Website showed the pet supplies I needed were in stock(Zymox Otic Ear cleaner). When I got there, they were no where in site or overhead. Shevles were nearly bare. And to top it off a mouse ran right across my path in the aisle. Notified the cashier. He just said "Ok". That was my first and last time in that establishment.

Although I absolutely love this place there is a absolutely bad stocking issues, molded dog food from opening pallets with straight razors, WELL now it was sentinel horse feed molded!! Dated August of 2021 claim with corporate vet check shots wtc

My first time here was today. Great selection for yard, garden, and pet needs. Staff was friendly and helpful. The line moved quickly, found lots of things that are not always available in the big box stores. I will be back.

Really like this store!!!😃👍😃👍 It's not far from home and I enjoy just browsing the aisles. I grew up on a farm so I can relate to lots of the products they sell here. And prices are reasonable. The folks that work there seem to know what they are talking about and are willing to help in whatever way they can.👍👍👍

Product availability is good. Once in a blue moon, it is hard to find specific bird seed. But all else is there in the store. They have a lot of repeat customers and are known by store personnel. Quite evident while in the checkout line. You can start up a conversation quickly and meet some fine people. The best part is the great customer service.

Forrest was the employee that impressed me most with his knowledge for the items I came in to purchase. My doberman Bailey also really liked him and we are here for our second visit specifically to see Forrest again. She was happy to see him and would eat treats for him but not for me. I give him more than five stars! Thanks again, Forrest, for your time and patience with us! We will be back!!!

I walked in with a broken lawn mower belt an the lady at the register said to me you need a lawn mower belt. An she pointed the belts out to me. The moral of this story is I didn't even get a chance to ask she already knew what I needed. Now that's great service.

I was hunting for a couple items at closing time in this store (I'd never been in a Tractor Supply) and the staff was extremely helpful and patient even though I'm sure they were eager to close up and get home. The young male cashier insisted on carrying out my chicken feed and told me some other great features and upcoming events at the store. I was stunned at how much they carry. Great guy, great store!

It is ok. Staff are generally friendly, store is clean. Parking is plentiful. Wish they carried more products bearing name brands / made in USA vs the cheap Chinese knock-offs that fill their shelves. It is like a farmer's harbor freight.

The tractor supply I usually shop at was out of the beet pulp I use for my horses so I came up here for it as soon as i walked in the whole store looked like it's a state of chaos they only had one bag of my beet pulp pellets bag was torn asked an employee if they had any more of it in the back the employee was rude and acted as if I interrupted her. Then to cashier who obviously doesn't care about store policy on damage merchandise and the discount for it as she told me the total without the discount when I brought it up to her she huffed and rolled her eyes. This is the worst tractor supply I've been in they need some customer service taught to them if they even care to learn it

Easy to find what I need. Always clean. Fair amount of stocked shelves. Friendly checkout. It's that time of the year...baby chicks and ducklings in the store! Love that.

I walked in and WASN’T greeted.RUDE !! Employee who was plumped with ginger hair looked at me rudely. I paid for my stuff and he kind of held on to the bag as I was leaving... soo weird I wasn’t sure why he held on . WILL NEVER BE BACK!!Update : Just found my receipt the rude worker who served me name was Daniel. Please train him how to have respect and act like he wants to be a positive role model for the company.

Pretty nice place, the staff is very helpful and friendly. They have a large selection of items for a variety of needs. Tool, tool storage, live stock, yard fowl, ect. Prices are a little high on some items but it's worth it for the service and selection.

i arrived to pick up my order and there was no curbside pickup. i went in the store to get my order (a large gun safe) and i did not receive help loading the safe. he literally helped me put it on the cart and walked away. did not ask if i needed assistance.

I don't give negative reviews but today is a first. I'm an 135 lb, 5'4 female and I have my hands full of merchandise and a 55 lb bag of dog food on my shoulder. Your female cashier didn't ask if I needed help with anything and your male sales associate stood 10 damn ft away and stared. If my dog didn't like YOUR brand of food so much, I would've left the bag of dog food on the floor where I nearly dropped it on someone in front of me. Seriously considering going elsewhere.

Was so happy to see all employees were following CDC guidelines for Covid. Also, everyone was kind and helpful but Chip and Mary Elizabeth went above and beyond. We look forward to our next trip to Tractor Supply.

Oh my goodness! If you have never been in this store because I hadn't. They have everything from 6' tall rooster to infant size John Deere socks...so cute!!! They have animal feed, dog houses (to get the one I wanted, I need the help of someone with a truck), but I did get a kidney shaped dog pool. They have beautiful and unique outside decor, like those huge wagon wheels and metal stars, kayaks, bee keepers suits. Heck, they even had an inflatable dog cone collar. They also have a huge collection of boots and clothing. This store referred me to the one in Ashland to see the bigger size doghouse. Helpful staff. Did I say, 'I loved this store!'

Had to wait in line to get in because they said couldn't be more than 50 people inside. APPARENTLY, they do not know how to count, there was less than 20 people and once you get in you are NOT allowed to go out to look at the items outside or else you will be forced to wait in line to get back inside! I will forever go out of my way to go to southern states instead of this joke of a hole.

Staff was wonderful and more than willing to help me pick out a crate for our new puppy Tulip, and then hold her while I took the crate to the car. Price of the small 2 door crate was excellent.

Went looking for an item that the store website said was in stock @ Mechanicsville store, not in the obvious aisle, Ashley & another employee said it shows it on a end aisle but doesn't show where, both employees in myselflooked the store over at each end aisle and Ashley located the product and it had a lower price then the website showed of courses I got it at the lower price thanks to Ashley and another for their customer service.

Always pleased with the staff and the selection here. I never thought of Tractor Supply for tools and welding equipment but after going in for bushhog blades and seeing not only the equipment but very competitive pricing I made this my go to for future purchases.

Watch for the monthly Vet that goes there and gives vaccinations and also puts in Microchips. Very good deal. I had my Dog chipped for about half the price. And fast too.

So, I go to buy a utility trailer that was on sale and after finding one that wasn't dented, a broken tail light or rusting, I purchased it. The tail light still needed to be hooked up and they would call me when it was done. Three days later and no call so I went by to pick it up. I was informed it had been sold to someone else!! They rest of the trailers they had were damaged and basically I was out of luck. I got my money back. I did contact the customer service center to see if I could still get another one even though the sale had now ended, and to find out how something like this could happen. I was informed that the District manager would be in contact with me .....3 weeks and no contact from the District manager or the store. Kinda sucks!I like Tractor Supply and have been treated very well in most that I have been too, but I have to blame management for the poor customer service and operational flaws at store 169 in Mechanicsville, VA. I won't be back.

Waited at the customer service desk for almost 30 minutes before someone finally came to help me then the person had no idea about the return policy so he went and got someone else.after all of that I explained to him my problem and he also had no idea so he tried to Google it and just gave up and told me some lie that I had to send my tool box to the manufacture.so I had to show him the dee zee page wich said to report and file all return warranty claims to the store in wich you bought it. So he says uuuhhhhh I dont know how to do it the manager will be here tomorrow. Lol i swear they as re the most worthless employees ever
