💘 LOVE....LOVE THIS STORE...I HATE MALLS AND SHOPPING...I COULD SPEND ALL DAY IN THIS STORE...THE EMPLOYEES ARE EXTRAORDINARY!!! i have a super old HUGE house and saved $200.00 of of the VALSPAR MEMORIAL DAY SALE!! Thanks to CHRIS for hauling the paint to my truck-he is awesome and poor HAILEY CANNOY had to mix and carry all 6 of the 5 gallons --SHE IS THE BEST IN THE PAINT DEPARTMENT!!! YAY!! LOWES IS THE BEST FOR HELPING SENIORS. The Martinsville Lowe's is so hit or miss with service. If the employees actually wanted to be there and helpful it could be a good shopping experience.If you need any assistance, good luck. If you need something brought down with a fork give up and go to another store! I have gone there many times, the app says in stock and I can see the item up on a high shelf. "Sorry we don't have any".It is a real shame too as I do prefer Lowe's for my big box hardware but this one is just....

DO NOT! AND I REPEAT! DO NOT EVER PURCHASE ANY APPLIANCES from this store. YOU WILL GET NOTHING but SHEER AGGRAVATION! I purchased a washer/dryer in Oct. '22. AND a dishwwasher in March '24. They screwed up on the delivery TWO TIMES! Also I purchased a dryer in NC in Jan. 21. And they screwed up on that as well. DO YOURSELF a BIG FAVOR and BUY ELSEWHERE!!!! I'd NEVER recommend this store to ANYONE!

Didn't have what I was looking for in stocks on the shelf. Nobody around to ask for help. When I finally found someone, they looked at their little gadget and said they don't sell that item in the store and it would have to be ordered online. I pointed to the spot on the shelf where they were supposed to be. Still wouldn't check to see when they would be restocked. Then I had to check myself out because they no longer have cashiers. would not recommend.

Tried to place oder for Ego Electic Riding Lawn Mower and asseries. I hade to return and cancel orders on over $5,000.00 in Ego lawn mower products, due to lies and deceptions by employees. I will order on line for now. If online does wicked, I will cease to do business with this store. I truly loved my Lowes and many of it's good employees. But at over $5,000.00 in one order purchases, , and the problems it is causing me.. It will not be good for me to continue doing business there.. Never been to Martinsville, NC Lowes, Tried them the employees lied their too. They would rather lie than look up the product. So I will order on line. No since in shopping where the employees don't care about there jobs.I have reordered part of my original order on line myself with help from customer care department. Spoke to lady name Anna. She showed she cares. My oder is due to me on April 1st. If all goes well, I will place the rest of the bulk of my order online, and have it shipped to me also.I am a senior citizen widow, and need help with it world of the internet, from time to time.Thank you, and bless you all, who care.

I don't quite know what the structure is with employees here, but there's no one cross-trained for sections and there is a lot of passing the buck to others from those you can find. We finally found someone, and the gentleman was genuinely helpful, but we had been through 3 employees to find him. There are lots of nice items here, and if you know how to diy, your skills will help you in finding your own parts because employees are thin on the ground.

Brought 40 bags of Mulch to start my yard . Friday and my God . Sunday late afternoon I started seeing bugs . Looked closer and wow they are TERMITES ALL OVER MY PORCH THE CHAIRS AND EVERYWHERE EATING AWAY . Called the a man told me yes he has been seeing them . He was from the area working in the Garden area. He has me to call the supervisor and she says let me get the information for the vendor 🤦🏽♀️🤷🏽♀️

Placed an order online for pickup for 60 watt light bulbs. The specifications for the lights I ordered on Lowes website listed the Max Watts as 60 w. (LOWES MISTAKE) When I opened the lights about an hour after placing the order for light bulbs I saw a big bright sticker saying "FIRE WARNING MAX 40 Watts Bulbs". (LOWES MISTAKE) As I went to cancel my order I simultaneously received a notification that my order was picked up and thanking me for my order. I immediately called the store and it turned out after saying the same thing 20 times to the automated unhelpful robot, the person who was working on my order answered. They said "they accidentally completed my order after putting it in a locker because they put it in the wrong order." (LOWES MISTAKE) I said "well I was online trying to cancel this order right now as we speak, my card was charged and I have a receipt but I never left my house" They said no problem I will take care of that for you. 2 hours later I receive an emailed Sales Receipt for this material so I have to call AGAIN. (LOWES MISTAKE) They tell me "They processed the return" to which I responded "all I received was a receipt for a sales order, please email me the physical return receipt" and they respond that I have to drive down to get my receipt for return. What followed was 10 minutes of talking to 3 different associates telling me I had to drive to Lowes and they could not email me the receipt for return. I told all of them, this isnt even supposed to be a "Return" it is supposed to be a "Cancellation" but LOWES MESSED THE ORDER UP. (LOWES MISTAKE) Finally I get to the last associate who picks up the phone and asks me phone my email. Then spends the rest of the call making excuses for the extremely terrible customer service I just received. "We cant leave the customer service desk and the computer with the email on it is in another room" Was their first excuse as to why I have been sitting on the phone being told over and over they cannot email it to me and I have to drive to Lowes to get the receipt. "They didn't have your email" was the second excuse. This problem was caused by Lowes from start to finish and made worse by absolutely terrible and lazy customer service. You have a phone in your hand and you are giving me the excuse that you couldn't leave the desk. Keep the completely bogus excuses to yourself next time and maybe just do the work to help the customer! Especially when it was all, YOUR MISTAKES OVER AND OVER! TERRIBLE!

These guys need a way better return policy, take notes from walmart, and the prices for half-life durable tools with no warranties worth having are downright disappointing. Just the convenience of overpriced wood and something to patch a broken part temporarily is nice, but other than that, it's sad. Also, look into other options for appliances they are really overpriced. And always avoid samsung appliances as if they carry the new bubonic plague variant of covid 19. This store has zero organization specifically. Happy shopping, folks.

I purchased two refrigerators last week, both with haul away of old fridge added to the order. The delivery guys advised they could not figure out how to shut off the water for the ice maker, and so they left one new fridge in my entryway, one is connected but the water line is taped with duct tape so that it doesn’t leak, and the existing water line on the one they could not remove was damaged by them when they tried to pull it out and its leaking water from behind the fridge. I have towels on the floor to save the situation from getting out of control. I called and spoke with a manager last night who offered no help. I’m documenting this here so that if my floors and kitchen cabinets get ruined there is a detailed record for my attorney in addition to honest feedback for anyone considering buying their fridge from Lowe’s. They took the full amount of money (almost 4K) and delivered me unassembled, unconnected products and also created a water leak in my home. This is not going to end well. Do yourself a favor and buy your appliances somewhere else.

2 year no interest card is a rip-off. Charged interest from month 2 on. Request explanation. None given. Zero trust in this facility. Accounts will be cleared and closed with a notification to the monitoring entity.Called the store. They say I did not buy it ther.Drove to the store where they admit I bought it there with proof of receipt but stated they had never heard of the special financing from Syncrony. They stated there is nothing they can do, but I could come back Monday to speak with another manager. Would not refund the cost with product return.Called Syncrony again, where they stated the store created this issue and asked that I go back and have them call Syncrony after the costomer service there stated it was a Syncrony issue and they could do nothing about it.Long story short, waste of a day, Veterans day special, Veterans beware. Bright side is a have renovated several homes by only buying from Lowes and also use them for business. Now Home Depot or another provider will see an increased spend.Cancelling accounts and posting reviews to be sure it is noted that this is not a trustworthy business.

TOMMY! I took a trip out to VA to help my mom retire and move into my grandma's old house, which had not been occupied in about 15 years (so you can imagine there are lots of maintenance problems to deal with). I was back and forth almost everyday to Lowe's for the week I was there trying to do handy work for my mom and save her some stress and money, and the biggest concern was plumbing. I had to replace 3 sinks and a toilet, which ibhad never done before, and didn't know much to anything about plumbing. I came across Tommy my first day out there in the plumbing section and he was one of the biggest blessings I've had so far in life. He knew exactly what was wrong, what tools and parts I needed, what to do & not to do... all without even stepping foot in the house. He was so patient, knew what he was talking about, never brushed me off or rushed me to help anyone else, and I was able to do all the repairs in the house with his help. Tommy is easily one of the best customer service employees I've ever met & I work customer service myself. He definitely deserves a promotion, pay raise, recognition & anything else that comes with going above and beyond to do your job the right way. Thank you so much Tommy, my mom and I appreciate you more than you know!

Donny turned a terrible experience into a great one. My parents purchased a washing machine that was delivered broken. After multiple phone calls and visits to the store, they were told they would have to move it out of the house themselves and wait for parts to come in for it to be repaired!!! I was finally able to speak to Donny who listened to the situation and was able to help my family out. They had been without a washing machine for over a week, but Donny had a new one there within a few days. Many thanks!

Purchased wood for a deck at end of spring. Wood was bad. Upon completion of deck- wood splintered, cracked, became jaguered, shrunk. Had a difficult time reaching general manager (Martinsville). Was promised someone would come and expect problem and never did. More calls made- no result. Notified home office who said they would follow through and played phone tag between local store and home office over the entire summer with no resolution. Became just as aggravated with communication and promises as with poor wood.They do not stand behind their product. Be aware! Also notified BBB.

DO NOT Buy Lowe's protection plans. They say with their protections plans -Keep it running reward -Replacement promise. -Repair quick. I have been waiting 40 days for a repair for my oven. Lowe's protection plan SUCKS.

I ordered a washing machine through the app on July 6th because it was "in stock"It wasn't in stock and they then told me it would be here on the 13th. It didn't arrive. It's now July 16th and we have been without a washing machine this entire time. I couldn't cancel the order because I wouldn't get my money back for weeks (Been through that) If the app just said it wasn't in stock I would have gotten another one. Thanks Lowes for making my families life way more complicated than it needs to be.

Had to load railroad cross ties with only one person to help. I asked employee if could get fork truck but he said didn’t have anyone certified to operate it at the time and no one else free to help. Pulled my back loading second one out of five. Told employee he had to get someone else that I may have already hurt myself. He recruited another customer from the parking lot to help. Unreal! We struggled but managed to get them loaded. Went and had a word with the manager but he acted like he could care less. Seemed like it inconvenienced him to have to deal with me. He offered no apologies and no excuses for anything. 2 days later and now 2 visits to chiropractor and 1 visit to urgent care to get shot of prednisone. Probably won’t ever return to this location.
