Hound Haven is a terrific community gem ! Val is fantastic with the dogs and they love her ! The facility is clean and open and the dogs have lots of room to run and play. The groomers are gentle and attentive and my pup always comes out sooo soft and clean (he tries not to keep it that way for long!) If you need daycare or groomers this is a great option !!

I recently had my cat groomed here by Kylie and 5 stars is not enough. I couldn’t believe how friendly and kind she was and what a great job she did taking care of Daisy. I was able to meet the owner Val as well while I was in and you couldn’t ask for a nicer person to do business with. They offer grooming and daycare and are 3 minutes down the road from the shipyard. I won’t hesitate for a second to be a repeat customer.

Our experience was excellent! We have struggled to find a groomers for about TWO years that could execute a full puppy cut , but Hound Haven did so within our first experience perfectly! They reassure you and your fur babies needs and allow you to look inside the clean facility. 10/10 would recommend and I can’t wait to tell everyone to support this well deserving small business! You can tell here at Hound Haven they have established quality standards for you and your fur babies!

Val is an absolutely amazing person, she cares deeply about the dogs and gets to know every single one that comes in. The way she runs daycare is phenomenal, her groups are the happiest pups I’ve ever seen. Everyone gets along, there’s nap time, play time, enrichment etc. if you’re looking for somewhere your pup can go while you’re at work, need to get them good, tired and socialized, this is the place. I’ve been following Valerie for years and I wouldn’t go any where else❤️

My dogs and my parents dogs absolutely LOVE Val and the services they provide. Other daycares, the dogs are always timid with going, but seeing Val they absolutely love it and run to go play. Val treats every dog as her own personal dog and shows the love for each of them. Val advocates for each dog and ensures all the dogs are being cared for.

Reggie was excited to see Val again and get a quick tour of her new Doggie Daycare. Val was the manager at another daycare that closed. Glad we found her again!

My Buddy attends daycare here. He is a beagle, 3 years old. He enjoys being with Ms Val and playing with all of his other furry friends!!! He always comes home happy and ready for a nap!!!

I am biased, being the husband of the owner and investor, but our hounds love playing indoors and we have 2 excellent groomers ready to pamper, wash, dry, de-shed, trim and cut or grind nails. We can groom cats as well. Setup an appointment for grooming or daycare today!
