We stopped here on the way to Warm Springs and this is absolutely a delightful little spot. We both remarked that the breakfast food we bought here resulted in a really wonderful morning. Local meats and produce as well as lovely pantry friendly options. Would absolutely come back if we pass this way again.

Great selection both of standard grocery foods and unique specialty foods that not commonly found in other places. Great variety of locally-produced stuff too. Awesome to have in the area.

Highlands Roots Market is a definite great addition to Monterey Va The owners Rachel Hiner and Andrew Clark (and of course their little helpers Jett and Theo) have provided us with a well stocked store filled with fresh local produce and many other good items. Their love of food is evident in this wonderful market.
