Got prime rib burgers for a quick dinner. Out of 5 burgers there was around a cup of water, and hardly any fat. Disgusting. Why pay for premium meat if it's gonna be filled with water to make the weight???

Nice, clean store. Better selection than Eden, NC stores. We don't mind driving to Virginia. I ignore rude cashiers because I like the atmosphere and selection.

Friendly Staff, Helpful. Prices ok. Reason for only 3 star, many times I have gone there and find trash around front of store and in parking lot. Last couple of times it has been better.

No complaints that I can think of. Employees are helpful and polite. The store is usually clean as far as I can tell. There is never any long waiting periods to check out. They have decent MVP deals on most trips to the store. I think their product availability is also pretty decent as compared to before when everyone was out of everything. And they also offer other services like Coinstar and VaLottery etc. I usually shop here because it's the closest store to my house. Actually until this review I never really noticed how good this store has been to me. But it has. Definitely. Thanks for your hard work and great customers skills Food Lion near my house!

It's FoodLion. Good products. Good prices. I really like the deli. Fresh meat and cheese. Great selection of breads if you wish to have other options than standard.

The chip readers are obviously faulty. I used it after their reader declined my card. I didn't like the fact that happened. I was embarrassed that their chip reader did that. Not the first time I've had an embarrassing moment at this location. I won't be back now.

This store wants to accuse innocent people of credit card fraud. If your cashier did there jobs an ID for purchases other than cash you wouldn't have a problem. Needs better management

Did my 1st online shopping and when I went to pick up the order, employees were awesome! The sunscreen I wanted was not available and when I asked him if I could add another type to my order, he was glad to do it although my pickup was ready. Very professional and sweet. Will definitely do this again.

The guy at the checkout was so rude & hateful.If I EVER go back to this Food Lion again I will NEVER get in his line again.He has NO customer service experience at all.I had an issue with the price of two items.It was a Saturday only " Hot deal".It did not ring up correctly so I brought it back in.He was checking another customer out at this time.He yelled out WHAT'S WRONG? Everyone started staring.I told him my items rang up wrong.He said They are priced correct.I told him the sign is right in front of the items saying B1G1 free.He took the sign off where it was stuck & said Its right.I told him I wanted my money back I wont paying that.He said well go to CS desk & I will be over there.A lady took his spot at the register but he went elsewhere.I waited over 20 mins for him.I guess he thought I would just say forget it. You DO NOT treat your customers like that.He acted like I was a bother..He has NO business running a register if he cant control his anger!

Very rude customer service. The manager does not care if lines get backed up he does not offer assistance.I was literally turned down by a cashier right after he took another person in his line. I do instacart and this is the last time I will come in this grocery store I will go to another store.

Julie was my shopper for curbside pick up, she was amazing and so helpful! She took pictures for me without even asking. I've never had a shopper do that before. Best communication I have ever had! Thank you so much Julia for making things so easy!! I'd give her a 10 star if I could!

I gave it another shot at this food lion however, the same checkout clerk pulled another attitude and made the experience horrible. Again' Food Lion has great prices and great quality on the store brand and sometimes the premium brands. I will severely limit my purchases with food lion because of the experience I had today.

Been coming here for years. Most of them know me. They never give me any hassle about entering the store barefoot, which is how I live my life and it's nice to see that they respect that. they also keep an eye out for empty lanes when they see me in the store because they know I have spent thousands of dollars in there.

Cashier 0214 at 17:22:44 pm. On July 8th 2021. Thought it best to conversation with her bagger/coworker, rather than greet me and thank me and telling me to have a good day. She told the lady in front of me only "have a good day", she said nothing to me, then as I'm gathering my bags, I hear her say "hi how are you" to the person behind me. So they can be spoken to and the person in front of me but I get nothing. But to hear your conversation about how there are favorites at food lion and your coworker won't get fired for having her phone out in front of a line full of customers. This cashier has shoulder length blonde hair, she had no name tag on. The other girl was darker skin tone with black or dark hair that looked natural curly or wavy. Every time I get this cashier this is how she acts. It seems like she had no worries about not doing her job and getting fired for not doing so. I've worked for a food lion before and I know I would have gotten written up at least for the stuff she was doing. This is ridiculous. Makes me not want to come back.

Good place to shop for groceries or common home goods. High prices, and if you have the MVP membership then it brings them down some, and yes, the employees are kind too!

This staff has always gone out of their way to help me and anyone who needs it. Today the manager loaded my cat food bag, the cashier unloaded my cart, one of the office staff loaded my car, and one of my favorite staff members and an associate were chatting with me, while still constantly shelving, and then they hurried to help another customer looking for a weird pharmaceutical ingredient for dehydration. They have been like this for more than 12 years at least, hope they never change.

Food prices are soaring out of control!! Does'nt matter where you shop anymore. So we all get into the mindset to refine our choices accordingly...Back to good home cooking and preparing dishes that go further is a good idea.

The clerk was extremely help and they even loaded my groceries in my car. The lady that waited on me bagged the groceries as she went and put them in my cart. A very exceptional experience

I always go to this particular store for my grocery shopping and it's usually pretty good. But, lately, I have noticed that several brand items that I always buy, are not on the shelves anymore.
