I bought a pre made chicken salad sub with an expiration date of tomorrow. My husband took a few bites and threw it away. It had a nasty sour taste. I'm so angry that now he is sick. From now on Dixieland has all our business. This is the 3rd royal farms he's gotten sick at. Eat here if you want to be poisoned. The store doesn't care and the staff are idiots that don't care. I'll die of hunger before I ever step into another royal farms.

This is a nice spot to do a 10hr at. Food is really good. I had got 3 wings and the potato fries. $10 not bad at all. Bathroom was so so clean. Just need a little sweeping. Lot is big more then enough room to straight line back into any spot. It about 20 parks.

So the main menu item is what Fried Chicken and what are the Out Of ? Fried chicken LOL .So then I order sub, I ordered Meat like I always do. I get to where I can eat it and guess what.....No Extra Meat. A little extra training might be in order here..........

These fries are built like the grandma on a wheelchair from spongebob.. came in around 11 the employee who makes the food was just talking to a customer Loud while there's customers inside and didn't even notify when my food was ready. got home ready to eat, and then i open this i lose my appetite .

Truckers STAY AWAY!!! This place is useless for truckers. They don’t accept any cards but comdata. I tried to use even regular debit, or credit and the card reader won’t work. They need to update this dump. I won’t ever stop here again. Driving up to the next one. I don’t recommend.

Was in last 10 miles of trip home from Georgia and wanted some chicken for dinner. I went inside and ordered 10 tenders, 2 breasts 2 wings ($45) and then went to restroom. When I came out I heard them calling order numbers out beyond my number so I went to ask if I had missed mine while in restroom. The white woman working the chicken counter told me Yes and I apologized because she had been yelling out nUmbers when I came in and I could tell she was exasperated. I tried to engage her in conversation and she was nice saying at least she wouldn’t be able to yell at her kids when she got home. I did not hear her tell me it was going to be 10 minutes for the tenders. I waited a little while longer as numbers above mine were called and retrieved. I approached the counter again and she scolded me saying that she had just told me it was going to be 10 minutes. So in the meantime I helped a non English customer order her 3 thighs through the kiosk ($11). I also went outside to let my boyfriend and our dog (in the car for 10 hours now) know that I was sorry it was taking so long. I went back inside and a few minutes later I saw the tenders coming up out of fryer. Finally… I thought. Well it turns out the woman working gave away all the breasts so now I have to wait for 7 more minutes or get a refund. I can’t wait any more so I get in line and wait some more to get a refund for 5 breasts and 2 wings. It’s $15 but it won’t load back to my card. Turns out your POS system has crashed because nobody else can check out either. I ask for a cash refund, was told no because her drawer would be short. Asked for a store credit was told no. By now the white meat only has a minute left to be ready so I go back to the rude woman at the chicken counter and tell her that I want the breasts and wings after all since the system is down. She grinned. I got my chicken and left. I was inside the store for 30+ minutes.The man cooking was working harder than anyone in there and the chicken was delicious but there are many failure here. The cashier had her name tag turned backwards obviously embarrassed to be there, the chicken woman shouldn’t have a job in customer service at all. The young man in green shirt was overwhelmed but nice enough. If he was the manager , please un-tie his hands!! Several people walked in and back out while I was there, one customer wished me good luck and yet another commented on chicken woman’s “piss poor”attitude. I have waited 24 hours to write this. I spent my career in the restaurant industry from assistant manager to director of operations at a single big brand. I can’t understand why projections for fried chicken weren’t better for the team, can’t understand why this team wasn’t better prepared for the day. Perhaps it’s staffing… but we all know people work for good leaders not just a check especially in this day and age.I don’t want a coupon or anything else from you, except maybe you fix this and prevent future guests from all this hassle. Never again chicken customer. Yes I’m a ROFO card holder.Time of visit approximately 2pm on 10/22/23.

Gas is usually five cent more a gallon then across the road. Store is average, busy and has the usual items in the store.Todays gas prices was $2.89 but across the road $2.84????

If this is the Royal Farms in Wallop near Chincoteague, it was awful. The cashier was talking to a friend about someone signing a birth certificate when he wasn't the father and so much more inappropriate content. She was rude. It was an inconvenience to wait on us while having this conversation. The person working the food section was feeling all the chicken, maybe to see if it was warm. Who knows why, but he didn't ask if he could help us so we didn't get any food.

I joined years back for the gas program back then the Rofo's were clean, easy to use, and working. Now most days it's dirty inside and out, the gas pumps are hit and miss some work some don't and the car washes are usually a mess. I barely stop any more and each time I do it's isn't any better. Sad. :( they really could beat wawa if they invested in existing stores.

On route 13 this is a very good truck stop, with all what you need, for a break or even a 10hrs reset, you can find very good food, convenience store is pretty good, recommended

The pleople that work here are just pathetic they treat you bad , I was parked here for 2 days (truck driver ) The ladies From the KITCHEN very bad costumer service and the manager it was in.a very bad mood and just complaining about costumers . Dirty restrooms . And bad food 😳

Love their food, staff is friendly. Some staff just can't handle pressure of being busy I guess, ordered Mto sliders and they never get it right. I'm all about people earning a better wage, but they don't deserve it if they can't get the basics right. There's zero accountability.Update the service has been a million times better, haven't had any issues since last post, even with the influx of tourist (being busy) the orders have been correct and timely.

If there was an option for “zero” stars, this location would receive it. Two employees present, neither wanted to work. The store was not clean, items stocked backwards so you could not read labels and the food prep area was dirty and not in order. Order was incorrectly filed and the worker’s attitude was one of not wanting to be present or to be working. Your employees should match your slogan about your “world famous chicken” because without great employees, you will have no one to serve that chicken to!

This place is filthy! The toliets in the restrooms look as if they have never been cleaned since this place opened! I went by the deli and there were dead flies inside the containers were the fried chicken and potatoes were. Shouldn't have been surprised because there were flies all in the bathroom and in the rest of the store!!! Get gas and and items that are prepackaged. You're better off using the bathroom outside!

Very nice place clean store although soap and water dispenser did not work in the men's room,,, no biggie. But if you want me to wear a mask in your store please post a total number of death in the US for 2020 and 2019

I'm a truck driver from Atlanta, GA. and I had the best experience. This black girl fixed my sandwich and changed here gloves several times. The sandwich was excellent. Keep up the good work. See you soon.

3 stars for this place. Could've had 4 or 5 if their bathrooms were better. The women in my family couldn't use the bathroom becuase both toilets were clogged/out of order. As for the men's, same problem. Easily clogged.

Clean store, pleasant employees. The fried chicken there is much better than the better known places that I've been to. For the food you get the prices are reasonable.Will definitely return !

We tried the pulled chicken sandwiches. It wasnt really pulled chicken at all. The woman fixing the food was so slow, you could tell she hated her job and didnt care about the line of people waiting for food. The unsweetened tea was I'd and sour. What a waste of money. So disappointed.

The restrooms were great but the staff were arguing outloud, complaining with each other and made it feel very uncomfortable!?!? Not sure if it was personal or business related!? Again, very unprofessional!?!?!🤷‍♂️

Truckers: There's truck parking although it'll likely be filled. There's diesel although there will likely be trucks parked in the fuel island. There's food although it's all left out and there's no shortage of flies buzzing around inside. There's a restroom although it's likely occupied and not well kept. But like the sign says, "truckers welcome" and they accept Comdata, efs, tcheck, etc. Seriously, you'll probably just end up wasting time pulling in here. Good luck!
