Amanda was our server and she couldn't have been nicer! Absolute pleasure. They didn't have a lot of their wines when we visited so we only got to taste a few but the ones we did try were very good. The winery itself is very nice inside. All kinds of stuff to browse through, comfortable little couch area and plenty of seating. Everything was reasonably priced which is always nice! They are also picnic friendly so feel free to bring your own snacks.

This place is really nice. I recommend a wine icee and a sit on the back porch swing. The gift shop has some neat gifts and trinkets. The man who served us had the best Virginia accent. Be sure to stop by and enjoy.

Always wonderful to visit for professional visits or personal. Amazing variety of cool things in their store, wine tasting is available and everyone on their staff is extremely knowledgeable and helpful when tasting and choosing wine. All their wines are great for anyone but especially for those who are looking to make their way into more advanced wines or who are learning to acquire taste for wine, smooth and always flavorful. We absolutely love when we get to pair with West Wind on any event.

Great wine and even better atmosphere!! Brenda was so nice and explained all the wines we sampled; we bought 3 bottles! We missed meeting her husband Paul but will definitely be back for another visit. If you are ever in the area, I would highly recommend you stopping by; such a nice place and even nicer owners!

Saw a "Winery" sign.....it whispered...follow me.....Cute place! Enjoyed the wine tasting. Purchased a bottle New River Red. I must say, it is great@ I enjoyed browsing the gift shop and reading the cute coasters and wine glass with sarcastic sayings. Lovely spot for a girl's day. I'll post a picture if I can.

Loved our quick off 81 stop. Great for dogs, kids or a little romantic escape. Beautifully manicured lawn and fields overlooking the vineyard and wildflowers. Enjoyed the wine, cheese & crackers while the tree swallowed raced through the fields. Enjoyed every minute.

This place was wonderful! The customer service was incredible, and they talked us through what they thought we would like. The surrounding area is gorgeous, so the outdoor seating was a treat. Wine was delicious- we stuck with the red varieties and all were lovely.

Cute and charming winery in the mountains. It's one of the few that doesn't offer a cab franc or an extensive list of super sweet wines. It's a wino's winery. Beautiful scenery and sitting areas and a packed gift shop with unique wino gifts. Definitely a place we plan to visit for a glass or bottle of wine and I wine on the weekend.

This was one of the prettiest wineries I've been to in Virginia. Very small but quaint and excellent view. Wine tasting was quite fun thanks to our host, Jason. Owner Paul gave my group a wonderfully entertaining tour and then we sat out on their patio and ate our boxed lunches. The owners obviously love their job and the product shows it. Great Pinot Gris was my favorite.

This amazing place and the owner absolutely made our afternoon. Must visit. My boyfriend and I stopped here on our way home to DC, tasted all the wines, and had a glass each. The owner was so incredibly nice and told us about the winery and how they keep the shop so hip and cool. He also gave us a sample of his home collected honey and the slushy wine they had (I bought some of the slushy wine mix). This place is awesome and beautiful. I know it's really tough to keep a winery open in rural VA, and props to them for standing their ground and keeping this amazing place open.

A wonderful selection of wine! I usually tend to stick with Cabernets but all their selection of whites were on point and I left with my first bottle of white wine in some time. I also loved that their sweets were not overly sweet. Coming from Florida where most sweet wines are overly sweet these were the most sublime sweet wines I've tried. Highly recommended if you are driving through the area. Divine! Thanks for being so wonderful!

We walked around the shop and they had lots of cool things to buy.. Killed a little time while we waited to have a tasting.. There were about 5-6 spots for a tasing at the little bar.. Jason showed us a wonderful time and was extremely nice and knowledgeable. We sat in the gazebo and brought our own picnic and it was perfect for our Sunday evening on my mother in laws birthday. To add a bonus point their toilet paper was softer than we buy at home and the bathroom was spotless. 5-stars all day. Cheers! Go here!

My mom and I stopped at West Wind Farms for a driving break on a long roadtrip, and it far exceeded our expectations. The scenery is breathtaking, the staff is very accommodating, and the gift shop is definitely worth perusing. We were looking for lunch, which they didn’t have, however they do have cheese for a snack. Only about 9 minutes from the interstate, it is definitely worth a stop and a glass of wine! We can’t wait to visit again on our next trip.
