Very nice experience. One of the owners brought my dogs back to me and offered to come get them if i could not handle them . I was recovering from knee replacement. So the dogs were boarded for 3 weeks. I plan on doing some traveling in the future. Normally, I had a house sitter, but she moved. It's nice to have a safe, affordable place to leave my very small dogs and maybe my birds.

We have been taking our four pups here for 2 years and Leslie and her husband are always friendly and accommodating even for a last minute stay due to a death in the family. The dogs spring out of the car to get pets from Leslie when we arrive. We have been using Leslie at Camp Happy Tails for years and have even sold doodle pups to locals who also LOVE her! Our oldest Granddoodle is no longer able to stand for grooming and takes constant pain meds; so Leslie came to us! The dogs were thrilled to see her and she was able to let Gabby move and squirm as her old bones needed. It was extraordinarily kind and thoughtful of Leslie and we all appreciate it more than we can say.

They were very inexpensive. My American Akita seemed very happy and well taken care of. He had some play time with some smaller dogs, they said. They clipped his nails, trimmed his ear hair, and gave him a bath for cheap. He smelled and looked nice. I would recommend them and use them again.

Great service and pricing. Always get the dog bath and grooming before pick-up. Absolutely the best deal in town and what's more the shampoo smell lasts for weeks vs pet spa when it's gone in 2-days. Our dog loves it here and extremely kind, courteous and supportive owners and staff.

Leslie & Camp Happy Tails is the best! I have used her several times & I am always comfortable leaving my fur babies there! She takes very good care of them & follows whatever instructions I have for feeding them. She also grooms my Husky which isn't an easy job. It takes about 2 1/2 hours to bath dry ,& brush him. He isn't nervous or scared when I pick him up! He even gives her kisses when we leave! That says alot about her connection & patience she has for the animals.

We are new to the area and this was the first time we have ever had to board our 10 year old dog. When I originally called, the woman on the phone was friendly and helpful. Upon drop off, we pull up and a male walks by us and says, "Hi" (not really all that friendly but moreso like he was in a hurry) and just continues to walk into the facility and leaves the door open... when we make our way in, he's sitting at a desk and very dully asks for our dogs name and some info. Okay, not a big deal, maybe that's his demeanor, but any other time we've gone to a vet or animal facility, the employees are verly welcoming with a cheerful attitude and maybe even pet your dog. We didn't leave our dog there with a warm, fuzzy feeling and I was anxious the entire weekend we were away. A part of me regretted even leaving him there and not just calling another facility for openings. Come pick up, same male speeds down in a golf cart and walks by, opens the door and is scrounging around for our notecard he wrote on... when he found it and presented me with the total, I went to hand him my credit card and he said they only take cash, venmo, and listed a few other things, but not CC. I told him that I wish somebody would have told me that, so luckily my husband and I ended up having enough cash between the two of us to pay for the visit right then and there (I don't use venmo, or any other similar app, and I generally don't carry a lot of cash on me). He brings our dog out and when my husband is walking him to our car, he realizes our dog has a mark on his nose, so he walks back in and the guy gives him some story about how their cages are set up and the dogs can bark at one another and basically, our dog did it to himself from their cage. Okay, that's understandable, but wouldn't you think to tell the owner that upon pick up? Mention it? Or maybe even call while the animal is in your care, let's call it a courtesy call, and just say, "Hey, he has a mark on his nose from the cage, and we will treat it accordingly..." some sort of acknowledgement that you're not returning our animal in the same condition you got him?! Needless to say, we will not be bringing our dog back here if we ever need to board him again. For this being the first time he has ever been boarded, I feel horrible this was his experience. I can't speak for how they treated him while in their care, but I cannot relate to the other positive reviews based on our experience with this place.

My wife was a little nervous boarding our deaf blue heeler for the first time a few months ago, and Leslie was so professional, positive, and helpful throughout the experience. She took great care of Ava, and Ava had an opportunity to run and play in a safe environment with other dogs. She was one happy dog when we picked her up, and we are grateful to Leslie for caring for her while we were away. We have been back twice since then and plan to be back in the future.

Our puppy, Lucky, loves going to Camp Happy Tails. He loves going to daycare. Recently, we did a 3 day board with a bath on pick up day. Leslie is very accommodating, super easy to deal with and the dogs loves love her. I wish she was a little closer to the Westlake area where we live but she’s worth the drive when you know your dog loves going.

My family and I left our 2 dogs with Leslie for 3 days while we went out of town to visit family. I was hesitant since this was our first time boarding them, but when we picked them up I could tell they had a good time and really bonded with Leslie! She was very easy to get in touch with while we were away, and she took great care of our babies. Will definitely use Camp Happy Tails again with no hesitation! ❤️

The owners are super nice, they love all animals and have many. They live on the property so your animals are always taken care of. Leslie is a great groomer and doesn't discriminate on breed. She has renovated the building and placed a mural up which is super cute. This place is low priced, and you can get discounts on multiple pets for boarding.

This was our first time boarding our pup so we were super nervous about leaving him. Camp happy tails was highly recommended to us so we gave it a chance and we were not disappointed! Our boy did so well and everyone was SO nice. Koa was definitely in good hands and can’t wait to come back next time!

I boarded my 1.5 year old dog here for 3 nights. It was recommended by another kennel that we had previously used but was booked already for the dates I needed. The woman who owns the place was very friendly and helpful over the phone.When I arrived to drop off my dog, my first impression wasn't great as it smelled like a dirty humane society and my dog was very scared and tried to run as soon as we stepped foot inside.***HOWEVER, when I went to pick her up, she was so well cared for, didn't smell bad (even though I expected her to), and seemed so happy. She ran to me to greet me but then also ran back to get pets from the owner and it was clear she had bonded with her and had received a lot of attention while she was there. It's very clear this woman loves the dogs she cares for, and she said she had been in business for 17 years so she knows what she's doing too. She worked with me on pickup time and waited an extra hour and a half when I was unexpectedly running late. In addition, the pricing was cheaper than any other places I called in the area.I plan to board her here again next time I need to go out of town and would recommend to friends and family.

My husband and I have been taking our 13-year-old lab to a veterinarian clinic for boarding for the past 12 years. He was always cared for exceptionally well and really did enjoy his stay. With the boarding no longer available at the clinic we were out to find a new boarding facility for him being that he is elderly he needed special care and a little bit more attention. We contacted Leslie and she agreed right away to have us come out and take a look at the kennel and speak with her a little bit about our dogs needs. We just picked him up from a seven night stay there and he could not be any happier he felt right at home and as we came in the door he was getting attention from Leslie and was acting as though he was right at home. She listened to all of our requests and put all of them in action to make his day just as he was at home here with us she works very very hard and really does put her heart and soul into taking care of the pets she is boarding we will not be taking our dog anywhere else other than to Leslie from here on out. She followed all of our prescription requests feeding times walk times to keep his hips moving and we can tell a difference she did just as what we asked. There are lots of fancy boarding locations that will give your pets bottled water TVs to watch etc. but that is not necessarily always what your pet needs and Leslie can offer you what your pet needs at an absolutely great rate for what she does.

Best ever kennel! We've been bringing our Goldens here for the past 20 years. The kennels are clean, the property is lovely, and the owners are friendly and knowledgeable. I have always felt very safe leaving my Goldens with the Camp Happy Tails family ❤

Took my cat shadow here for grooming, she is long haired and became pretty matted.. She did an amazing job with her! She feels and looks so much better and smells amazing! She even let her hang out for the day while I worked. Highly recommend for grooming!

We just left our 17 week old puppy at Camp Happy Tails for a week. The facility was great and the owner was as well! Milo came home happy, well cared for, and clean. We will use Camp Happy Tails in the future!

Our little Josie has only been going since June of this year. Has been several times and play days. Josie loves it. She always looks well taken care of and loved. Leslie is so good to our fur babies and takes really good care of them. Josie knows for sure when we are getting close she gets so excited. We are so thankful we found CAMP HAPPY TAILS AND LESLIE. The place is so cute. Thank you.

We left our dog overnight last year. When we picked him up the next evening he was filthy and smelled horrible. He must have slept on the ground. His paws were infected and he had diarrhea. It took us a couple weeks to get him well. We will NEVER leave him there again. I would not recommend this place to anyone. In fact I'd warn you against it.

Left our pup there and it was great. We use a Fi (a dog version of a Fitbit) and we could tell our dog got way more excercise than at other places.

Marshmellow has stayed twice and I am very pleased...The first time she was also groomed and she was exactly as I requested....very reasonable price and it's nice to not have to worry that shes being taken care of....highly recommend
