Placed an order for curbside pick up. Complete waste of time. No one was there to bring out the order. I called customer service and the employee was dismissive and rude. Told me I had to come in and pick it up, which it was heavy concrete. Curbside pick up is a joke and so are the customer service skills.

Don’t shop at this Lowe’s. First, the installed the wrong carpet and would only give me a $250 credit back. I went back another time looking for a shed. The person at the returns desk was helpful to me to find someone to help me look for a shed. The guy said he was out there and I went out there and nobody was there. I waited for 5 minutes in the cold and nobody showed up to help me. Taking my business to Home Depot.

I had great service today. Three employees approached me to see if I needed help. I'm the kind of shopper that avoids asking for assistance unless it's absolutely necessary and I could have figured it out eventually, but the advice I was given was helpful and much appreciated.

Went in to get a klein tool I just bought that was defective. They were rude and wouldn't honor the warranty, said only did it for cobalt and craftsman. And I had to mail it into klein themselves to get replacement. Went to another lowes they made it right without a problem.

Unimpressed with customer service at this location, specifically the front desk mgmt.Lowe’s website says returns are allowed without a receipt for store credit, so I headed in to return a vacuum that I got as a gift. This store location would not honor that policy, very frustrating.Earlier this summer had another issue with a brand new refrigerator online purchase, the unit ended being faulty and was covered under warranty to be returned. This store would not assist with picking up the fridge for the return. Called another local store, they took care of it immediately.

2OCT21Went in this afternoon and got a nice 🎄Christmas wreath,🎄 some spray paint and a SCHLAGE front door lockset. The store was pretty busy but I got checked out with no problem or long wait. On the way out I bought a tin of CINNAMON CRUNCH POPCORN from some very polite Cub Scouts.😃👍😋

If u go to this lowes do not ask any employee named Lee on his ID badge I'm sure it's not his first name came to this store had wood cut took it home come back ask the employee Lee older man and he blew so hard and said are u kidding me I guess he doesn't belong at lowes because no employee there has ever treated me this way had a very bad attitude I reported him to district n told him I was he told me he didn't care who I called on him or reported him to I guess lowes is the best place to shop until u have one bad seed I don't know if he hates his job or people but there wasn't even one person on the wood side of the store u want customer service don't go there n then when the Manger Don came after I asked for the manager because I didn't want Lee and his Un perfessional attitude to help me Don still had Lee cut the wood and he cut it so fast there is rugged edges were Lee cut it bad on purpose Don the manager was very professional n helped me but I still believe if the employee Lee still works there after this bad encounter lot of customers will experience the same visit I have lowes is better than this guy he is not fit for lowes especially mechanisville location hope that higher power deals with employees that don't like there job avoid Lee if u want a good experience thanks not trying to make a big deal if cutting a lil piece of wood is to much for lowes then maybe he needs a another job my wood looks so bad because he cut it fast with his attitude Un real

Very poor delivery service! Unprofessional and rude! To added the supervisors and staff ensure that someone would come back to fix the improper installation of my fridge handles and removal of wrapping from all my appliances. NEVER HAPPEN! The worst Delivery service ever! Im so upset to have spend thousands in appliances with a company to just have a horrible careless delivery service bring it to my home!

Lowes now has a policy of no returns after 90 days. If your working on a project and you have left over material, don't wait..awful policy for the homeowner or handyman. Find other places to shop.

I bought a Whirlpool dishwasher for $600 cost another $600 for installation. The company contracted to install can't schedule the time, I waited all day lost a full day of work. Took 3 guys to install watching YouTube. They didn't do the job right. I called the contractor to come back they said they can only do it if they have a work order from Lowe's. I called Lowe's to put in the work order. Never got a call back from the contractor l. I called them next day to be told it would be 2 more weeks before they co.e fix the job they botched.I'm at Lowe's now and they still can't get the contractor to my house. Another customer is here with the same problem from the contractor. The Lowe's manager says he has problems with this company every day. This has been the worst interaction to fix a problem. Do not buy anything that requires installation from Lowe's.

Most of the staff here is lazy and unknowledgeable, especially the "Pro" Staff.Several times I have stood in line for a very long time with other contractors trying to file through a single open register while the rest of the pro staff stands around and talks.They do not have a unified POS system apparently which is just great when you're supposed to get points and rewards for MVP purchases... LOWES: Pick a system, or merge them. Or train your staff on the differences. Customers shouldn't have to argue with or explain your own systems to your employees at checkout.Furthermore, every time I receive installation of a product through Lowe's, the personnel sent are inexperienced and not actually Lowe's employees. It's a toss up if they will do a good job, and when they do royally F it up, Lowe's has little to no regard for the matter. A small discount is usually your best compensation, and it's probably only for future orders.Overall I do not recommend this store or company, but when you need material and your options are slim, this is what you get stuck with.

Worst customer service. Friday I ordered online to pick up next day with my contractor. Get there and the manager checked me in (never asking for my drivers license). He told me I would have to pick it up at the other end of the store. Fine... I go to the other end to get my order and no one can find it. A bunch of managers looking but not finding. After I have been there 45 mins they finally decide to pull the order again!! OMG! So Sunday I need more things for my bathroom renovation, crazy me thought it would be a good idea to order online again and pick my order up. I park where I would be loading this time. Grabbed my phone and keys and headed for the service desk at the other end of the store. Told the lady I was picking up an order that would be at the other side of the store, she proceeds to take the code on my phone and then ASK MY FOR MY DRIVERS LICENSE, I said it was at the other end of the store in my truck. She said sorry she won't release my order without my license. ABSOLUTELY THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER. Went and got my truck came back and canceled my order.

Friendly helpful staff. Usually has what I need in stock. Lowe's is the spot for your home improvement needs.Needed more wood for a box project. Lowe's has a nice selection of finished wood. I picked up a couple pieces today for the base & trim.Flood light project for sister-in-law.Outdoor LED security motion sensor flood lights that are super bright and responsive. Goodearth lighting makes nice energy efficient lighting products. Hung 2 LED motion sensor floods at my wife's sister-in-laws office today. Lowe's has goodearth lighting products. I recommend them. I haveave them on my house and garage.

Lots of employees I did catch on man who was held in trying to help me while the flooring person was at lunch. Older gentleman in the department in front. Thanks sir. Mike was at lunch he saw me later and went up to check over stock. The online did not reflect what was in the store . Out of 19 online your store had one. I also saw a-lot of people working but not being customer friendly. Walk and look the other way. Thanks Again Mike

Great place to shop, lots in stock, I like the people who work here, they are always helpful. The paint department is excellent, super knowledgeable lady working there. The lumber department is great too, this is the store where I can find the wood I need at a price I can afford.

Great service! Went in to look at washer/dryers and the gentleman told me he would be right with me after finishing up with another customer. He immediately helped me pick out a washer/dryer and explained everything I needed and was great! Very knowledgeable! Great customer service!! Very very pleased.

I went to two Lowe's about 35 miles apart to get what I needed. The Lowe's in my town didn't have a drop of deck resurfacer in the place nor anyone to answer my questions. The store in Mechanicsville, Va. on the other hand had what I needed and an associate that actually knew what she was doing, was friendly and efficient. There was no one in the paint department when I got there, there were four of us in a matter of minutes. She handled us and herself terrifically. That lady was BRENDA! Hey boss! Give this lady a raise!

Where do i start? i got a ge refrigerator with bottom freezer abt sep 1, 2023 bc it was there so didnt have to order it. it arrived promptly. while removing my 33" samsung fridge the delivery people damaged my front door frame. They kept trying to get it out and it wasnt going. When i heard the first loud crack i said what was that to which the man who could speak engish said "nothing' to which i said "didnt sound like nothing." He continued to push and there was a second crack and i told them to stop so they did but the english speaking man said "just let me do my job." I have a one piece molded door with glass transom at top and side lights. $3000.00 and its only a year or two old. They took the fridge doors off then removed my door and it was out then they brought the new one n that was n the yard. after it was n place they just left, didnt say they were leaving. i checked the door and frame and saw a cracked place triangular shape on outside of the weather stripping on right and it was torn. there was also a scraped place on the left and weather stripping was also torn. The side of the storm door near bottom was pinched. I called Lowes to file claim. Later near dark the driver came back to get a tool kit he left and i showed him the damage and he gave me his drivers license to take pic of. when i told him i had filed a claim he was not happy and told me to cancel it. he didnt ask. i was afraid not to do it bc we r 80 and 84 and didnt want any trouble. he said he would rather pay it out of pocket bc he already had 2 claims. i said i would cancel it and work with him so he would leave. i put a hold on it didnt cancel it to allow him time to pay me. i called him few days later to ask when he would pay me and he didnt answer so i left msg to call me back. 2 or 3 days later i still hadnt heard from him so i took the hold off. that new fridge wasnt working right so i ordered another and told lowes not to send the same delivery driver and was assured by ash one of the managers he wouldnt. when the new fridge came n he delivered it. if i had known before he got here i would have told them not to send it til they had someone else. i had more trouble with him but different. i asked him to sign a paper saying he picked up the fridge but he wouldnt. because it was being returned i needed something to show they got it just n case it wasnt checked n when it got back to lowes. i ended up getting a credit but when the second one was ordered the mgr charged for a ice maker line but i had told her i wasnt going to use it so she shouldnt have. she told me she would issue a credit then. the next week no credit had been issued. the new fridge seemed to b working right but when i pulled the freezer door toward me to open it the fridge moved a little too. didnt realize that til next day. called lowes re that so someone is supposed to come next week mon and fix it so it wont roll. i didnt realize lowes doesnt have their own insurance for deliveries. that is through a different co. i dont know that i will do business with them again unless i have my own delivery people and i will check the receipt more carefully before leaving the store. talked with Logan and Ash and ended up with Mike supposedly all managers during this time.

My name is Tom Yusavage, I started building a retaining wall around six months ago. I come in each week for 6x6x12’s for the wall. My first couple trips in I pulled off the rack myself. A very difficult process. Months ago Twain stopped what he was doing and helped my load my truck. Since Brian and Tim have jumped in to help sort and load Timbers in truck. These three men are such an asset to your team. Twain, Brian and Tim are the reason I come to this store every week.Thank you

We entered the store a few minutes after opening. We needed assistance in the appliances and that team wasn't in for 2 more hours. However, my husband found a young man working in his own section (plumbing) willing to help. His name was Victor. He was a very clean cut, well-mannered, knowledgeable, young man with a bit over a year of Lowe's experience to his credit. It's worth mentioning his customer service skills were exemplary and he demonstrated those with the essence of patience. He checked on various products for us (on his handheld device), then double checked (went to the back and searched the on-site inventory), and finalized his search a 3rd time online. He made us aware of EVERY expense we could expect, offered alternatives, and made sure we got the EXACT percentage from the offer promised to us by Lowe's. We had a small technical issue (with the computer register and our new Lowe's card) and I was about to use another payment method, but Victor wasn't giving up! He called Lowe's corporate for instruction, got direction from the Assistant Mgr., and finally incorporated the assistance from the General Manager in order to MAKE our sale happen and was able to get us 20% off our purchase! He went the extra mile for us and then some. Wrapping up our transaction, he made our installation appointment and confirmed dates, times, and contact numbers. He made extra notes on our particular work order for the installation team, keeping our convenience first and foremost. His demeanor was very calming and I left that store with a smile on my face and my appreciation restored in his generation. He's a natural in customer service and his skills set the bar for all others. This young man is REMARKABLE!

Update 5/15: I really appreciate that Lowe's see's the review and took the time to respond back. @Lowe's - do you have plans to fix the broken self checkout machines and keep them functional and/or keep manned lines open?Huge Lowe's fan here, I am a very frequent shopper and often times feel like my entire paycheck goes straight to Lowe's.My issue is with the noticeable decline in checkout. I don't know the last time I've seen a manned register in the front of the store aside from the one by the self checkout section. I typically shop in the less busy hours so it wouldn't be a big deal BUT can someone explain why the self checkout registers are always broken? If you are lucky enough to find a functioning register chances are the scanner will be broken.Please step-up your game Lowe's and find a way to allow customers to checkout painlessly. Hate to admit it but I've started buying some of my typical Lowe's purchases from Amazon to save the checkout hassle at Lowe's.
