This pharmacy clearly does not know how to handle the volume of customers that it services and cannot maintain keeping necessary medications in stock. They will not help you find them elsewhere as they are too busy - so it's my job to sit on the phone all day calling around to track down and then corral my doctor into moving the prescription - which guess what - by the time that happens, the medication has been filled to someone else. The last time this location filled my prescription was 11/21/2023 - it's now 01/18/2024 and still has not been filled. Absolutely unacceptable for a company to negate medical needs when it is their purpose to be able to provide medicines prescribed by doctors. I have tried switching pharmacy's but unfortunately Optima is not accepted at all pharmacy's so I'm stuck in CVS Hell.

The worst CVS for patient carePharmacists are immature & snippy. There has only been one staff member who helps fix issues that is respectful of others and their needs, if I could give -5 stars I would for the past issues with “non-received” prescriptions. I would transfer my profile to a COMPLETELY different pharmacy but due to insurance, this is where the insurance says I must go.

This pharmacy is ALWAYS extremely busy!! sometimes you are waiting for a longer time than you anticipate. However, when i went in Saturday although it was busy EVERYONE was working hard to meet the needs of every single person who was waiting. I over heard a discussion with another customer and the pharmacist (Gabby) where the medication they wanted to get was not ready and she apologized and jumped right into getting that persons medication done. The other 2 workers also worked hard to meet the needs of all the customers in line. Some customers did not talk very respectful to those ladies yet they ALL kept working hard and kept a pleasant and professional composure. Thankfully my needs were met without any issues/obstacles!! If the staff they had when i went is working in the future i can see this pharmacy turning around from what people have previously seen/experienced here! Thank you ladies you ALL were awesome!

Terrible customer service. Plus they won't let customers use the bathroom. I need a box of gloves you think in a pharmacy a box of gloves would be easy to find no I walked around the entire medical section three times then I asked the lady at the cashier where the gloves were she told me the same aisle I already looked through three times there are no gloves so I'll leave and go somewhere like Walgreens where they appreciate their customers plus this is a pretty sketchy part of town to be honest buncha homeless people in the parking lot giving me the creeps

I would like to say that the technician who goes by name Vanessa was exceptionally helpful when I went to this store to pick up a medication for my mum. I was a bit ignorant as to how the system worked when picking up a medication. I believe that I made this lady’s work more stressful given it was my first time picking up a medication and I was completely all over the place. However, Miss Vanessa wasn’t annoyed or bothered at all. On the contrary, she was so gracious with her smile, and generous with her words. Her desire to assist me in picking up my medication was very much palpable and authentic. This lady took her time in helping me get what I needed and she made me feel welcome. If I could give 100 stars to express my gratitude to her, I most certainly would. Thank you, Miss Vanessa. You truly are an angel.

If I could give no stars I would. This is the worst pharmacy ever! The line on the drive and inside is always long and you’re waiting forever. The pharmacists are rude with the exception of maybe one or two. They stand around the pharmacy when people are waiting for them and don’t acknowledge you until about 10 mins later. I’m currently waiting at the drive though with a car in front of me at the window and I’ve been sitting here for 10 mins. I’m about to change pharmacies cause I’ve had it with this one.

Worst pharmacy I've ever been to. Full of excuses. There is always a problem with 'the system'... They've been 'short staffed' for forever despite only having one opening posted online for a 16-year-old tech, like that will solve their problems. Either way, Rx is rarely ready, even if they say it will be. They tell you it's your fault because you didn't call first but if you call, you'll likely be on hold for longer than it will take to drive somewhere else.

Service at this location(Lafayette)is atrocious to say the least. I wouldn't give it a half star, but this is as low as Google allows. 8-9 times out of ten, Rx is either not ready when you are told it will be. ***Pharmacist (Nkasi???) did not exhibit professionalism at all when asked about Rx status. Pharmacist says it's not their automated system that doesn't work, nor staff that is not professional, but that the customer (me) which is the problem. Has a prior authorization approved by both doctor and insurance company, and CVS has had Rx "in the queue" which still hasn't been filled since March 9th. Meanwhile, I keep getting bounced back and forth between, insurance company, pharmacy, and doctor. ***Simply do your job, without making customer's life more stressful, difficult, and painful than it already is.

This pharmacy is poorly staffed. Be prepared to be ignored and have to stand in line for at least 45 minutes just to pick up your prescriptions. The customer service is non existent. The employees do not seem to be prepared or know how to efficiently keep things moving.Edit 11/12/22: still no improvement. Apparently no one at cvs corporate cares about standards carried across their brand and there is still no one at this pharmacy that cares about customer service. They now also call to tell you your meds are ready, but don’t tell you that insurance hasn’t approved them until after you’ve spent your 45-60 minutes in the drive through lane.Question: when are you guys going to staff up and be more professional? When are you going to fix the second drive through lane? When are you guys going to do your jobs????

Cannot give zero stars or I would. My medicine is NEVER ready on time, even after they text me and tell me it's ready! Then I'm told to come back in a few hours and it's is still NEVER ready. They always have some sort of issue they blame on the customer, doctors, or the insurance companies of which I have three. Multiple excuses, never results. Even after complaining to the district Manger, problems are not solved. And still hqve not put me on auto refill after asking every single time I go which is usually 2 or 3 times per month because they cannot get it together. Excuses, Excuses, Excuses!!!

I went into the store this morning to buy some vitamin D. They had it on sale for $28 by 1 get 1 free which. Was no problem got to the cash register. Cashier said to me if I do not have ACV S card I cannot get the discount. I requested ma'am please ma'am be allowed to use your card because I'm late for workYou know and I'll get one later. She's rudely said no if I don't have a card I can't get this discount. I'm letting it be known. I will not tell anyone about CVS for providing poor customer service.

06/05/23Passport. The system does not work to print pictures so you can't get passport photos done. Also you can't print photos. It seems like it has been out for a while. They remodeled and that ended the ability to print.

I would give zero stars if allowed. This pharmacy has been a torn in my life for many years. I’m not sure if it’s management or corporate philosophy, but I’m fed up. My concerns finally got so bad that my wife and I changed pharmacies, but my Mom has to use CVS for insurance purposes, so I’m forced to continue to deal with them. The issue is (and has always been) with the pharmacy. No matter how much time you give them to fill a prescription it is never ready when you go to pick it up. It’s always the same story. That they are busy and it will be 30 minutes before they can fill it. Whether it’s called in from a Dr.‘s office, dropped off, phoned in personally or by automated system for refills. If you give them several hours, or in the current case, an entire day, it’s the same thing. “Sorry, but it will be 30 minutes before we can fill your prescription.” I understand there are employee shortages these days, but this issue began well before Covid. So that can’t be used as an excuse.

I’ve been calling for a week now staying on hold for over 30 min with no answer. I have a ill child who needs meds and I am tired of having to drive back and forth to the pharmacy because all her meds aren’t ready at the same time. I had the front register rep give the pharmacist my call back info and still never got a call back. One time I get there to get meds after I received the text and the system was down all day I came 3 times before a young lady told me to call another cvs and have it transferred. Some of these meds are life and death. Currently waiting on a steroid for my daughters lungs. I understand everyone is short staffed but this issue has been going on for a long time.

Never answer the phone . I be on the phone for 30+ minutes waiting to speak with someone. They never have your medication ready. My medication was sent in three days ago and it is still not ready for me to pick it up. The pick up line always long.

Despite the negative reviews, this CVS is good. It's just a bad neighborhood with the occasional difficult and moody customer which is what prompts the low stars and negative reviews from customers, nothing to do with the employees or the store itself.

Either the doctor sends my refills and they magically don't arrive, the person who helps me says it will be ready by a certain time and they have no record of it, or there is a person standing in there just before 9am but the window recording says they are currently closed. So when exactly should I pickup my perscriptions that you keep texting me to pickup? I have things to do and always having to waste my time driving by hoping they got it together that day. Today is another day they didn't and I honestly don't have time to go back the next few days to try again. Even my doctor says CVS is the worst pharmacy to use... Awesome.

Ever since the old staff left, the store has become worse. The old staff at least greeted us nicely and would give us a proper time frame. They were also understanding and patient, but the new staff now are rude. They can’t answer simple questions properly and always leaves people on hold for more than 20 minutes. The longest I’ve been on hold was 32 minutes to be exact. It’s ridiculous, they should close this store down.

This location has gotten so bad that I have started getting more and more of my perceptions filled elsewhere. It was nice to see Dan back for the 1 day I had to stop in . Gess it's just too bad that you can't find more like him. I was looking through the reviews and could tell the ones that an employee had written. Just need more Dan's and the old crew. O well things change.

Used to like going here but now you don't know when the drive thru is open, been closed at least 2 days.It would seem that the drivethru is the safest way to p-up your prescriptions. Disabled people that are unable to come in the store are unable to get their prescriptions.Cvs needs to post on their websites if the drive thru is open or closed.Duting the past 2yrs. Of covid there was no problem.

Honestly if I could give this CVS 0 stars I would. Their drive thru is closed half the time because they aren’t staffed properly. You wait on hold for literal hours to try and talk to someone. Wait days for your prescriptions to be filled. I’m switching my family to a different pharmacy. I’ve put up with this horrible service since I moved out here 2 years ago.

The service at this location today was phenomenal. I'm new to the area and I was genuinely impressed. Natasha had a great attitude and she was very efficient. Amari was helpful and professional. Taylor had a smile to light up the room. Finally Zoey was the glue of the operation. The four of them all worked together perfectly.

Had to find a home Covid test kit. The phone answering service said they were in stock (family member having symptoms, I've been exposed). Go to pharmacy drive through, and sign says no at home test kits. Talked to pharmacy tech, who learned they are at the front of the store. Advised them I was exposed. They said enter anyway!!!! Couldn't find help, walked around the entire store until I could find someone. Either COVID is a fake (it's not) or this was just bad control (it is)My next trip is even worse. Get a call saying my meds are ready to pick up. Listen to store hours. They will be openafter lunch. They aren’t. Good pharmacy if you like taking multiple trips for the same item. You can tell by corporate responses (none) that they really don’t care.

They barely answered the basic questions I need to know to seen my test results to my job I felt like she say rushing me off the phone as if this is not apart of her job . I just need to answer and to get brushed off was very unprofessional and mean. Never coming here again for nothing . Nothing but mean people .

They never have my prescriptions I’m always waiting days to weeks with no one reaching out so I can at least transfer it to another cvs. Barely want to answer the phone for anyone if they ever answer.

As a previous employee with Walgreens, it pained me to leave them. However, this location is about 3 blocks from my house, so I decided to start filling my prescriptions there. Terrible idea. After 11 years in pharmacy I have become very patient. I dropped off my prescriptions on Monday and said I would be back Friday. Because of a COVID scare I wasn't able to come Friday, so I came Monday, an entire week later. I had 2 high priced meds and gave the pharmacy co-pay assistance cards to help. Despite giving them an entire week to run the co-pay cards with my insurance, they were still giving me the regular prices. The cashier, who could barely hear me because of how loud the music was over the counter, had no idea what I was talking about and asked for the cards again. Of course I had them, but then had to wait another 15 minutes to pay for the prescriptions. While I waited I noticed there was trash. EVERYWHERE. The floors, counters, shelves. The store is carpeted and taking a vacuum to it would take all of 20 minutes. Came back the next day to get some hair dye and drinks. $3.50 for one Red Bull is ridiculous. Got my items and hopped in line. The cashier was the same one who was playing a movie on his phone as loud as he could the first day I went there. The line was halfway down the store so I politely put my things back and left. I then proceeded to Walgreens, where I will continue to go. I realize this isn't going to bankrupt CVS. Not only could the store manager care less that I won't come back, but he/she couldn't care less about the general appearance of the store. The hood gas stations down the street are cleaner and more organized than this place. Do better, CVS.
