I got amazing help from Gary in the garden department. Without him I couldn't have accomplished my purchase. Talk about customer service! Gary took on each customer who asked questions. There were many he helped, but he did it in the order of the promise he made. Felt like I really was important to Home Depot. He deserves great praise from management. He's your best example of EXCELLENT customer service.

Went to this store to exchange a Husky tool for the third time. Still not in stock. At customer service, they were not at all helpfull and honestly borderline rude. I explained I live an hour away and could the tool be ordered for replacement. A short "NO" without explanation other than we don't do that. It's one thing to claim a "can do" customer service. It's another for the employee attitudes when a customer asks questions. I couldn't recommend any kind of good customer service at this store. SAD

We bought paint yesterday as a mobile pickup order. When we got home it was the consistency of milk. It was returned and we exchanged it for another. When we got home, we had the same issue. It's the same brand of paint I have bought about 5 gallons of recently. Whomever is mixing their paint needs to be retrained. We won't be buying paint from you guys again

I order a part of the internet we're it gave me options of different businesses. I choose Home Depot Hull Street closes to me. Well it didn't offer home delivery only pickup at store( Hour half away ). Well I could not get an exact day of delivery. After 6 days I called was told it would 3 more days. Well next day e-mail said Item was at store. Drove that hour half distance one-way. Nothing on e-mail to tell were to go. Went in-side were it says ( PICKUP) Well I was wrong had walk whole store as a Disabled Veteran bone against bone, 27 surgeries! And only person who talked or polite was a lady working self check out are ( today in early afternoon) keep her and get her to teach all the others!Well I went to customer Service Counter and I'm sorry I was nothing the little oopa loop playing on her phone. Looked up my name asked if I got e-mail with Qr code I said yes just like I showed you and Told you when I walked up asking about my part. Well after tap tap tap ( My name) tap tap it's out-side! She jump down off her perch. Headed towards the door and went out-side. Well she came back in and yelled it's outside. Well I took that as I better go outside because she not bringing it in. I'm so confused by now. We'll there she is standing in front of a large Orange Enclosure with different size doors like a gym locker. But none had latches, handles, numbers etc... well she talked to me like a 10 year old to put that QR Code to the Rectangle in the middle of this large enclosure. It was a faded Screen table (Computer) so hard to see, what I had to do next finally, she sternly instructed me to complete this game to get my paid for Item. Then a large door srung open if I wasn't 6'3" I would not have seen it! I will order my parts from Amazon or somewhere else.

I really like this store, but unfortunately Nick ruined my experience this time around.After renting me a tool that doesn't work, telling me I don't know how to run a tiller (I've rented a tiller from this store many times successfully), and making me wait 30 mins to talk to a manager, he refused to refund the product and give me a working one because "I kept it for too long."I rented it for 1 day because I knew my own time constraints, and telling me that this is somehow my fault is really a mistake.

I searched all over the richmond area for this skeleton and they were so nice on customer service before I got there when I called and when I got there they pulled it down. So far it was the best experience I've had all day in the richmond area calling for this guy. They were so pleasant.

Went to buy a Weed Wacker and since they're locked in a cage, I went to the front desk to ask for help, I went back to the aisle, waited for 10 minutes and no one showed up. I went again to the front desk and asked for help again and went back and waited for another 20 minutes and still no one came over to help 😡, so I walked out and not willing to go back again.

Thomas O. in the Millworks section where i bought my door was super helpful!i had to get it custom made and he went over everything with me and was warm, patient and super knowledgeable on so many things!Overall, he was so nice and he helped me through it all, even with some other little home projects i had to do, so i would def buy another door there from him and i would trust his advice about other home projects.And tbh, i prefer this location so much better! Jessica in lawn & garden was very helpful on phone. Kinda went above & beyond for a walk behind Champion leaf blower. The customer service desk at the store was a different deal when I arrived. Took forever to be waited on & 1st clerk said he would be right with me...disappeared out of the door to never be seen again. Finally some young fellow rolled the blower out on a cart & walked away. I was left having to load a 100 + pound machine by myself in back of truck. Another disgruntled customer came out of store & helped me. Maybe Lowes ain't so bad after all.

Called every store department to check for tool rental availability. Was on hold for 15 minutes for each department, and still never picked up. Unacceptable.Went to the store, they had the rental I needed, but the in store price per 4 hours was 25% more than the online price and they refused to honor the online price. Never doing business with Home Depot again, I suggest you go to Lowe's or R.C. Goodwyn and Sons, Inc instead.

I love Home Depot. I love Lowes too but this is about Home Depot so Lowes...time to take a back seat.Soooooooo...I went to Home Depot and got the best deal ever on a sump pump for my home. The sump pump came with a list of plumbing companies that did free quotes on the installation. After being contacted by a few scamming plumbing companies, I had the perfect company contact me.Now...as for Home Depot, the clerk at the front desk provided excellent customer service. I've only visited this location a handful of times but I can say they're always helpful. Lowes, take notes 🤣 Okay okay, you guys enjoy and let em know that good ol AL sent you 😁

I go here because I have to without fighting serious traffic. The help is anything but that. The lumber is plentiful, but prepare to dig a lot to find anything straight and undamaged. I was looking for simple 8' 4x4s and after digging through two stacks, I could not find a single piece without serious damage (i.e. chunks missing). Think the employees will help you? Hahaha- good one! Have a question about plumbing, electrical or flooring? Budget an extra 45 minutes or walking around to track someone down. They are far to interested in talking to each other and avoiding work and/or customers at all costs! Then when you want to check out, you get to go through the self check-out, which is really fun when you have loose hardware or lumber; again, the person supposedly working those check-outs will either just watch you, will not be around at all or will be too busy talking to other employees to offer help.Updates 2/18/22 & 3/15/24- no real changes except the only option is self checkout.

Worst customer service experience. They will look at you and continue with their conversation with their coworker. When they're done with their conversation that's when they decide to say hello and help. You would think they would be having a conversation about work it wasn't. I heard the entire thing so I knew it was a personal conversation. The way they did everything made me feel like I was disturbing them. I work in customer service and I will never treat a customer like they did. And the rolling of the eyes felt like i was dealing with a teenager. Do better Home Depot.

They had a very nice selection of annuals/perennials. I was also able to find plenty of larger or smaller pots, including plastic and clay. There was an extremely long line with only one cashier, and she had an attitude. I spent about $300 on flowers, pots, and soil (2 metal carts worth) and one flower did not have a tag on it. She told me I had to finish my transaction and then find one with a tag and then ring it as a separate transaction. I just left without the flower because there was no way I was leaving my 2 carts of already bought plants or struggling to maneuver them through the aisles. I understand being busy, but she was super rude, and with the long line, they definitely should have had an additional employee ringing people up.

Almost as good as the other guys. Wish it were closer. We got a great buy on a new Whirlpool refrigerator, yet it took 2 1/2 months for the icemaker to be installed. Caveat emptor.

Went to this store Monday 11:00am wanted to look at manufactured decking, told we couldn't look at it aisle blocked because of downstocking. We need a zero turn mower so went to talk to a associate but couldn't find anyone. We need ceiling fans so went to browse fans, again no one there to help us. Headed back to decking just as the aisle now open. Once there here comes the driver again telling us to leave as he now has to drop something else. My wife said we also need appliances do you want to go look? I asked are you kidding? I had had enough for a Monday morning. We need decking, appliances, ceiling fans and a zero turn mower. Home Depot you flat out missed on this one.

I have a pretty big paint job going on at the house and was a little overwhelmed with so many colors and options. My wife and I were at the paint area just looking around, when Steve in the paint department came over with a lot of knowledge and ideas. He showed my wife and I how to use the paint visualizer to get a better idea how a color may look in a room. He also gave us a clear and precise rundown of the finishes and brands best for our project. We chatted some and was thankful for his assistance. We came back the next day (Sunday) to get the paint mixed and purchased what we needed to get the project started.Today (Wednesday) our painters let us know that they needed more paint to finish the desired rooms today. My wife was in a meeting and I had been logged off for lunch for a little while. Time was a little issue so I called the paint department to see if I could expedite the paint mixing process. I spoke with Savannah and let her know what I needed. She took the paint codes over the phone and partnered with Steve and got it knocked out by the time I got there. I had to run back to my car and by my return, Steve and Savannah had loaded my cart with the 5 gallon bucket and the 3 other gallons I needed. I want to say they both did a great job in displaying urgency, excellent customer service and a willingness to help. Please share this review with them as I'm very pleased at the service they gave me.

They were rude and after waiting for help for nearly 20 minutes I managed to ask a rude cashier for help Dreama who didn't even bother to check it was a flat out don't have it. Let me just say I was working when I came in there, it should have been more professional if you dare to apply where I work lady may I suggest you don't. You need to learn manners and how to help customers so you just lost business and got a very bad review to boot. Kudos to you!
