I got two hamsters from this store. They were for my son who loves them but they are very feral. He can't really handle them like you would want to. They do have a lot of different animals but it seems that other then the owner, they staff does not understand a lot about the animals they care for.I bought some feeder rats for my snakes, but they look like a mix of rat and gerbil, and my snakes still do not want to eat them. Maybe they know something I do not.🤷‍♀️The staff is friendly but the store needs love. Painting, cleaning, scrubbing and reorganizing. I feel sorry for the animals because they seem like they are not handled well. The owner does not allow photos in the store and I assume it is for reporting proposes. The last time I was in there this past week the cages were filthy. There were knats flying around in the rat and hamster cages. Makes you sad.

I went in here just to look around, there was one workers who kinda rude. When we asked questions about prices of the animals, we were dismissed and not really answered. On top of that, there was literal mushrooms growing in the Guinea pig cage and other fungi. There were flies flying around all the animals and some of them looked like they were about to pass out from the heat in there. I didn’t see any clean cages and my sister said she seen a flea jump off one of the rabbits. The animals really need to be taken out of there and rescued, it’s really sad how neglected they are.

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. The prices are a bit high if you want a bunch of fish. You'd save money if you want more then 1-2 fish and are starting a aquarium with a bunch of different fish by going to a pet store out of town. Otherwise, everything else was well priced, used tanks are sold cheaper than big box stores.

Had a wonderful experience. Staff is very knowledgeable and super friendly. Beautiful aquariums set up to see. Also a large variety of fish from beginners to seasoned aquatic lovers. I will be back for more fish and recommend to everyone. Ps they even have an assortment of reptiles and little furries.

terrible, poor animals in there. fish living in gross green tanks or over crowded tanks, snakes in poor living conditions, snakes being fed live, iguana in small cage, awful mold smell(gag worthy) and just poor mice conditions too. over all horrible id rather buy from petco which also had bad care but this is WAY worse. the birds conditions arent great either PLEASE DONT SUPPORT this business. this will probably be taken down but its true!!!

Purchased ten fish two tetras died the next morning then within two days tank broke out with Ick and fungus infection . Was able to treat tank and save rest of fish . I wouldn't say store was cause of the infection for I have no proof of that . Area in need of Aquatics store and supplies . Hope JMZ is able to hang in there and bring more variety of fish . Also a clean environment of store is beneficial . Lots of animals to care for is several hours a day in feeding and care , so I wish them the best of luck with endeavor .

If you need crickets or Super worms go here!! DONT go to petsense they are always out and thier crickets are always small and die fast and are way more expensive. I just bought 5 dozen HEALTHY crickets and 3 dozen super worms and only payed 13 bucks!!!!!

I've never bought anything from here but I've only heard bad things. The one time I did check it out it was pretty nasty in there! Alot of birds caged in very small enclosures

I visited thinking maybe I had found another store to buy fish and aquarium supplies. After I left, it took 1/2 an hour for my brain to stop smelling the fetid urine odor that assaulted me as soon as I opened their door. The aquariums were dirty - most had algae growth. The aquarium supplies were very limited. I will not go back.

I picked up a few fishes from this store. They are amazing. If you like fish for you or your kids. Great place to start. I'm going back soon for a few more fish.

Great store anything you need for any pet!! Staff was GREAT!!! It a place to see.. They told me things I was shocked to here abt certain fish they know their stuff

Mike is very reasonable and extremely knowledgeable of his inventory .He keeps the best quality water in the facility for the fish and can get any other animal you’d like.

I was a big supporter for this young man business at first.... Now the store has went down hill staff should be cleaning the tanks they’re all green and cages nasty “but they don’t “and the store has a trouble smell about makes you sick 😷
