Every time I buy produce here it's rotten. Just had to throw out a whole bag of avocados I bought two days ago and my fruit because they all had mold.

This place always has empty shelves and food that is close to expiration. I went shopping for my weekly groceries, and wanted some chicken. Every package was marked "managers special" had pools of blood dripping, and one package was rancid. The smell of rotting meat was disgusting. Do better Food Lion. Decided to do my weekly shopping at a different store.

This store is very pricey. I believe it's because it's the only grocery store for about 25 miles. Most of the staff there are not that helpful although I did have one lady at customer service go the extra mile for me during thanksgiving. The store is clean but the most annoying part is the layout. They have have stuff spread out through the whole store and it's really hard to find what your looking for... I hate shopping there for that reason.

Had Sushi Little Sumo Roll. First time buying sushi at Food Lion. Unfortunately, it was not good at all. $12.49 for the roll. If this food lion is going to play in the sushi arena, you are going to have to step it up. Major improvement needed.

It was ok, not my favorite place to shop. I love Kroger's. I just shop to get a few things.They don't have enough people helping with pick-orders. The pick-orers I would give 2 stars. They don't have enough merchandise stocked.

Wonderful place to work if you enjoy being abused by Julie, enjoy around the clock moody tantrums by the manager as you get paid the lowest wages around. The turnaround on workers here is incredible as most can't take the abuse, most last no more than a week.

My new grocery store. Staff is helpful and courteous. I find this food lion to be much less crowded than the other two I frequent. The beer selection is top notch.

Food is overpriced and the people who stock the shelves are the ones who used to work at dollar general and the shelves were always empty and it's starting to be like that here. Today we have a situation with no sausage in the store. I gotta drive 20 miles out my way due to lazy people. Avoid this dump

Samantha in the deli renewed my face and customer service workers! My husband was supposed to order a cake yesterday and he did not. My son's birthday is tomorrow, Christmas Eve and she was so helpful. I feel like this season customer service workers are have just been rude. The quiet quitting thing is a real thing and I completely understand the reasons. But the other day I went to Petco and tried to order crickets and I was made to feel like I was a complete inconvenience and with my ADHD. I overthink everything and it really bothered me. Anyways, Samantha was so helpful and I was completely crazy going on and on frantic I wouldn't get my cake she just made such a good experience for me and I want to thank Samantha and deli

I’m new to the area and had a very friendly cashier help me with my purchase. She told me to put my phone # in and said “you’re in now. When I purchased my item today a different cashier said my number was “no good” and to put another number in when I said I didn’t have another number she seemed put out, having said’ “I don’t believe this”. I was embarrassed and will not return to the store.

Name the place Food Line.Wanted to get Gift Cards that were not to be used for alcohol or tobacco. They are never available. Wanted to get 6 pack of small bottles of FL tonic water. Rarely available. I would have gone to Ashland if I had the time

No doubt the best Food Lion I've been to. Staff are awesome, especially the cashiers. I've witnessed multiple times when a customer (myself included) has forgotten a bag and the cashier has quickly run out to give the customer their bag. I've been in a rush and they're great with me and my kids. Wonderful staff, great store!

I love this Food Lion store in Montpelier VA. The crew in this store is amazing. They are always polite and helpful and I hardly ever have to wait in line. They almost always have what I need as well. The store is always neat and clean. Highly recommend this Food Lion #2663

Friendly staff. A bit overpriced. I only stop there when I need a few things. The refrigerated section (where the butter is stored) always has a strong mildew smell. You have to check closely to make sure you're not buying something expired or spoiled and there's often dust on the canned good tops. It's not the worst store, but definitely could be better.

Best, cleanest and most efficient store I have been in for a long time. Every isle was open for checking you out. Great experience, we live probably 20 or 30 miles from this store but will definitely be back, real soon. I would rate this store 100 out of 100

Multuple items missing And random items in your bag. The items.missing were imperative for what you were making...which you now cannot make! Then you call only to be put on hold for 45 minutes and never get anything resolved! I WILL NOT ORDER TO GO GROCERIES FROM HERE AGAIN.

This was a well stocked store, and I was easily able to find what I was looking for. Moreover, it was so well staffed that I felt like the cashiers were fighting to get me in their lane. I used to be a model, but that was long enough ago that I am going to chalk this up to great customer service.
