The store was dirty, merchandise was on the floor in every aisle and the cashier was so slow that there were 18 lined up waiting to check out. I left without even looking for the item I needed. This summer the store was clean, well organized and (a different) cashier was friendly & efficient.

Typical Dollar General. Seems to always be cluttered, especially where the makeup and nail polish is. That are is also where the cashier needs to walk through to get to the cash register. Whoever runs that place needs to try to better the layout; there has to be a series of communication that can happen to improve things. Other than that, the staff is nice enough and they have an affordable selection of many different items.

The staff is usually very nice for the most part. Management could use some training in customer service communication skills. But i don't put that on them so much as I do the company, as it seems to be a general wide issue.

One of the most organized DG's I've been to. Most of them in our area are a mess! Must be a problem with upper management, the stores in my area never seem to have enough employees.

The Dollar General Store is a great store! This one in Montross is Disgusting and Embarrassing! The GM of this store needs to come here and take a long look, shut it down and clean and organize the store! I really hope that this is seen and someone comes to help! Make Dollar General Great Again!!

A lot of merchandise in the aisle hard to get around especially if you're handicapped but store is clean and you get waited on pretty quickly.

I love Dollar General. I shop there all the time. The workers are always helpful and professional. The products I need are usually in stock and reasonably priced.

This is the messiest store I've ever been in. Im not even exaggerating. Aisles are crowded with boxes or displays. Toys and other items are always laying on the floor. It's an accident waiting to happen.

Cluttered and very unorganized. Boxes in aisles blocking the aisle. Very much a fire hazard. No organizing on shelves. Staff is friendly but store is a mess!

WHEN LOOKING FOR A CELL PHONE HOLDER FOR MY WINDOW. DID NOT SEE ANY ON THE SHELVES SO I ASKED ONE OF THE EMPLOYEES AND THEY SAID WE HAVE THEM BEHIND THE CASHIER. SHE KNEW EXACTLY HOW MUCH IT COST $5 THEN THE FIVE STORES THAT DAY AND NOBODY HAD THEM WHAT AN AWESOME DAY.
