Every spiritual, religious and human bone in my body are urging my conscious to write this review in hopes that no one else (especially the elderly) have to experience what I have been experience at this CVS location for over a year now. Some of my experiences include (but are not limited to) the following: 1-poor customer service; 2-on a regular basis, medication is "not in stock"; 3-texts 2 calls are not made as promised; 4-medication is not calculated corrected or prorated when the stock is low and you can only get a portion of your prescription refilled; 5-the pharmacist says a lot of rude, condescending remarks to you (refused to come to the consult area even when I stated that I wanted to speak in confidence about my medication); 6-the pharmacist refused to provide an explanation that I understood. Finally, there seemed to be a racist tone in the pharmacy area perpetuated by the pharmacist. Even if you have to be inconvenienced, please find a pharmacy that will treat you with respect.

This is the worst CVS location I’ve ever been to. I am constantly stuck with UPS delivering my packages at this location and I desperately wish they wouldn’t do that since the employees here are consistently nasty towards customers. All I want is my package, not your attitude. Pack a tent if you come here, as you will be sitting at the front desk for up to an hour some days while everyone walks by and ignores you.This location needs to be shut down. Feels more like a money laundering site than an actual CVS business. Wish I could give zero stars but I cannot unfortunately. Just do yourself a favor and steer clear of the Charter Gate CVS and it’s employees.

I was helped today by a great technician who really went above and beyond to get an inhaler filled for my daughter. The staff are really great and do the best they can despite healthcare professionals being so understaffed and overworked.

Extremely unprofessional.I dropped off a prescription one day and came back a few days later to get it. When I get home I notice that the prescription they gave me was not what the doctor prescribed. I called them up to see what happened and after waiting over 20 minutes on hold (in the middle of the day, not a busy time) the pharmacist confirmed that it was the wrong prescription. He said that the correct prescription would be available later that day. He also emphasized that I need to bring the other prescription back. I assume because they will have to assume the cost of it since it was given to me by mistake.Due to work was not able to stop by until the next day. I go in with the wrong prescription and give it over to the pharmacist and then he tells me that CVS doesn't fill the correct prescription. Even though the day before the pharmacist told me to come back in and that it would be ready, when I ended up coming in I was told that CVS does not fill it. It was a waste of two trips. A double waste of my time and gas. CVS obviously doesn't care about customers and only cares that that get me to return that prescription so they didn't get charged for it.I'm pretty sure he lied to me about having the prescription ready for me so that I would come in and bring the wrong prescription back. I'll be moving all of my prescription away from CVS.

Hands down the worst CVS I've ever had to deal with. The employees in the pharmacy and the pharmacists are terrible. They literally tell you something different every time you call and say they will do something and never follow thru. I DO NOT recommend using this pharmacy for any reason

Due to Pharmacist changes this pharmacy seems to have lost it’s good customer service, caring for customers health and welfare. The systems seem not to work as well, pharmacy staff get frustrated if they have to contact doctors and medical insurance related to our prescriptions. Staff do not look for best value for customers considering how expensive prescriptions are today. CVS need to audit this branch or sell out to Walgreens.

I'm starting to think that this isn't a real pharmacy. Everytime my doc sends a prescription there, I get an automated text message telling me that it's on hold with no explanation or estimated date that it would be removed from this hold. Six different medications at this point. When I try to call to get information about it, I get placed on a neverending hold with horrible music that pauses every minute or so, tricking me into thinking that someone actually picked up, only to find out that I'm still trapped in hold music hell. As I'm typing this, I've been holding for over 40 minutes. Someone has to pick up at some point, right?I'm giving this two stars just in case this is actually a money laundering front for the mob or something (which I'm becoming increasingly convinced of). If I got my legs broken, my pain meds would be put on hold...

This was our family’s go to pharmacy when we first moved here. Everyone was so friendly, even knowing or recognizing who you were. The pharmacy staff would even follow up if a medication was out of stock or ask if a med should be refilled. In the last 6 months we have watched them go WAY down hill. Though we are in the midst of Covid, this has happened in the recent past. They are constantly closing the drive through stating they are understaffed, though yesterday they had four people working. I had a medication called in earlier in the day and at 6 it still wasn’t showing up on either my app or online. I was hung up on twice and waited over 30 minutes to never talk to someone. I actually drove up to the store while waiting on the phone and shared (as I heard the alert say 4 calls in queue) not only how long I waited to ask them if it was called in, but also pointing out that I will now have to come back to pick up a medicine that should have been filled earlier without me having to drive up to remind them. That is their job! Sadly, this has happened multiple times and we will be looking for another pharmacy.

Be very careful using this pharmacy!!! Went to pick up my husband's BP medication, luckily I checked the medication once I got out to the parking lot because they had put the wrong medication in the bottle, even though the bottle had the correct medication name on the label. Who knows what in the world was in that bottle??? Decided to give them one more chance, big mistake. This time they filled the prescription for 30 days, yet on the bottle it said it was filled for 90 days. When we tried to tell them that they only gave my husband only 30 days of BP medication instead of the 90 pills that was printed on the label, they tried to say that my husband took 90 days of pills in 30 days. Umm no, he's been taking the same medication for ten years, he would probably be dead or sick as a dog if he had taken that many pills in such a short period of time. You shouldn't have to go behind the pharmacist to make sure their doing their job correctly, but I guess that's what it has come down to since it's obvious they're not making sure their pharmacy techs are filling meds correctly.

This pharmacy actually cares about their patients, which is rare. They have the best employees. Specifically, Desmin. He is always so kind and personal. He recently went out of his way to pay for my daughters medication when my card wouldn’t work. His kindness truly saved my daughter. Thank you so much, Desmin and the rest of the employees at cvs on charter gate.

I do NOT understand why in the world this pharmacy is so slow and always backed up. It was like this prior to covid and has only gotten worse. Tonight there were 7! People working in the pharmacy. My husband had to go in. The drive thru was closed for short staffing? He waited for 45 mins for our kiddos meds. He gets to the counter and they tell him it’ll be another 20 mins. Yet the cvs app says the med has been ready since last night! He pointed this out to the pharmacy manager and he just shrugged his shoulders and walked away!I don’t get it.

As a pharmacy for prescriptions, this place is terrible. The drive thru is always backed up. If you stand at the counter, it's not uncommon to be ignored for several minutes before someone looks up with disgust to acknowledge you. The store itself is clean and organized and staffed by typically friendly people, but if you need an Rx filled, I recommend the CVS in Target a few minutes away. Much faster and their customer service blows this place out of the water.

Went to get my medicine and wanted to use my Care Credit to pay for it. Went to the drive thru and they said that they accept Care Credit. So as I’m sitting there for 10 minutes and they come back and said my card won’t accept the charge, so I leave and go home and call Synchrony Bank. Well, I was told that you cannot use CareCredit at CVS. I’m confused as to why the employees at CVS wouldn’t know that instead of trying to run my card over and over. I will be changing my prescriptions to another pharmacy.

The quality of the pharmacy has become terrible. Not ordering enough of the medications, asking you to come back only to not have the medication out there f stock because they pulled the promised medication for someone else. This pharmacy has gone way down hill over the last four months.

Idiot in the drive thru window, told me 1 hour, I came back 3+hours later he said they were out of my medicine, sent me to a different store and sent my prescription to a completely different store so now that I'm at the new location they also don't have my medicine. It's going to take over 2 hours of extra waiting in lines and driving to get my antibiotics. Dude said we'll have some tomorrow afternoon if you don't mind waiting lmao

PHARMACIST AT CVS ON CHARTER GATE IS A LIAR. CONSTANTLY REMOVE MY REQUESTS FOR REFILLS AND TAKES 2+ WEEKS TO REFILL PRESCRIPTIONS. IVE BEEN WITHOUT MY DIABETES MEDICATION FOR A MONTH NOW. NO CONTACT FROM THAT LOCATION. ANOTHER CVS LOCATION JUST CONFIRMED THAT MY ORDERS WERE CANCELLED AND THAT IS WHY I HAVENT GOTTEN MY DIABETES MEDICATION. I DESPISE LIARS AND CVS IS FULL OF THEM.
