This serves as the office for the campground as well. Nicely stocked store with a good selection of items for sale. Staff is friendly and helpful. They suggested several things to do in there area that were dog friendly. One highlight was to direct us to a local orchard to get fresh peaches. There were so good.There is no cell service, internet, wifi, or cable at this campground but the entire area is so beautiful who cares!

This is a must stop if passing by. They are so friendly. Whether showing up on a bike or driving up after a hot hike they are welcoming, clean and a little piece of heaven!

Great little store with friendly staff. I bought some local honey that was so good. Lots of selection. If you have kids, the stocked pond is perfect for them to catch their first fish. They rent cabins as well and it’s just a great place to unwind and unplug!

I’m not sure who the “nice staff” are that are referenced in other reviews, but I stopped in today and the 2 women working were about as unfriendly as they come. No greeting, no thank you, nothing. Won’t go back. I’d advise folks to go to a genuine VA country store to experience Southern manners. This spot doesn’t have it.

We've stopped by there several times with our MINI Cooper club. We always inundate the little store and the staff really hustles to get us out of there in a timely fashion. Which the do very well. They have so much neat stuff, it's certainly worth a stop if you're ever in the area!

Super nice staff and clean restrooms. Lots of little goodies to buy in the store (from camping supplies to trinkets to snacks).There is NO CELLULAR SERVICE at this location and they do not offer WiFi.

We stayed at the campground last week and had a great time!The County Store has a wide variety of items on hand in a very fitting atmosphere!Been stopping here since the 1970’s!

This place is cute and has not only a collection of cute mountain swag and supplies, but also the only public bathroom in the area. The problem was that we had the impression that it would have a deli and/or other food available for lunch. However, the only offerings were pre-packaged sandwiches – and the electricity had just gone aout (a common occurrence, the proprietor assured us) – so we didn’t quite know how well refrigerated they had been in the unspecified amount of time they’d been in the case. There were also chips (expired, my daughter informed me) and pop tarts (which she chose for lunch). In conclusion: pack your own lunch if you’re venturing into that area, and stop off for a jar of local preserves and the bathroom.
