The store hosts 3 gaming machines but refuses to pay out winners. I had a small win on the machine, but when I went to the counter to cash out my $6.00 ticket, the guy at the counter said "I can't cash that out. You'll have to come back when there's a manager." If it was late at night, I would understand, but this was 5:30 on a weekday afternoon. In my case it is not worth the time or gas to come back, so they essentially stole my money. By hosting gaming machines and refusing to pay out, this store is actively committing fraud.

Whoever was working tonight Around 11, the female with all the piercings behind the counter was very rude. I asked what register to go to, she said this one I’m not moving and will be a second as she went to get food for somebody else. I wanted to set my items down at or close to the correct register and to also start a line as there was another person now waiting as well. She acted like I was in a hurry but just wanted to make a line and was very fine with waiting. The other customer in line now also was confused why she was being rude as well. Imagine how rude this employee was for me to actually take time to write a review about a 7/11..

I went there this morning and was waiting at the counter to check out. There were two woman at the pizza counter and I asked them if I could check out. The one young one came over and rudely said, You see me working over there? She proceeded to lecture me and I told her I don't need a lecture. She then told the other lady to check me out. Ignorance.

Worst 7-11 in Newport News. They act like they're doing you a favor. I'll go the extra half mile to go to Royal Farms. The people here no nothing about customer service.Update on 1/6- I was just told that she couldn't sell me anything or wait on me because she was by herself and too busy. How do you keep the doors open by refusing to take people's money? Definitely my last time in this 7-11.

The guy on night service is rude as ever. I was refused a coffee at the price posted on the window big as day. He was very short with me and told me rudely yea i know its on there but its no longer that price. I will never stop here again and nor will anyone i know.

Say they have no coins, sign for it was hidden on far end of counter (NOT at register that was being used.) They should inform when you go to pay with cash at every transaction. Didn’t tell me until transaction was completed and got no change. Should have rounded up to a dollar at least! This happened at 4:40 pm on October 22, 2020

The 2 ladies working at this location today were very unprofessional. They were both playing on their phones and acted as if the customers in line were an inconvenience to them. No personality whatsoever. I was there between 1230-1.
