This is the most amazing store!! It’s sort of live Five-Below but with a different selection. A lot more home decor type stuff and less stuff for the kiddos.The selection is huge. There is a lot to choose from that is unique like their travel section, notebooks and pens, and art section.They also have a lot of different stuff for home like decorations, pillows, dishes and so much more. The best part is everything is priced so well! Most items are less than $10, it’s crazy! There are so many different things to choose from. This is such a great store!They also use paper bags and it’s shelf checkout. It’s a clean environment and the staff is friendly. There aren’t things thrown all over the place or out of place.This is a great place to shop for party supplies, kitchen items, journals/notebooks, gifts, decorative pillows, seasonal decor, snacks, stocking stuffers, home items like cleaners, toiletries, body care, laundry, etc.They have a little bit of everything in the best way possible!

How they interact with you is a bit odd. They are in your face or watching you as if you are stealing. I like to feel comfortable when I shop and I will definitely not come here if I need to pick up a few items, I’ll go elsewhere.Also to add I wonder if they have a lot of theft in the store. I really feel profiled when I’m in there. This is the third time this has happened.

The BEST experience at this Newport News location. I had overflow of items in my cart and Quay was sooooo helpful. She helped me sign up for the rewards program, helped me wrap my glassware at check out, brought out bigger bags from the back for me, grabbed an extra cart for me and brought the items to curb while pulled up my car. Absolutely excellent. It’s been a stressful moving week for me and she was a ray of sunshine. Please do something special for her!

I've been to popshelf a thousand times and today I was racially profiled and followed around the store. The audacity of the employee ask me and only me if I was paying with card or cash while I was checking out and never asked that to anybody else at the register. This store was presented to me by the woman working as 'an adult five and below'. I would agree with that. This Meaning, there are household gadgets and lifestyle accessories galore rather than an abundance of items geared toward children. There was a large selection of seasonal items, over the counter medicines, and home fashions. Better priced, selection, and quantity per dollar than the dollar tree.

The store is exceptionally clean and well stocked. Every time I go there the staff is always helpful, friendly, and overall very sweet. My favorite thing to buy there by far is their candles. I highly recommend shopping here if you haven't tried it yet.

I'm in love with this store already! It's so cute and purple 😍. They have the cutest styles for decor and such quality at great prices! Staff are nice, checkouts are convenient. I was surprised to see such variety and I love the organization of it all! I'm glad it's right up the street from my house because I'm sure I will be a regular here!

Very clean and sleek layout. Great place to shop around for some interesting ideas, nick nacks, and home decor. Great selection of candy. All the staff were very friendly and helpful through the self checkout process. Got a lot for under $50

Great service for the most part. One lady (possible manager?) Is very short with her direction and quickly stating rules that are well known and not broken at the time. Clearly has an attitude about dealing with the public. Young man at checkout and seen in video on Facebook handles stress and a long line very well. Calm and over the top polite. He should be the manager if he is not already. He is 5 star. One bad apple spoils the bunch!

Typically wouldn’t come in to a store without reason, I was doing some doordash over the weekend and found my self here. The store is extremely clean and the staff is probably some of the most friendly and helpful staff I’ve experienced. Kyara went above and beyond to assist me while I was in the store. Love this store but they just unexpectedly closed at 2pm today with no explanation at all 😢 Was grabbing something specific for my Mom for Mother’s Day too. Disappointed ☹️. All they said to all the customers was..we are closed now..you have to go.
