We made a special order for our daughter's 1st birthday party and we couldn't be happier! Madison was amazing through the entire order process. The pricing was reasonable and they were able to match our theme and colors perfectly. We got SO many compliments on how delicious the 18inch donut was and of course our daughter loved her personal smash donut. We love Daily Fix!

First, I want to say that I think they have delicious food and most of my experiences have been good. That being said, I will NEVER place another special order with them. I ordered donuts for my daughter's birthday. I told them she loves pink, unicorns, and sparkles. I was told there would be unicorns involved in some way. When I pick up the donuts, it was literally just sprinkled donuts. Nothing indicating that it was special, for a little girl who loves unicorns. I was extremely disappointed. The donuts were delicious, as always, but I have seen other special orders on social media and wonder why my order wasn't important enough to actually be made special.

The only complaints about this place are that the hours aren't longer and that they run out of donuts too early. That being said if I could drag the family out of the house earlier this wouldn't be a problem. Donuts are amazing and the breakfast sandwiches are so big I can't finish them in one sitting. The fries are absolutely wonderful! Always made to order food with the exception of the donuts. Staff is really friendly and helpful. I have heard that the coffee is great but I'm afraid it will stunt my growth. After all I am only in my 50s so I could potentially grow ;)

I ordered a dozen donuts - 2 glazed and two other specific donuts. I asked her to fill the rest with fanciest you had. I should have picked them myself because they were all pretty plain considering what was available. I also ordered a croissant bacon egg and cheese. It’s huge! But the bacon was old and in crumbles. Fell out all over the place. Won’t get that type again! Customer service not the best either. She talks so fast I had hard understanding her. She could use some remedial training on dealing with customers.

Usually our experience here is amazing. Today I'm really disappointed. The majority of our food was so burnt you couldn't eat it. I got the ham egg and cheese as usual. The bread was burnt I received 1 very thin slice of ham that was so burnt it was it was crumbling apart. This is not the usual for this place. Did they change cooks? I really hope this isn't going to be the new normal because we love the Daily Fix.

Best morning stop in Virginia, well worth a drive.. Family owned and operated with southern hospitality.. my favorite is the Boston cream.. Their croissant bacon egg cheese is delicious too.. wish there was a biscuit option, you can also have a bagel if you choose.. Go early for the best selection.. there should be a limit to the amount one family can purchase so everyone can enjoy. There is a little window bar with seats you can sit to enjoy your foods if you wish. 😋

My family LOVES the daily fix. We can't help ourselves and treat ourselves often. Their donuts are fabulous. The breakfast sandwiches are NEXT level (get the croissant). Even the burgers are top notch. Not only all of that but their service is great too. They are always friendly and helpful. We are so glad there is a spot for us to indulge in treats so close to home!

Happened upon this gem while traveling from Williamsburg to Winston Salem. We had intended to get coffee at the gas station nextdoor when we spotted their sign. The coffee was fresh, hot and delicious. But the thing that prompted me to post were the donuts! Out of this world!! Definitely put this place on your “must visit”. Right off the Interstate and easy off/on for a quick stop. Highly recommend!Follow up - 1 year later and still fantastic! Great donuts and just wonderful people. Highly recommend!!

NEW to the area, found this little Gem in accident but it was a happy accident cause its quite possibly the best I've come across yet since moving to Virginia. The two girls working the counter were great welcoming and held a conversation well answered any and available questions with patients and Diligence. I live for breakfast so the fact that they serve breakfast all day until closing is Absolutely phenomenal. Coffee blend was rich but not to sweet to where it drowns out the natural notes of coffee. A flavorful full body medium roast with a nutty rich after taste followed by desired flavor choice to finish it off. Chefs kiss. 💋The breakfast sandwich was 🔥 HOT. something that is rare to find when getting breakfast at noon crispy delicious bacon in melty gooey cheese with a toasted Bagel was the perfect way to make my afternoon. Honestly the only downside to it all was that they had zero donuts left at the time I went in. however from the taste of eveything else i can kinda see whay theres nothing left i bet those donuts are out of this world also wish there was more room to sit down and eat cause i ate in my car....But it's okay that won't stop me from coming back. Keep up the awesome work!

ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS PLACE!Today is my birthday and I was craving a Daily Fix Famous Burger and Fries but had both kiddos with me in the car… what did I do you ask? Well I called my order in… paid… and the most amazing person by the name of Ashlyn B was ever so nice to bring my order out to my car with no questions asked, because she knew I had the kiddos. You can’t beat the love they spread, their customer service, and fantastic beverage and food options. If you can’t haven’t been to The Daily Fix…. YOU’RE MISSING OUT!

Great place to pick up coffee, donuts and huge apple fritters. Come early they sell it. They use a local roaster for their coffee. They offer normal coffee and espresso. They have red-eyes and black eyes a cute name for coffee with one or two shots of espresso added. I removed one star from atmosphere because the space is limited and they only have 3 stools to sit at a metal bar. I was meeting someone so we decided to sit outside at a picnic table around the building. That worked well. It would be nice to have better outdoor and indoor seating.

One weekday morning we had lost power for over 10 hours, so I got my little ones ready in the dark and we headed up to The Daily Fix for breakfast. I got a fabulous specialty fall espresso beverage, and my son was a little bummed to see no M&M donuts (Our son lovingly refers to The Daily Fix as "the m&m donut shop."), but was easily appeased with rainbow sprinkles. I told the ladies at the counter about his love for the M&M donuts and what he calls the shop. A man came out of the kitchen and explained that they would be happy to make an M&M donut any time. He talked about the donut making process and was super friendly. He saw my son was already eating his sprinkle donut so he brought us a small container of mini M&Ms. My son (like any almost 3 year old) was absolutely thrilled to have both a donut and a tiny bowl of M&Ms.That visit truly brightened our day, and in general our family LOVES this place! It is not an exaggeration to say everything we've ever ordered is fresh and delicious. Of course our favorites are the donuts - we especially enjoy the creative flavors. The breakfast sandwiches are phenomenal - try one on a croissant and you will thank me. The coffee is great, and the burgers will shock you that they came from a donut shop.The staff is always friendly, courteous, and actually seems to enjoy being there!

LOVE THIS PLACE!!Today I tried their cherry pie donut and good glory!! Soooo delicious. I normally only get the breakfast sandwich but this was a welcome gift. Hailey (sorry if that’s the wrong spelling) told me if I love cherry pie, which I do, I’d love this, and she is spot on.The service is friendly and warm and the food is always good. A wonderful local spot.

Such fun retro decor and friendly employees. Even the owners are hard at work when I come in. Their hot chocolate is yummy and I am in love with their blueberry donut, its my favorite! I highly recommend The Daily Fix! The breakfast sandwich was BANGING!! $4.50 for a croissant, egg, cheese, & sausage. They LOAD it down so its definitely worth the price. The only thing that needs work is the ordering. You order then wait until its ready and then get back in line to pay, it should be pay when you order. Friendly and fast so get there early cause the line gets long fast.

We frequent the DF (a few times a week) and have yet to have a bad experience since they’ve opened. Since google will only let me leave one review, here are some of the experiences I’ve had:•I branched out and tried a flavor of coffee I had never had before. After the first sip, Haley knew I hated it. Without hesitation and without me even asking, she offered to make me something new free of charge.•we’ve gone in a little late on a weekend, and the donut case was still fairly loaded. They asked us if we’d like any free donuts. They gave us a few dozen for us to take to New Kent Winery, where I briefly worked part time.•yesterday, we went in for the lunch rush (around 11:30am on a Monday) there was only one young girl working the counter. With a line almost out the door, the phone ringing off the hook(literally watched the same person’s name show up four times back-to-back), and online orders coming through, she did NOT break. Did it take a little longer to get our order in? Yes. Was every single item on our order correct? YES! Did she remember my name AND serve us with a smile? YES!!Can you name another place that would do ANY of the above??People often forget that there are real humans working and running a real business. Not a franchise, not a multimillion dollar operation where the CEOs don’t know anything that’s happening in their store. These people are locals, who are employing people we all know and love. Students of New Kent, teachers of New Kent, friends, aunts, etc. you know the people behind the counter. Get your panties out of a wad and go get a dang donut.

The service is amazing and quick. Make sure you have napkins for the burgers! And the French fries are amazing 👏The giant cinnamon rolls also serve as a nice cake alternative (when you forget 😋)

Do not miss this if you are in the area. My husband said that it was the best caramel macchiato he had ever had. I had the toffee but latte and it was perfect, no bitterness and not too sweet. The doughnuts were excellent.The staff was friendly and efficient.

Usually super nice and great customer service but had a bad experience this morning. Ordered online. Daughter picked it up and we were missing 2 items. I called to tell them we were missing the 2 items. I was not rude and didn’t have attitude because sometimes it happens. The lady said she would go ahead and drop the hashbrowns and my daughter could come pick them up. I said that was fine. Daughter went to get them and the employee, in front of my daughter, told another employee that I was “griping and complaining over hasbrowns.” I don’t think ordering, paying for items and then following through to get them was rude or complaining.

No pictures of my food because my food has been absolutely DEMOLISHED. Was in town helping my mom move from Atlanta to New Kent, we were honestly looking for a plain jane coffee shop for our daily fix, get it? But we found something so much better!Got a breakfast sandwich one day and a burger today before we head back to Atlanta. Both sandwiches were absolutely fantastic, and this is going to be a number one spot when we head back up here to visit my mother. Also those spritzer drinks are a MUST as well, plus those Apple fritters are HUGE. Highly highly recommend this place. If you pass this place and don’t bother to stop by, what are you doing? Five stars.

Stopped by for donuts and they only had a few selections left. It was late in the day so we expected that. However, when I asked what type were left, I was told that one of them was apple filled. I purchased it, got home and found that it was filled with some kind of really sweet cream. Not at all what I wanted and I ended up throwing it away because it was sicky sweet. Money down the drain. Please tell your employees that they really should know what they're talking about when they tell you the type of donuts you're purchasing.

The food is amazing! The burgers are always juicy, the fries are to die for & every donut knocks your socks off! Highly recommend stopping for lunch early as it does build a bit of a rush closer to lunch time. 5 star food every time!The girls at the counter however are not so great. We've been in several times now and each time they're either chatting or playing on their phones. It seems like unless you're a regular, there's no engagement with the customer: no greetings, no small talk, no eye contact... just blank stares until you tell them what you want. They're not necessarily rude, but they're definitely not welcoming either.Our first trip there I thought maybe it was just because they were busy so I waited to leave a review, but after 5+ trips, I can see it's the unfortunately the norm.

Visited this place for the first time because I was desperate for coffee and it was closest to my house. The service was terrible. The person serving donuts was friendly, but the girl making coffee was SO slow and extremely unfriendly. The donuts were so sweet we couldn’t finish them. They were out of lids for hot coffee so most people were getting iced coffee. I would not recommend unless you are desperate for coffee.

Have enjoyed the food here during the Colonial Downs meeT. Definitely the place to get your donut tb fix and breakfast sandwich fix. Only thing that could be better is the attitude of the employee. Employee took the order wrong and I spoke up to correct the order stating that wasn’t what I ordered, nicely not upset or anything and the girl retorts with an attitude well it’s her second day give her a break. I was left without words as this response was uncalled for and not necessary. It’s the trouble with young children these days.
