realised it had been expired almost a month. The time before I bought a whole chicken and it was bad. These are only recent problems they are usually my go to store.

I really like this store and I've been to three different locations in the area so far. I go to the one on Little Creek Road most often. Their customer service is always good and the store is kept fairly clean and stocked. The main reason I didn't get five stars is because every time I've been there the parking lot is trashy and filthy. Not to mention all the potholes. I drive a small car and if I hit one of those I'll be gone forever. But seriously it's a mess in the parking lot. Also it would be nice if people who are smoking would not stand right outside the door that go back up at least 25 or 30 ft. I'd like to be able to still breathe while I'm walking into the store. Thank you.

Food lion is a good neighborhood store. I'm so glad that they did not actually close down and decided to stay. Besides, the keep Walmart honest. Good product and selection at a reasonable cost. Go ahead and Roar Food Lion@

Out of all the Food Lions in the 757 area that I have gone too, this one is by far the cleanest one, both inside and outside too. I was very impressed! The store itself is smaller than the rest though, but they do carry a great variety of everything.

It's well lighted, well stocked including vegetables and fruits, good deli, enough parking. It's a frequent stop in route home from work. Also the employees are helpful when approached. However 3 of our favorites have been dropped so it's time to look beyond.

Not a pleasant experience. You had obvious employees following me and my family around the store. One of whom was a small man too. Hypothetically speaking, If i were to steal something he wouldn't have been able to stop me either way. Disgusting people. Not worth the profiling. Do better. I'll take my money to another competitor until then.

Since COVID-19 began, I have, for the most part, tried to order grocery delivery to stay out of the stores. This morning I decided to go to food lion before work to get some groceries for my office. I was super impressed with how clean it was. I could smell bleach which is always a good since, the floors were all clean, there was a young man spraying and providing carts when you come in, and all the workers were properly shielded with masks. The store was stocked and organized and I felt very safe. It was a great experience and I am more likely to go to this location then other stores I have been too. Keep up the great work.

The cashier was a great help and very friendly for my first visit during Thanksgiving.My husband and I go for a visit during Christmas Eve and the female cashier had an attitude like I made her come to work that day. If you don't want to work--stay home!!!!

I would say if you haven't been to Food Lion in a while, give em a shot! There are an abundance of wonderful grocery stores out there now. With so many options out there, don't fall asleep on Food Lion. Fresh produce, a decent selection and very good pricing make this a place not to be overlooked! I'm especially satisfied with this particular location.

Hours of operations are more convenient than the average store. Unfortunately, not all stores in this chain consistently carry the same products at the same time. Sometimes, they don't consistently carry the same items daily or weekly. Watch the produce, know how pick good produce or you may b surprised, not necessarily in a good way.

I've never thought I would have to shop at Food Lion since Farm Fresh and Kroger are both gone. I mean, there are other places, but good luck trying to get certain items. There's just no one stop shop anywhere.

I see Lisa at this store all the time. She does a Good job at handling this Location. It's pretty busy, but get people out Quickly. Shelves are stocked, Meats are presented well, And the "Meat Manager Deals" feed my house regularly.

My family regularly shops at Food Lion and I feel that they have a great selection for their prices! Many new items have been added to the store and I feel that Food Lion has really improved over the last couple years. One thing I love about Food Lion, is that you can buy one BOGO free item at half price. Some stores do not offer this! Another upside is their shop and earn program. Every month, once we hit our spending goals, we can earn money off our next purchase. This may not be exclusive to Food Lion, but it just adds on to the overall savings that shopping here brings. I really do highly recommend stopping by your local Food lion, you may be surprised at what you can find! Happy shopping!

Although their 8 piece fried chicken was fairly seasoned, they put steaming hot chicken in a platic bag with NO grease pack. So not only is the steam wetting the fried chicken, it sits in a puddle of grease also contributing to WET fried chicken.

The Food Lion at Shore and Little Creek is poorly maintained and always under stocked. The one just a mile down Little Creek Road is MUCH better, cleaner and stocked better. It is almost like a different company, the difference is worth the extra 2 minute drive. Really
