The Pet Supplies Plus at Belgrade is awesome. They always seem to have what we want and the staff is very helpful. Also the online ordering and pickup are so easy. Definitely recommend! Also, Will in grooming is so professional and skilled with our dog’s appointments we reschedule with him whenever we can.

We bought the sweetest hamster this past weekend in this store!!!! 😍😊☀️When I called with some questions they recommended associate Terrell (sorry if I do not have the name correct.) When we got there, Terrel helped us pick out the perfect hamster for/with our daughter. He actually spends time each day socializing the hamsters at the store, so he can put his hand in the tanks and hamsters love him! This is amazing having socialized hamster to take home. We were able to cuddle, hold, and play with the hamster once we got home!!!.... Unlike PetCo......just saying very bad experience with PetCo small animals...hamster was hissing and bit my daughter after the recommendation from PetCo to leave the animal in her cage for a week so she could get used to her new home and is...hamster stayed very spastic and almost bit me. One plus for PetCo...no questions asked about the return....associate just put the hamster back in the store aquarium for the next family to buy. I’m sorry little hamster it’s not your fault you were not brought up properly for a successful life.Thank you Terrell and Midlothian Pet Supplies for our new family member!.

I had been going here for years for all my pets since moving to the Chesterfield area and had been coming for a few months for grooming and was thoroughly pleased with service and staff. However, I received a call in which my appointment was just cancelled a week before the grooming service due to the groomer leaving (not an issue honestly). The issue arose as I typically make the apt 6-8 weeks prior because of my work schedule and this place books very FAST. So when they cancelled, I attempted to call back and get on the books sooner rather than later and I got no call back whatsoever. I now can’t get an appointment for over a month, which is way too late for me to go without grooming my dog. Therefore, I made an appointment over a month ago, just to get my appointment cancelled with no customer service assistance. Highly unfortunate and has caused me to look elsewhere for service. Just a warning for those looking for reliable service.

Fantastic selection of brands that are less common, including Stella and chewy which has been super hard to find. They also have competitive pricing (especially when running sales)The thing that stood out to me though, is there is a brand called Nulo. Nulo has these awesome limited ingredient gravy toppers. They also have non-limited ingredient toppers. Pet supplies plus Midlothian only carries the limited ingredient ones (along with a great selection of other clean brands). It was in that moment that i realized that this is a pet store who's buyer really cares about animals and offering the best quality and cleanest food selection. It was refreshing being able to pick from such a variety.I am so grateful this store exists.

This shop is a hidden gem! In addition to curbside pickup, they have free delivery. I set up an auto ship order for cat food, and it’s delivered to my doorstep every month in a sturdy bag with a handwritten thank you note. And if they’re out of something in your order, they call you, instead of simply canceling that item. HIGHLY recommend!

I was desperately searching all over the Richmond/ Chesterfield area for live feeder mice/rats. After going to 3 different stores I called this place before traveling there as it was a distance away. I spoke with an employee that told him I needed a live feeder mice/rat. He told me they had live feeder rats small&medium size. Yay! Finally! After driving 40 minutes out I finally arrive and the employee tells me, “ oh, uuuummm, we don’t have live feeder rats/mice”. I was BEYOND irritated!!! I had driven all that way just to waste time, money, and gas. Very unprofessional.

A great neighborhood store with a friendly and helpful staff. Good selection of products. We particularly like the dog exchange program: bring in 2 dirty dogs and get 2 show-ready dogs back! Lauren has been grooming our Corgi and Golden for some time now and we marvel at how good they look every time. And they seem to enjoy the experience. Thank you.

Locked out of account after several attempts and useless links sent to my phone to unlock . Website needs help. Signing up for account is useless if inaccessible to redeem rewards!

Love this store. The staff are customer oriented and will always offer to assist in getting heavy items out to the car. Some prices can be higher but they price match. George was so helpful in securing some expensive cat food that was not on the shelf for me. When it came in the next day, he called me and when I walked in the store, he smiled, remembered me and went right away to get what I needed. You don't get that in the big box stores.

Pet Supplies Plus is great. There is a huge variety of brands and products. I get a lot of specialty foods here for my older dog who has a variety of food allergies and has gotten really picky as he's aged. They also have live pets - fish, lizards, birds, hamsters, etc. I recommend this store if you have cats or dogs based on the variety of items, friendly service and better environment than some of the big box store chains.

3 strikes now. This time I called to ask if they had a certain type of hamster in stock and the employee states they have a dozen in stock including the one I'm looking for. I arrive directly after a 40min drive and told by the same employee "oh it looks like they're all gone. They probably sold yesterday. Sorry haha!!" That's the 3rd time on the 3rd visit after a phone call that I've wasted my time here. The first time I also incurred a double charge on my bank card for an item that was also incorrectly marked and then had to wait 2 days for a refund. 👍👍

Jennifer was great and her customer service was unmatched! Recently I was in a car accident & unbeknownst to her, my knee is not in great shape unfortunately. I bought a 30lb bag of dog food and she insisted on carrying it out to my car for me regardless of knowing about my injury(: I’ll definitely be back! Thanks Jennifer!

Grooming Salon is wonderful. Lauren always takes great care of our dog and we're able to pick up within a few hours of drop off which is nice. We love having a neighborhood store where the staff knows us and our pet. They're always so friendly!

One of the main reasons I gave Pet Supplies Plus a 5 rating is because on the weekends they always have dogs to trying to adopt out people up there are always trying to help dogs anyway they can I think that's very good nowadays I don't see how anybody could mistreat an animal but if you hey have any coupons that come in the mail for like 20% off or 15% off for so many dollars off and you don't use them all you have to do is go up there and give them to the people that are trying to find homes for abandoned animals those people can really use those coupons stead of throwing them away a lot of people don't think about that but since my animal passed away 2 years ago I get a lot of money off and stuff like that coupons and I take him to the people up there on Saturdays and Sundays so they can use them they're very appreciative but that's just my opinion

It's bad enough that the price I was charged was 15% higher than the price listed on their shelf, but then when I went back the manager on duty was absolutely rude about it. She had a snarky attitude and made excuses about how she had the proper signage but hadn't had a chance to put it up yet. (Maybe only one employee at a time should be playing with the kittens.) Then it turned out the price on the same cat food at PetSmart was 41% less per can than what Pet Supplies Plus was charging. That's just absurd. I won't go back.

Not a good experience. An item was priced wrong and cashier would not fix the error. Cashier not very knowledgeable about the products in the store. I picked up a bottle of dog shampoo and asked him if he would recommend this product to help with hot spots and he shrugged his shoulders and said "I guess so".

I'd bump this up to a 5-star review, however I arrived at your location a day after your "Dollar Per Gallon" sale. The day I had visited, I was looking to purchase a relatively large fish tank. Signage for the sale was still attached to tanks in the aisle, however when I went down the aisle with the manager- talking about tanks -she said "Yeah, we just finished our sale on these" and proceeded to rip down the "Dollar Per Gallon" sale sign and ran away with it to a trash can to dispose of it. Unfortunately I feel as though this was unprofessional as I might have been the only guest to look at aquariums all day(which apparently I was.) If someone had brought a tank up to the register to buy it, your staff would have had to honor the signage in accordance with law. I still gave your store a relatively good rating because I enjoyed seeing all of the different aquatic animals available, however I needed a large tank. Thanks for replying to this review, but no thanks for the sadness.

I visited recently and was helped by one of their cheerful associates. I was at a lose for trying to find something for my dog's hurt (while waiting for her vet appt) when I was quickly offered suggestions. I appreciated the advice and will remember you again!
