I dropped my dog off at 8:05am and by 4:00pm they were just starting on her, heed I made an appointment 3 weeks prior so this was not a walk in or last minute deal. My dog is a labordoodle who needed a summer cut and I wanted her shaved with her ears and tail left and just trimmed. When I got my dog back she was odd shaved and uneven. She has guard lines all through her body. She has nicks and bald spots and her feet were not trimmed, ears were not cleaned and she looks completely terrible like my pure bread dog has the mange. It was so bad I had to sit in my car and cry at the state of my baby. Also want to point out myDog was brushed every other day and bathed every other week. She’s extremely taken care of and didn’t have any mats or anything and now she looks like a child Attempted to shave her. I’m so disappointed and disgusted at the care of my dog. Leaving her in a kennel for almost 7hrs then sped through the grooming for in less than 30 mins which for my 80lb dog that has rigorous grooming is insane and of course they charged me full price. Anyone who has to get special grooming for your breed please don’t go here. The picture of her with hair is what she looked like prior to these people butchering my poor baby.

I was in the neighborhood for work and I stopped into spunky’s spa. They allowed me to do a walk in and I showed them my shot records for Josie my beagle. They did an amazing job grooming her and giving her a bath. I highly recommended Spunky’s spa!

Both of the dogs pictured here were both clean and dry upon arrival. They stayed there for three days in total. When we picked them up on day four at 11:30am the kennel they were in had pee and poop in it. First off, when we filled out the application we made sure to specify to not board them together because they are baby’s and they are not fixed yet , the suppose to be white one is a boy and the black one is a girl when we picked them they were in the same kennel. We also left specific instructions for the black one it was to not keep her harnesses on her while in the kennel because she will chew it off if unsupervised and when we arrived the harness was bitten in half (as seen in the picture) and soaked in pee … as we’re both the dogs as I stated previously the suppose to be white dog isn’t white he’s yellow mind you they have only Been there for three nights the black one was also soaked in a strong Oder of pee. When we called to ask about why they were covered in pee and poop there response was that they were hard to handle because they were bitting but when we called several times to check in on them we were told they were doing fine no behavioral issues were mentioned, we did try calling at least 10 times throughout the three days they were there but each time no answer when we finally did get an answer we were told everything was fine as I stated before. We also asked why they were together when asked not to be the owner stated that the weekend staff must have not known to put them away separately so obviously information about animals is not being provided to the other workers as it should be which is unprofessional. So far we have been told that the money for the harness will be provided (as it should be).

I have owned 2 other Schnauzers and this is my 3rd! I have done a lot better than this myself! The picture of the one nice schnauzer I’d what she should have looked like! This week marks her 6 month bday. This has to be the worse schnauzer cut I ever seen and I will not ever take her there again! I’m so upset it makes me want to cry!

I won't ever trust my fur babies here again after working for them I personally seen that some of them shouldn't be anywhere near anyone's animal. I witnessed some of the other employees picking dogs up by their fur and jerking them around. Calling them stupid dogs and rushing them through the outside breaks. First i was told to give the dogs more time outside then was told that i put them behind schedule because i actually waited for them to walk around and use the bathroom instead of just running them out and right back in. Some of the kennels had poop and pee stained so bad it took actually scrubbing with bleach and still couldn't get it all. They can't actually groom they just run a shaver through. If your dog has tangled fur rest assured they will get the tangles out by ripping it out with a small tooth comb instead of a dog brush. Only one person there actually cares about the dogs and she is so over run she doesn't even know what's going on. When a worker asked what to do about giant hornets swarming the outside area where the dogs go they were instructed to spray bleach over the area, the grassy area where the dogs go to use the bathroom and eat grass???? Why would you recommend spraying bleach where you know the dogs could possibly be eating? If your dog is sick you would think that you would inform owners of their pet getting sick or hurt but nope they didn't care. As for the job aspect the owners might would know a little more if they actually cared but they don't. They care about the money it seems. At one point they might have had a love and respect for the animals and the job but as of now they definitely don't. I witnessed allot as a worker so much so that I actually felt bad for the dogs. Mine will definitely not return. It's pointless to pay the extra fee for choosing the cottage with the TV because the TV is rarely actually cut on for them you basically are just making sure they have a bigger kennel. Some of the bigger dogs were in small cages instead of an actual kennel like they should have been. I was let go from this job bc I had a family emergency and unfortunately was unable to make the 2nd phone call letting them know that I wouldn't be able to come in to work, I was able to make the 1st letting them know I'd be late but after an emergency that was unforeseen as they usually are was unable to call again and inform I wouldn't be in at all and bc the other worker who no called no showed 2 times previously didn't show up that was enough for my dismissal- which I understand life happens and you have to deal with it. As a worker though I had many issues where I wasn't exactly getting treated right and they couldn't handle it as bosses said they simply didn't have the time it was basically my problem yet could suddenly be bosses enough to raise a voice and dismiss me on my first ever issue -without ever even understanding, which if you ask me is no way to run any kind of business. I wouldn't advise going here if you truly love your fur baby. Mine will never return after seeing some of the mistreatment towards the dogs.

Very busy, local groomer. Was booked up 6 weeks in advance. So, I scheduled our first appointment for about 6 weeks out. But, we needed our boy's haircut sooner, so we took him to another available groomer in the interim. There are about 3 people working the shop. The owner, Wanda, is a very nice, caring individual. She's always there to take the lead on things. We're very happy with the service. Easy to deal with. They seem to genuinely love all the boys and girls they groom. In my opinion, the prices are very fair. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to all my friends.

Hands down the most incredible doggy daycare I have ever seen. Wanda and Guy care so much for each pup that walk through their doors. They treat everyone’s dog like they are their own. I’ve seen them interact with my Great Dane and she is always thrilled to see them and love on them! 10/10 would recommend to everyone.

My dog Juno doesn't like anyone outside of our house. She is always excited to see "her friends" at Spunky's. We've had dog sitting for a day or two and have boarded her here a few times. She gets the full bathing once a month. I'd never dream of taking her elsewhere, Wanda and Guy REALLY care about their clients. I would urge anyone who is reading this to trust them with your fur-faced baby.

Awesome service. They are very professional, they have patience with and strive to do an excellent job. I dont trust hardly anyone with our dog, but I did them, they did a very good job even my dog was happy. Great Customer service, ran by really good people. Very professional. I highly recommend Spunky's Spa, you are your dog will not be disappointed.

I boarded my dog with Spunky's Spa while traveling for a holiday. They were friendly, super clean, let me ask ALL the questions a nervous dog mom needs to ask, and made me feel comfortable leaving her in their care. Their prices were surprisingly affordable. My girl had a great week and seemed in good spirits when I picked her up. Will definitely be using them again!

They were absolutely amazing with my cat! He is almost 16 years old and they took their time with him (6.5 hours). Didn't charge any extra for the extra time either. Definitely recommend them to anyone. We will be using them for all of my animals which is 5 dogs and 3 cats! So they will be busy 😁

Nothing wrong with the grooming, but unpleasant ownership. Very frustrated they wouldn't take our small dog, even though we brought ALL the paperwork we brought every other time. Made our appointment months in advance, drove half an hour. But they said they now needed different paperwork and did NOT communicate any specific changes in advance. We explained that our paperwork was accepted before and all we got was an uncaring, "you must have had someone else check you in."Last time here for us.

My two dogs have never been happier while having to be away from us. They definitely love animals and treat them like family. So glad we have someone we can truly trust with our dogs when we can't take them with us. I would definitely recommend them for grooming and boarding! Thanks Spunky's Spa!

a week ago Wanda cut the inside of My Dogs Eye & just because it wasn’t Bleeding she said she didn’t do it & it wasn’t a deep cut or anything it was like a scratch bad enough to make my dog close his left eye up completely & it was irritated so bad I had to take him to the Vet & I had to pay out ridiculous money & this was also told to Wanda & all she could say was I’m sorry & not to mention during the Spring there was a bad Flea out Break in there & they told no one about the situation & My Mothers dog came Home with Fleas all on her. These People are Money Hungry & they are not as good as people are saying. If you take your dog there always check them before you leave.

I took Sam Elliott in today 1/1/2020 for a bath and trimming. He’s a standard poodle and he came home looking very handsome. The staff where very friendly, asked what I wanted done and did what I asked. Yesterday was our first experience at Spunkys Spa and we couldn’t be happier. From the very first phone call, to the appointment, and afterward, I can honestly say that I haven’t seen a nicer Customer/Pet friendly atmosphere. Wanda took time from her busy day to assure that Maggie, our Giant Schnauzer was completely comfortable with her by playing with her and allowing Maggie to make up her own mind about her surroundings without any stress....I believe I had more anxiety because I wasn’t sure how well she was gonna do with her first grooming. As it turned out, There was no need to worry. In fact, when I returned to pick her up, she was having such a great time, she didn’t notice that I was there at all which is very unusual because Maggie is and always has been my shadow since we brought her home from the first day.I’m really critical but can’t find anything that I would have changed! Thank you Wanda and Spunkys Spa! Excellent grooming, cleanliness, temperament, and welcoming atmosphere deserves far more than just 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ so if you want the best of the best, Spunkys is your Go-to for all of your pet care needs and desires!
