Diane was great and took no time helping me with my project that needed a very precise pipe size. I was impressed with how quick she was and her knowledge of plumbing. I am typically a Lowe’s guy but when I am on this side of town I am gonna check out Home Depot . It was really easy to access from the highway and there was plenty of parking. Register was friendly and asked if they could help or had questions. No complaint and if anything i am impressed.

I stopped by this location a few days ago and the seed section was infested with mice. I was checking out the seeds and kept smelling urine, which I thought was rising from the drain in the floor....But as I was reaching to pull a seed tray off the shelf a nest fell out all over me and baby mice scattered around the shelf. I informed the manager, she informed me that they were aware of the problem and taking steps to deal with it. I just feel those steps were inadequate, as they left contaminated items on the shelf, which caused me significant respiratory distress (highly sensitive to mice).I ended up informing corporate, because this location could very well get someone seriously ill!! I still have a cough days later!

This is my favorite home Depot in the Richmond area. They have really good quality plants compared to some of the other locations. Staff are very friendly and have even helped me track down items they don't have in store to be shipped to my house. Anytime we've gone and needed help with something, they've gone above and beyond. Their prices are very reasonable too.

Eddie and Ethan and the Home Depot staff went above and beyond for me during my recent trip to this store. I came in looking for a specific item and when the shelves were empty I assumed the item was out of stock. Instead of telling me “what you see is what we have”, without hesitation Eddie took it upon himself to check nearly every aisle in the store to look for an extra pallet of the item I needed. Ethan was online checking other nearby stores while Eddie searched the shelves. Through the combined efforts of Eddie, Ethan, and another young man whose name I did not get (you know who you are!), I was able to leave with exactly what I needed! I spoke with a handful of employees in this Home Depot and everyone was so genuinely personable and polite, which you just don’t see too much anymore. Thanks for making my day you guys!! You rock!

I love Home Depot. I frequently go to this Home Depot and everyone on staff are always helpful, knowledgeable and courteous. Today, I want to especially shout the gentlemen that loaded my car as the snow was falling and Ms. Cecelia (at the customer service desk) who said, "come inside" while I waited for one of my items to be brought up front so that I would not out in the cold (watching other item) Thank you!! Please know that your customer service is much appreciated!!

Purchased and planted 5 emerald arborvitae trees that wilted and were dying in 3 weeks. Went back to the store and noticed the remaining trees on the pallet looked to be in the same dying condition. Asked for a manager, who could not look more put out and did not want to listen to me before he explained the policy. Manager said the trees were left wrapped up too long before their people put them out, which caused the trees to die. Asked the manager why they would sell them in the first place and then still try to sell the remaining ones on the pallet. He responded by saying, “you didn’t have to buy them.” No apology, just was told he would need to have them brought back for a refund. He was decent enough to wave the truck rental fee so I could dig them up and bring them back, only reason for 2 stars instead of 1.

Typical Home Depot.. lots of stuff had to find, a ambivalent staff mostly chatting with each other, hard to get help and not too knowledgeable (although there are some exceptions). I prefer Lowes just down the road.

I wanted to buy a drill. There were many orange vest standing around chatting with each other, and others just walking around doing nothing too. If a customer walked by them, they would look the other way. I was there over one hour and not the first employee acknowledge my presence......

We go to a lot of Home Depots around the area and I have to say this one is the best. Staff went above and beyond to help me. Everyone there asked me if I needed help.

Sign says closes at 8pm on Sunday. Doors locked at 7:30, I need a hot water sink valve. Now we have no hot water for the night or until we can get parts whenever the store feels like being open

Employee of the CENTURY!!! I came in to the store with an item for my dad's birthday as a pic on phone and absolutely NO IDEA where the store kept them. Shaunice greeted me with a smile and actually took me over to the item which was sold out BUT I will still order item and have it delivered through Home Depot! When she left me she went straight back to work, staying busy and positive dragging a pallet jack I'll assume... Get it girl!

We’ve been basically living at this Home Depot since we moved to the area. We renovated our house and do other things outside etc and they are always helpful and nice. Most recently, we needed a shed from the garden section and it was super high up. Micah and Lauren from flooring were actually the ones who came and helped us. Micah is an incredible forklift driver and gets stuff done. Lauren was helpful and immediately stepped up to help even when it wasn’t her department. Thanks!

The order online and drive up option is a great addition to their services! I bought a grill with free assembling and they brought it up to my car and loaded it for me. It was ready in less than two hours!

The older white woman who works in the paint department is appallingly rude. The last two times I went in she acted like every single customer was a personal inconvenience to her. Switched to the Lowe’s after the last experience when she sighed and rolled her eyes when I had the audacity to come up to the counter while she was doing nothing.It’s too bad bc all the other staff I’ve interacted with there were SO wonderful and helpful.

Usually have a good experience here. However this time I did drive up and it was awful. Waited 20 minutes, called the customer service person and was told they couldn't leave the desk unattended. Had to end up going into the store. Deduct 2* for a horrible drive up experience.

I have only been to this location once, to buy one Halloween decoration, so my review is clearly not inclusive of the entire experience others will have at this location.But, in comparison to my local HD, these guys have customer service figured out. The Williamsburg location had already been setting up Halloween for 2 entire days when I went in. They had part of their display area gated off with items they weren't ready to sell and they were still actively working in that area. But, after two days, they finally had the 8ft jack-o-lantern stack out and it was in a public area, set up for purchase, and they refused to sell it to me. They said it wouldn't even scan if I tried and that they couldn't sell it at all. I figured this was wrong, as my local HD is full of inexperienced people who have no business working at a home improvement store, and that was verified when I called other HDs looking for this decoration. More than one store told me Williamsburg was lying and they just didn't want to sell it.This store told me they not only had the pumpkins in stock, but that they would gladly take my money for them. I drove 50 minutes from my house and was a little worried when I got out there because they were still actively setting up, so I was hesitant to get in their way. More than one employee was super friendly and helpful. They were totally fine with my presence, got me a cart for my purchase so I didn't have to walk all the way to checkout with this giant box I was so happy to finally have, and also helped me track down some prices of other items in the Halloween area that didn't have a sticker on them.I may not shop here every day but I definitely will remember these guys next August when it's time to buy more Halloween decorations.I might even come out here in a couple months and see what they have for Christmas.With so many other locations across the country, and their competitors already having decorations out, it seemed like all of the other HDs around here either weren't setting up in a timely fashion or didn't want to sell the items they did have set up.Thanks guys! I appreciate you and your customer service

I was greeted when I entered the store. I could not find the product I was looking for I asked for assistance. This young lady Jenn advised me she did not work in that department, but she would try to help me. Jenn assisted me very well in finding the product I needed along with making sure there was no other products that may be better for me at the time. This is the type of customer service for every customer needs.

The rental manger has zero interest in assisting with the sale of used equipment. I showed up with cash today to purchase anAerator and she could care less. I waited 30 minutes just to get information on the units, she was worthless and wasn’t helpful. Don’t waste your time.

Seven months ago I ordered 10 rolls of fencing online to be delivered on a flat bed. Minutes before the delivery arrived I received a call from Customer service saying only 6 rolls will be delivered and I must come to the store to get a refund....after visiting the store and calling customer service 4 times they finally sent a partial refund. I has to call several more times to get the remaining refund. (Home Depot Payment system doesn't work well with PayPal)To avoid another horrible online order experience I went in-person to buy the remaining 4 rolls of fencing. The only rolls in-stock were on the top shelf in the gardening department. I asked 3 different employees for help, waited around for 35 minutes watching mice dig in bags of grass seed and eventually left empty handed.Later that evening I ordered the 4 rolls of fence online and waited two days before the order was ready for pickup. Two days later (Today) I arrive at 10am to pickup the fencing that i've been told is ready for curbside pickup. After checking in I waited 10 minutes before calling the front desk. They tell me the order will be right out. 30 minutes later I walk to the garden center and find them getting the fencing ready for pickup. Impressively inefficient. I will never return.Kudos to the 2 out 10+ employees that were helpful and pleasant.
