Took my Golden in and got him groomed and couldn't be more pleased. Ashley took him back and made sure he was taken care of! His cut looks fantastic and she was able to get him to behave better than anyone else he has ever been too. I will always recommend and go back to Shaggy Paws!

I was kinda nervous taking my pom to a new groomer, but once I stepped in the door of Shaggy Paws 🐾 it was love at first sight.Everyone was so polite and professional. They made Hercules feel right at home and he also came out with the best grooming that he ever had. I would highly recommend that you take your four legged family member there. 🐾

I would highly not recommend this company. They have canceled my appts numerous times for reasons that are 3 to 4 weeks out (which does not make sense as the excuses that are used) They have texted me at 9pm on a a Sunday to cancel my appt yet could not fit me in for another month. I supposedly paying for “the works” on my pup such as brushing teeth, clipping nails etc. my pup went to the vet and was told that his teeth have not been brushed and his nails were long. They do not explain their prices. My pup cries when I drop him off and is nervous when I pick him up. When I bring my pup in or call they treat you like you are a burden. They are rude and not customer friendly at all. I decided to end my professional relationship with them when the owner of this business hung up on me after I explained to her that I wanted to end my relationship with them due to instants in the past. To save your money and sanity do not take your pup here.

What a cute place with a great selection of dog food, treats, and accessories! We take our dogs for baths/nail clippings. I am always nervous to leave my babies somewhere new, but Tiffany loves on them and made me feel comfortable that they are safe. Both workers I have been in contact with have been so good to my dogs. They listen to my (endless) list of questions/requests with a smile, and my dogs leave smelling great!

Outstanding experience! Expert groomers, detail oriented as well as kind and compassionate. Local, women owned small business, who consistently put the competition to shame! Not only do they offer excellent grooming services but they have a large variety of specialty pet products including treats and food. Instead of driving 30+ minutes to Richmond or Williamsburg, give Shaggy Paws a try, you won't be disappointed!

I have been taking my three dogs here since they opened and I have had the best experiences each time! Tiffany and the team truly care about my fur babies, and they ensure they are taken care of properly. Most recently, one of my dogs Maggie was groomed and I received a message from Tiffany expressing concern of Maggie's ears, teeth and her hotspots. She took initiative to treat Maggie with medicated soap during her bath so she would be comfortable due to the irritation from her hotspots. Tiffany also offered some great advice and products for Maggies dental health. I cannnot thank you enough for taking care of my babies!

great baths, sweet groomers. they never answer the phone and you have to wait weeks for an appointment, sanitation cut wasn't functional at all, and rescheduling is a nightmare because again, they don't answer their phones.
