I drove past this place for years and I never knew that this store even existed 🤦🏽‍♂️. Welp on Friday I found this place on Google and I am blessed for their business. The staff there are awesome and extremely welcoming and they will try their best to please their customers. I went there for a bed and I found a Queen size bed for only $50. I spent more money in gas getting to the store than I did for my whole purchase. I definitely will be back and looking around the store for anything I need. God bless these men and this store 🙌🏽.

The place is awesome, 100% of the proceeds go to the homeless men in the Penninsula rescue mission shelter . A great place to browse with new inventory EVERY SINGLE WEEK . AND THE STAFF are absolutely splendid. Answered all my questions and met my expectations on what customer service should be . Reasonably priced items , faith based mission, great staff , warm atmosphere. What more could you ask for in a consignment / thrift . GOD BLESS

The gentleman who checked us out went above and beyond! If by chance you happen to read this, my son is absolutely thrilled with the little toys he got. He collects vintage Happy meal toys and has wanted them for ages.The employees in the back were friendly, helpful and even offered to try and fix a lamp for us that wasn't working.All around its a great little shop.

I've been to this store MANY times, and am aghast that I've never shared a review before! Quality merchandise, tested appliances, and if you don't visit the back room, you are truly missing half the fun! Every member of the staff is about 200 levels ABOVE amazing! And it's for a good cause, a cause that gets overlooked all too often. God bless you guys, and THANK YOU!!! ❤️❤️❤️

What a great experience! At first, it didn’t seem like the most welcoming place... but the inside is wonderful. The workers were so kind and helpful. We worked with Blake and Shawn and 10/10 for their customer service. They have a great selection of furniture, home decor, and more. Definitely recommend :)

I really hate to give this place a good review. I mean as soon as I do people will find this little gem, the prices will go up and I will lose out on all the deals. Sorry I sound so upset but I know how these things work. This place deserves some business; It's GREAT! Its clean, has great stock, AWESOME deals and the people are friendly. I was looking for something specific and they had it and reasonably priced. Very great place to go when you're bargain shopping or antiquing. Just leave some deals for me please. LOL

I love coming here. The staff is always very welcoming, helpful, and friendly. And the prices are wonderful! I purchased two gently used living room pieces for a STEAL, reupholstered them, and you’d never know they came from a thrift store!!! Love Peninsula Rescue Mission Thrift 💞

Fantastic regard for health and safety! I noticed a closed sign while stopping by this afternoon, and when I called, they advised that the store would be closed to in person shopping until January 31st due to covid. Wonderful experience overall, and I'll definitely be back once it's safe!

Great prices. I found two beautiful dresses, a chic top and leather skirt for only $ 2 each!! So I paid $ 8 for 3 incredible outfits. I also found the perfect coffe table for my living room for only $ 15. Staff helped me, adjusting my car seats in order to fit in the piece of furniture. No tips accepted! I am sure you will find something great here to take home with you. If not, I can at least assure you, to find love and exceptional customer service.

Everyone at the store has gone above and beyond to help me. I recently relocated to the area and furnished a home. The staff has always been amazing and accommodating. I cannot say enough amazing things about this place. There’s always a good selection and fair prices.

Great staff and great management! I come here with my daughters frequently and they absolutely go out of their way to make sure that all of us leave happy, especially the children! Anytime I'm looking for a good bargain at a thrift store, this is the first place I will go to.

I just purchased a Vintage Singer sewing machine and its wooden table for $50 and an extra fee to have it delivered to my home in the same day. I was amazed on finding a grand item and also Peninsula Rescue Mission Thrift having a delivery service. The staff is excellent, very friendly and offered me to have it delivered or stored until I pick it up. Great customer service and very nice staff.

I stopped by the store today and got a good looking new Proform treadmill with a great price.This was my first time and I had a great experience at the store.Great customer service and the staff was very friendly. Great service and employees. Only problem I had was the mattress they strapped on to my car hood almost flew off on the way home. Other than that fair prices and a overall nice place to shop. Oh and the inside smelled a little weird.

Staff is friendly and helpful. Good selection (especially kitchen items). The back area warehouse is open to the public and has a junky garage feel to it but the place is great to find different things. You never know what you'll find there.

I own a small furniture store in Richmond, Virginia. I found the staff of Peninsula Rescue to be helpful, knowledgable, and courteous. The only thing better than that is the good work these folks are doing in the community. I am now inspired to join the fight against hunger and homelessness in America. PRM had great customer service. The man I worked with was very helpful. I got a great deal on a stove and the money all goes to a good cause . Will definitely be back from time to time to see what they have .

The main place my wife and I go. The staff is ALWAYS friendly and helpful. 9.5 times out of 10 we always leace with something. Love this place for the simple fact that the proceeds go to the Rescue mission.

I called to get food baskets for Thanksgiving & Christmas, lady told me I don't qualify. My husband gets disability we live off that. I can't work due to my health issues. I don't no why people who need help can't get it. It's so sad that a person is barely making it in this world & people can't get the help they need. So wrong. So disappointed😞

I love this thrift store! The staff is friendly and curteous. The prices are what you would expect from a thrift store, very good. This is a store I feel good donating to. Their mission is a worthy one. They don't gauge you with rediculous prices.
