Attempting to purchase a few things and all set to pay for them….one of the items rings up for a higher price than the place I got it from said it was when I questioned the “Manager” about the price he got very indignant asking me “do you see what it says here” I inform him that where I got it from it says the price is 5.74 again he repeats “do you see what it says here”(same tone)….he proceeds to ring everything up like I have no right to question the price I’m paying so I took upon myself to let “Mr.Roses” keep everything I was gonna purchase… I won’t ever step foot in this location again to be treated in a very unprofessional manner….Buyer beware!!!

This rose's was so clean and organized. I found everything I needed and there was plenty of lines opened. The cashier was friendly and helpful. I wish I had got her name. She was so sweet.

Please teach cashiers how to be more efficient with checking out. If a customers at their registers is taking too long (through talking or trying to make a payment like a check) the cashier should understand to use context clues and that if she/he cannot work and talk at the same time, then keep quiet until it’s done. If you can’t slide a check through the system while talking, the. Shut up and do your job. Or make a polite statement like “I’m just trying to move along because there’s a line behind you!” Each customer does not need 15 minutes of fame with a cashier. There are other people in line still waiting.Next time I’ll leave my cart of stuff and if they want to waste time talking talking rather then ringing and processing payment in diligent amount of time, I’ll waste their time too by leaving stuff to put away! The register is not your social life!

The store is never organized or clean and it's always relatively busy. Often ive found items without a tag and its the last of its kind so management will just makeup a price for the item. Also, be prepared to spend at least 15 to 30 minutes standing in line at the register. Some of the staff is friendly, but rarely does anyone move with a sense of urgency

They have a decent selection of items, but they're disorganized. I was a paying customer here back in March of 2020 and I went to use the restroom, keep in mind the restrooms were wide open and there weren't any signs saying "No Public Restroom", so I went in and when I came out, I essentially got told off by management and how "I shouldn't have been in there", despite the doors being wide open and no indication that they weren't available for use because if you got to go, you got to go, especially with Irritable Bowel Syndrome. I guess I was there at the wrong place at the wrong time. Anyhow I just left without buying anything because it was awkward and I honestly didn't want to do anything else to get me kicked out of the store. I would not recommend going here because the place is disorganized and rude, but if you do, make sure you don't have to use the restroom.

Wish I could give a 0 star rating. Terrible customer service. Was greeted by cashier while she was clearly on her phone. Proceeded to wait then she put the phone down. Right before I was given my change back she got on video chat with her boyfriend. This happened at 6:39PM. Would like to reach out to someone to fix this issue

I visit the roses in Newmarket pretty often.Monday Feb 26 was definitely my last day.I have seen that they have bad customer service.i got to experience it first hand.i was purchasing a purse. That had a ten dollar clearance sticker on it. And hanging all around the purse I was trying to purchase was signs saying an extra forty percent off. Well when the cashier( nice )rang it. It rang as it’s regular price which was 14.99.so she called for a price check. So when the older lady finally made it to the front to check the price. The cashier told her the situation. She instantly in a very nasty voice said those aren’t clearanced.so I said well you have about ten more over there with the same sticker She went to the department and saw that all the purses like mine were tagged with the ten dollar sticker.she stood there and went through them all. Almost like she was trying to find any reason she could to not give me the purse for the price they were advertising. Then she took a purse to customer service and had another cashier ring it. Of course it said 14.99 as well. At this point I knew she was stalling trying to come up with something. Because what was the point when we already knew what it was scanning. So finally she walked back towards the register. And threw the Second purse she had in a basket.extremely hard. To the point we’re the cashiers were even shocked as well as customers. So she walk around and put in the price that’s being advertised. The whole time fussing. Those aren’t even suppose to be there.thats a big difference. Just fussing. First off it’s Not a big difference.and secondly. Very unprofessional and it made me very uncomfortable. As much money as I’ve given this store. So I asked the cashier to call the manager for me. The manager comes up. She’s still running her mouth. Which shows just how unprofessional this location is. You would think with her seeing im waiting for the manager she would close her mouth. Nope. Talking so much to the point were I had to walk the manager to another area to explain to her what happened. The manager was very nice and said she dont know why she was acting like that. It wasn’t much of a difference.yeah I know. And it wasn’t even the money. I could have paid the 14.99.but that’s not what you’re advertising. It was her horrible horrible customer service. And this lady has been at this location for many years. Many years having that same ugly rude face. I dont know what she’s use to dealing with. At this location.But that’s not me.the manager said she was going to take her to the office and have a talk with her. Good. But she’s not gonna change. I will never go to this location again. I will travel a longer distance and visit the location in Yorktown. They’re nicer. As far as the lady. With the nasty rude and horrible customer service. You’re in the wrong line of business. If you’re miserable. QUIT!!! Don’t take it out on loyal customers.

Today, I ask the Older woman (in line 5) ask if she's open. She said "No and never will be!". Very disrespectful. I went to another line Ms. Cynthia. She amazing. Great customer service skills and great prices.I will come again.

Other locations I've visited are ok. This one is disgusting. Hard to tell what they might have in stock. The store is always in disarray. Never enough cashiers, long lines. I feel sorry for the people that work here, they're usually nice and its a wreck.

Went there Saturday and found my porch chairs..A worker named Zach, was very helpful and even helped me get the large items, in my car..Good prices and polite cashier.

Nothing against roses but they definitely need to revamp the staff. Customer service is horrible the cashiers seem to not want to be there or hate there job they barely speak and have the nerve to move like they don't care. I don't recommend going on Wednesday is senior citizen day where everything is 10% off and it seems like the cashiers decide to slow down for whatever reason and I stood in line for 20 minutes trying to buy three things. The cashier moved so slow i could have took a nap but coulnt because i was beyond irritated trying to understand why she was moving so slow .she ended up knowing the customer 2 people in frt of me and decided to have a full blown convo. In the process decided to answer her cell phone and told whoever was on the line to call her back on the stores phone so unprofessional. roses has great prices but there customer service is horrible .5 lanes open with 7 people to each lane and every cashier was moving so slow. I would actually apply and love to be hired on, just to show them it doesn't take that long to get Customer in and out in a friendly and protectant way.

I had to stop shopping here due to items that I was looking for, were hard to find without asking for help and those people seemed hard to find also. My last visit, the items purchased were forced into 2 bags and 1 item spilled in 1 of the bags and got on everything inside the bag.

Here's the thing...Rose's has affordable items, but you have look past the appearance of the store. Look around... shop and get some good cheap items while minding your business. It's a mash up store of Marshalls, TJ max, Rainbow, and the dollar tree so just ENJOY.

Can I just say, WOW!" I have never been so blown away by such wonderful prices on such wonderful products. Everything from clothes to gardening supplies. This has been defiantly marked as a favorite of mine!!!

Everyday items at reasonable prices. Bluetooth headsets go for $10. Whenever possible, prefer to go here rather than Walmart for everyday necessities.

Mercury blvd location has poor customer service, always long lines, only two lines open w/6 lanes available & takes to long for check out, they need better management. I rate this location 0 (stars).
