This Farm Fresh houses an international Seafood Market. Many items are fresh caught. I shop here only for the seafood. Squid to all types of fish, live lobsters, clams, octopus and so much more. Whatever your taste might be they probably have it, including somethings you have never seen and might want to try. The customer service is good at least all my experiences shopping here have been. They also have other meats. Beef, lamb, pork, chicken, quail and turkey.

This place sells products that have passed their expiration date. Be sure to check the date. When I actually went to return it, the customer service representative complained that I had to check the date and either buy the item or bring it in right away to get a refund. Isn't it up to me whether I buy something like ramen and eat it that day or later? What in the world? lol I eventually got a refund, but it's a strange market where they say all kinds of crazy things. Not only ramen but also other products are displayed with out of date items.

Bad service speak ok english and I went to check out live where 1 person in front of me finish check out the cashier left without letting us know the lane is close and we fricken waited around 6 minute just to reach the check out lane and we gotta wait in a new line. And some refrigerated food are expire and no one cares or take it off sale.

This place is ok. I love the fact that they have fresh food options like a open salad bar and chicken both friend and grilled. They also have cold few otpions like sandwiches or ready made salads. This is a great convenience if you need something quick for lunch or dinner. Their grocery selection is the same as you would expect in any store. I like that they have non dairy options as well for milk and ice cream. However the customer service is a hit and miss. Sometimes they are on it and sometimes they are not. The hours say 6am-12am but many times they have closed before 12 or opened well after 6 because of staffing issues. The prices are ok, but not competitive. This is a place I shop when I need something quick and don't have time to shop around for the best bargain. Overall rating a strong 3 stars.

Worse customer service ever. The deli staff keeps chicken for themselves. When you go in there is a sign that states 9.49 for 10 piece chicken. They will quickly post a sign that says you can't purchase 10 piece dark for 9.49 because they want you to buy the 9.99 chicken. Let's not buy from these crooks.

I have had very bad experiences with the cashierspecifically with the cashier RafaelToday 12/16/2023 I went to farmfresh and I spent $68.13 dollarsThe cashier Rafael treated me very badly, he doesn't know how to do his job well.He has a very rude attitude, he doesn't know how to talk to customers, and when I wanted to ask a question he just walked away, I asked to speak to the manager. Rafael said that I couldn't speak to the manager.Rafael has a bad attitude and should not be behind a register, people like him make you wish you would never invest your money in the great FarmFresh of America again.

Do not go here thinking this is a normal Farm Fresh, it is not. This store is similar to Emart as its a international food market. The place is packed full of various meats and vegetables that would be hard to find at your normal supermarket. The seafood department is expansive and they still have their famous fried chicken as well as the salad bar. My one complaint is the prices, they are not on par with some of the other markets as I feel there kind of high.

Customer service at this establishment is essentially non existent. Check the expiration dates on your salad dressings. The pre packed habanero peppers may seem ok but once you open the package- rotten on the other side that isn’t visible from the top. Thinly sliced Carrots and baby carrots typically are almost rotten by the time u take it home and open it and realize it. Prepacked blue clubs after being cooked- meat tastes like a sharp chemical taste. You shouldn’t clean and package crabs that already died and started its chemical breakdown.I go here because of the convenience of their time because Emart closes 30 mins earlier. The one guy with longer dirty blonde hair that works cashier sometimes - I can smell his scalp a mile away. Please work on your employees hygiene. The other white guy in a suit doesn’t use his words, at all. I left some items there and returned 20 mins later. My items were put back- so I was told. The Korean lady that was my cashier told me that I’d have to go shop for the items again Until I mentioned that I can’t remember the sauces I bought (south East Asian) bc I never bought them before. I asked her, “well who put the items back?” A guy in a suit (I’m assuming since he was dressed up is a store manager) happened to be in her line buying items for himself raised his hand. A few seconds later- he retrieved the 3 sauces from another counter only about 15 ft away. I then went to grab the salmon I left behind from the back of the store and as I proceeded to walk that way said, “ I think I can remember which pack I bought because I believe it was $13.51.” He said, “$13.82.” When I returned to the counter he was at that point behind the counter and bagged my sauces and salmon vertically in the same bag. There were no other words exchanged. I mean….come on. I spend about $150-$300 a week on groceries in this establishment. You all need training on customer care and at least say something about the inconvenience of a customer having to come all the way back. I’d even take something as simple as “Thank you, Have a nice evening!” A lot of your customers are business owners themselves that come here after dealing with people themselves all day. Especially your customers that come here towards closing. I would never treat my customers this way.When I initially purchased the items- there was another woman in line behind me. The time it would’ve taken the Korean lady to see that my items were still there and the time it took for me to walk to my truck in the parking lot and push my cart back to a cart slot was more than enough time for someone to yell or even bring my items out to me. But even after coming back. Words from employees were very sparse and they really didn’t care at all to be of service to help me retrieve the items. The most customer service I’ve gotten from the place is an occasional smile from the older Korean men that stand at the front end towards the end of the night. I’m so over this place!

I rarely go to this store. I went to get some mixed chicken (8) piece for a gathering at my job the next day. I left my job and arrived at 6:00 P.M. ordered the mixed chicken (3) there was chicken already there, but the gentleman told me I would have to wait six minutes; that's fine. I walked around the store about ten minutes. My son stood at the deli waiting. I came to the deli and the foreign lady said here is the chicken who is next. I got the three bags and when I got home. It was all FRIED chicken! all three bags, called up there and she said I don't know what to tell you we have no more baked chicken. I cannot eat fried which is why I asked for mixed. she asked the young man did I order that and he admitted it. The lady said call the manager tomorrow.I called the next day (morning) the day of the event while at work asked to speak with the manager he did not sound like he wanted to be there or be a manager. He said "This is the manager" I explained to him what happened. He said so what do you want me to do about it?" I said the least you can do is be understanding I cannot eat fried chicken and have wasted twenty dollars on something I do not eat. I said now I see why your employee's have the attitude that they have. He said "I don't have an attitude, but I can show you how to have one" I said a couple of nasty words and hung up on him.The only thing that is keeping that place is the Deli and Seafood Department. Two things in life. Everyone is replaceable, and God don't like Ugly and is not to proud about pretty.

I love this place. it's more of an international market so I love that I can get dark/light soy sauce, black vinegar, napa cabbage, all sorts of Chinese/Japanese/Korean foods. They also have the best ramen - bulduk curry and also bulduk ** double star spice.When I make pho, this is my go-to place for soup bones, veggies, and sirloin. The veggies are cheap and fresh. Also they have fresh rice noodles to make awesome Pho with.English may not be the first language of many of the staff but they are always willing to help me with everything I need or help me find anything I need to find. Regarding negative reviews - please have patience :-)Unlike other international stores, which won't be named, the store is very clean and the fish section has no odors at all.

I thought I'd check this place out recently. I've been to a few other Asian stores in the area, but hadn't checked out this Farm Fresh yet. I'm sorry I did. Their asian food selections were limited comparedto my regular spot (E-Mart) and worst of all, when I got home and got ready to make dinner, opened my rice and it had a bunch of bugs in it. (Guess that's why it was on sale)Definitely will not be going back and I suggest if you do, you double check your products before purchasing. Gross

Visited today. Everyone I came in contact with was rude and not interested in doing anything except lean and gossip. First person I came in contact with said she just started and didn't know anything so she sent me to register 1. At register 1 the overweight orange haired lady was extremely rude with an attitude, like she doesn't need a job. Maybe she was upset because I interrupted her and a coworker from gossiping. I told her she didn't have to be rude but it seems like she enjoyed it. The overweight orange haired lady whispered to her coworker and laughed as I walked away. She was the worst customer service representative I've encountered in years.

I’m usually dropping 60 or more when I come here. Today I paid for my groceries and decided before I left that I wanted to checkout the chicken. Took a quick look here comes a foreign woman profiling me asking forMy receipt because I changed directions. This is America isn’t it. To be treated fiat which is the reason I’m sure they are here . It's an international market now, mostly Korean but has other items you can use in South Asian dishes as well. The staff is nice, you never have to wait long in line, they are the only place that sells pork belly that I know and have really good NY style ribs. Their price on chicken is cheaper here too and they have a lot of different types of rice as well that actually taste good.

I love this place they have great selections of Asian goodies. Apparently most of their inventory are EXPIRED. We always had an EXPIRED product everytime we shop there. Called in before to let them know, they said we can return it but a hassle to drive 30 mins just to return less than $10 worth of foods. Hope MANAGEMENT WILL LOOK IN TO THAT ISSUE.

I love this international farm fresh. They have a hot bar with chicken and also Asian goods,salad bar..etc. The food in the grocery store is amazing. So many different ethnic foods. I love that the rows are labeled with food. I was able to get the stuff for my dishes easily. There are thousands of things I've never tried.. the frozen food selection had so many pre-made foods to try... Ok. I have to admit I was surprised to see appliances for sale.

My wife tried to buy some cooked chicken. waited in line, When she ordered the staff said they didn't have any chicken. Then they said it would be double the price. When she asked to talk to the manager he told her that's the way it is and walked away.We won't be shopping here anymore.

We've been shopping here for years, and it's usually awesome. One of the only places to get pokka coffee consistently. Today we got home and the chicken we got was very spoiled. We didn't bother checking before we got it, but the smell was very noticeable after being in the trunk for the drive home. It was like a $12 loss, so only a little bit of a loss. There's not really any way to contact them to tell them to pull it though, so I'd definitely check your stuff before you head to the register. Despite it we'll still end up shopping there, but way more cautiously and we may try an alternative like games for our meats.

Customer service is trash! Item on the shelf was $4.49. Rang up at $5.99. Asked for the difference back. Lady gonna say "I'll do it for you just for today." Umm, no ma'am. Your price on the shelf is what I'm paying. I got $1.15 back. I support this business a lot. I dont appreciate theft, just like they wouldn't.

3.5 is underrated and probably based on the old grocery store when it was just Farm Fresh. This place is a unique blend now of international and domestic groceries and is surprisingly clean and polished in its presentation. Comparing this to the Grand Mart locations in RVA and E Mart in Newport News, this location beats them all in terms of offerings, interior cleanliness and size. The main feature that's lacking though is a sit-down Korean eating area but they do offer the Farm Fresh takeout and fried chicken, which is great.

The store used to be clean and orderly, but after it was purchased it's getting worse. Hard to find some of the items I used to go there for, since it's turning into an Asian food store. Lots of stuff that is not labeled in English so I couldn't try something new if I wanted to. Aisle labels were wrong, big pallets blocking walkways, and lot of empty shelves.Deli staff at my visit was slow and didn't look like they cared about doing their job well. They misprioritized jobs and had nobody taking orders, even for food that was already in the display case. Lots of joking around and conversation in the deli, though, in plain sight of the customers. The chicken wasn't even good enough to be worth the wait.Pharmacy section is significantly reduced. I used to be able to restock most of the medicine cabinet alongside a grocery trip, but now I can't find some basic health items or supplements. Don't count on finding what you need unless it's an aspirin or bandage.There are plenty of other choices in the area, however. Choose one of those unless you want a weird hybrid Asian store/sketchy deli.

The parking lot is well lot and feels very safe. This store is extremely clean, and well stocked. The salad bar was fresh, clean, and kept filled.Everything was exactly where I expected it to be in the store, as I shop there regularly. Very convenient. Prices were very competitive with other stores in the area. I enjoy visiting this store on Chatham Drive very much.

Even under new management this is still farm fresh. Only thing different is now there's about 80 percent Asian items and 20 percent American items. If you looking for farm fresh fried chicken and buying and getting your seafood steam then this the place for American. But if not don't waste your time. The store is very very clean.

This has happened morethan once. I purchased 2 packs of short ribs on 23 Sept. I opened them this morning, 26 Sept and it is spoiled. I return to the store to get a refund and was told meat can only be exchanged the same day for a refund. However, I can get a store credit. I personally didn't understand why if the store admits the meat is bad but refuse to give me a refund instead store credit. I don't want anything from this store but am forced to buy items from here or rake a loss. I don't recommend shopping here, the perishables are highly suspect. Very disappointing.

Stop by this store to buy the 16 pieces of grilled chicken , but don’t have any so instead I gotten the 16 piece fried chicken. Only one door open on the left side. The door on the right side where the register is at by the door was locked and they say that door don’t open until the evening . Only one register open and the line was in the aisle way . People complaining , but I’m very patient so it didn’t matter. I bought my 16 pieces of fried clean and got a container of Crab salad and a couple boxes or mussels . This is how the fried chicken look if you want to go buy some and it taste good for it being bought out of a grocery store . You get (4) of each , wings, legs, thighs and breast
