It was a nice store. But the cashier had a nasty attitude when I should've been the one with an attitude. 20 people in the store and it took 10 mins for a second cashier to help. Then you mad because you have to help. She gonna tell me I dont have to throw the things up there. I said I'm not throwing them I'm trying to move fast because obviously you are not. I will not be spending my money there again.

This dollar tree in the Newmarket shopping center. Is the worst one I’ve been through. Cashiers are rude. None of the staff is friendly. The shelves are pretty much stocked. But representation is the key! I will go another 5 mins up the road or go to big bethel. Which is a much bigger store. Cashiers and staff are friendly and helpful. Sad, management allows this unprofessionalism at the Newmarket dollar tree.

Nice cared for store, & very respectable workers. My favorite go to store @NEW Market in Newport News, Va. The last 2 times & today I didn't find what I know Dollar Tree always have.This is my 3rd week & it wasn't shelved, don't know if discontinued , I ask & was told that they were out. 3 weeks, is unusual for Dollar Tree. Hope the next week I go there they will have the BOX GREEN TEA1OO COUNT. Thank you for your attention on this matter 😊

A change in Management would definitely perk things up at this location. There’s no Welcoming Vibes when you walk into this location and it’s usually filthy. Just start with smiling when on the premises....make the customers feel welcomed. The Manager sets the tone of their store. Just an opinion from a retail store manager.

This Dollar Tree is convenient to Jefferson Avenue, Mercury Boulevard and James River Bridge. They've had a change in management. And I think inventory control has slid a little bit. They've not been stocking items that I'm used to seeing ( e.g. Jennie_O Turkey Bacon ). Once they improve their inventory control then I can revise my rating to four stars

The staff isn’t very friendly. I usually go to another one further away just because I don’t like the service at this one. They get an attitude if you have a lot of items and do not say hello unless you say it first. The lighting is dim and depressing and when I went shopping today I SAW A RAT run across the floor twice!! Needless to say, I will not be back to this one again.

Rude staff cashier was very rude she had put my soap in with my food i asked for another bag please she slammed it on the counter and told me the price. The soap was leaking and im sorry my food im going to feed my kids i didn't want soap on would you?

This my neighborhood Dollar Tree so it's like I know almost everyone and u get what u pay for but I really like the Swanson can Chicken Ala King.....wonderful.

This place is nothing but a bunch of old hags with nasty attitudes. There is no welcoming at all when you enter the store and there is no customer service. Very rude!

I asked the guy who was stocking the shelves to get something down for me because it was too high in the air. He was very Rude. He needs to quit if he doesn't like his job. I will not shop there again

Rarely is this store fully stocked. Often it is disorganized, messy and products are out of date. The upside is that the staff is pretty friendly at this location.
