So I stopped to get gingerbread cookies and try a piece of the cake I had seen listed online. Ended up getting a couple sugar cookies also and a peppermint mocha coffee to go with it. The cookies were good. The gingerbread a little to soft but the flavor was good. The cranberry cake was very sweet and the cake was a heavy cake. The peppermint mocha coffee was not good, I ended up throwing that away. Inside is decorated very nice and the service is excellent. They have sandwiches also so next time I’m in the area I’ll have to try one of those.

This particular SML Coffee House is in a beautiful location. You can enjoy views of the water from inside or on their deck. I will say, the coffees my friend and I ordered were not the best. The beans were definitely burnt. I believe they were working short staffed that particular day. I could tell the batista was running back and forth, so I would consider it a fluke and definitely try again. They have a wide selection of sandwiches and treats available and as far as I could tell everyone seems to be enjoying the food. I will definitely be back.

Such a sweet place! Very cozy inside and plenty of space with one room with tables and another whole space with couches and more seating. So many pastries to choose from that all looked amazing! We got blueberry muffins, raspberry croissants, the breakfast wrap and breakfast bagel, as well as a regular drip coffee and salted caramel latte. Everything was really good, especially the latte. Wish we could have gone more on our trip!

If you love cheesecake, VISIT. THIS. PLACE. Fresh cheesecake, not too dense but not too light, and great flavors. I bought 3 slices to take home and was planning to serve them to guests, but they didn't make it- they got devoured well before our guest arrived. The service was also prompt and friendly. A family member is supposed to stop by today and is traveling from the SML area- I really hope they are bringing cheesecake from SML coffee house with them!

It's no secret, I love me some coffee and coffee houses. While I have lived in the area for a few years now, it took me a while to try the SML Coffee House.Lots to love here!Great coffee ☕️ Yummy deserts and a wide range of pastries 🍰 and as a bonus, they have spiced apple cider donuts 🍩A great family style room with sofas, TVs, and kickin wifi.An inside seating area led to the outdoor patio area. It was cold and gray when we went, so it would be great on a sunny day.Bonus points for being able to make a wide range of fancy pants coffees ☕️ including a traditional Machiatto.

The coffee and food was delicious, definitely worth it!! We went in with 3 children and they were very accommodating, the girl behind the counter was very sweet and helpful. The gentleman in the kitchen, I believe it’s the owner came out to check on us multiple times, in spite of it being a self serve restaurant, he even want as far as to turn on some cartoons for one of our children! Highly recommend!

First trip here was fine but nothing to write home about. Food was fine.Came in the summer and it was packed. Service took forever but I was with good company- first trip was no big deal.2nd trip over the Christmas holiday season. 2nd trip we were the only customers in and they couldn’t serve any coffee drink that required espresso and were out of the apple cider presented on the menu as well. Decided to order deserts-which looked AMAZING. Dig into the Christmas brownie cheesecake slice and there is a hair embedded in the brownie!One last attempt on the 23rd December. Shop was relatively busy. I’ve typed all this waiting for my 2nd order in the shop and the experience has confirmed it’s the absolute last time any of us will patron this particular coffee shop. It’s two days after the 2nd trip. I’m here with a party of 12. Don’t come here if you have a large party. The workers have all been friendly but the quality of service and product and speed of service have been very pitiful.

Was told by local family that this is the only place to go for coffee and they were so incredibly right! The line was practically out the door and the baked goods were amazing! I'm pretty sure the cinnamon bun I got is larger than my face! Will absolutely visit again when in the area.

Such a cute coffee house! It has a very cozy atmosphere and I love the Christian music they play. They have wonderful customer service and staff! Beautiful views and tasty drinks! It is a must stop at SML! We enjoyed some pastries and a s’mores mocha!

A couple months ago my wife and I went to the coffee house. My wife was on her way to work in Healthcare at Westlake velocity care. She was about to embark on another long 12 hour shift. We didn't realize that the coffee house was closed we read the sign on the door and turned to get back on our car without knocking. The owner rushed out and waved us down. He said he saw my wife dressed in scrubs and wanted to thank her for her service in health care. He ushered us in the door with a warm smile and a warm cup of coffee. Needless to say this made our day. She got just what she needed. We have gone several times and always have gotten great service. Their glazed croissants are incredible.

Best cafe handsdown!! We were visiting from out of town and they were very helpful with providing ideas of what to do and where to visit. Birthdays were mentioned in passing and they went out of their way to provide us with treats. The ladies were so sweet and the food was amazing.

Had the cinnamon roll, 3 types of cheesecake, and the Cabrese sandwich. The Cinnamon Roll and Cabrese were on point! Highly recommend.The creamcicle, butterscotch, and strawberry lemonade cheese cakes were ok, but not on par with the expectations set by our previous dishes. We had to search for the described flavors through a dense and slightly grainy cheesecake.While slightly disappointed we will return and hope to try other treats in the near future.
